Avatar f tn My latest bought (Just getting Over) originated from the below the jaw/neck. Radiated to ear, teeth, cheek, eye and forehead. At 1st I thought it was an ear infection. There are 3 nerves (TRI-geminal) in the face that will cause different pain in different locations. Typically only effects one side of the face. Treatment is difficult. Pain med. Anti-inflammatory. Soft foods, rest.
Avatar m tn A few days ago I yawned, and had this extreme pain in my upper neck, right below my chin. I have experienced this pain before, but not like this. After the yawn occurred, I experienced massive head pain. The pain did not stop, and has continued threw the week. And I also have experienced the neck pain every so often. But now, after over talking/volunteering, I'm experiencing the pain non stop, And my head hurts quite a lot. Also when I lay my head down I can feel a very hard beat in my head.
1947337 tn?1331423890 This exercise will help your muscles to strengthen the correct placement of it. Untreated TMJ will cause all sorts of ungodly pain, neck pain and even shoulder pain and migraines. There is also a dental contraption you can have fitted and wear to bed. It's like a retainer. It prevents teeth grinding. I wore one for 6 months. It didn't really help. My guess is that I don't grind my teeth, but the dentist swear that is the cause. I think they just want to sell the $500 retainer.

751397 tn?1367437548 I was 21, raising 2 kids, lost both of my grandparents. I tried pain clinics with injections into the back of my neck. Nothing worked. I found I had developed a fibrous growth on my neck from the accident in 1969. It had taken this long to show up. The headaches persisted for about 4 years. One day I received a flyer in the mail about DMSO. I ordered the product and started rubbing this compound on the spot on my neck. Within a couple of weeks the pain was leaving.
Avatar f tn This could be signs of heart problems if your getting pain up your shoulder, neck and jaw. I heard you get pain in your jaw this way. You should really go to a cardiologist to monitor your heart! Especially if heart disease runs in the family! I wish you the best.
Avatar n tn About 1 week ago,on my upper left side teeth started to bother me. I found myself wanting to bite down to help with the pain, it started hurting my left ear, and now the pain has moved into my lower left row of teeth and kind of into my neck, like a strained feeling in my neck. Some day's I feel nothing for panin, and others it is pretty bad. I still have a wisdome tooth on that upper left side, that has grown in oddly forward.
Avatar n tn I did develop dry sockets and an infection after these teeth were removed, but those things have been corrected. The pain starts around my bottom back teeth on the right side and goes down my neck, into my upper chest, and sometimes down my arm, making my hand numb. There is also pain in the right side roof of my mouth and upper teeth. I also have been experiencing headaches on the right side. This pain is keeping me from sleeping, eating, talking, you name it.

Avatar m tn I have been having a stiff neck, low energy, sweating (all over), tailbone pain etc. I quit my job receiently. Few things I noticed being unemployed ( or part time, in my case); it is not all that healthy. I came to this site looking for answers on some health things that are not common place to me. Just ideas..I am on the computer alot more, I sit more. Just to start off I just dont even walk as much in a general day as before. Watch movies/Telly here and there more often.
Avatar f tn And yes it does help with you teeth hurting, neck and head. Try Synesodyne toothpaste, that will stop the pain in your teeth. As far as the neck, head and specifically shoulders go to a Massage therapist and tell them to work firmly on your back, shoulders neck and head. Be sure to drink a lot of water after the massage. But the next day, sometimes almost immediately, you will feel relief. I'm surprised the dentist didn't suggest a nightguard or synesodyne toothpaste.
1809287 tn?1316744936 i am due to get my wisdom teeth removed in a short period of time and am considering putting it off until all this pain is gone. ive had a lot of work done on my teeth in the last month, including root canals and even another extraction, all of which went by smoothly and the healing process was quite fast, however, this time around, it is becoming unbarable. i find myself in tears after hours of constant pain. i would love some answers. please help!
Avatar n tn danielle, it can also be decayed teeth, or impacted wisdom teeth trying to find room to erupt. you should see a dentist for a complete exam, xrays, and treatment plan.
Avatar n tn headaches, pain behind both eyes, fullness pain in ear behind ears, jaw pain, neck pain, teeth pain, hurts to smile or laugh. I went to the dentist he said i have wisdom teeth coming in but they shouldn't be making that bad of pain all around my face, went to ER lady said she didn't think it was my teeth so i should get my sinuses checked out, got sinus antiobiotics didn't help at all.
Avatar m tn s a very good idea to seek therapy ~ it can make a world of difference in your life! Regarding the jaw pain; clenching jaw muscles can affect your neck and jaw, it is actually a common symptom for many people who suffer from anxiety. If it is extreme, you can ask your dentist for a mouth guard, which can help reduce the pain and also save your teeth from any future damage ( use it at night while you sleep, or if you nap anytime)...
Avatar n tn I have extreme pains down my neck, (mainly on the right side). My neck constantly pops now. My ear pain is much more intense, and now, my right nostril is very sensitive and it is acually painful to breathe through my nose because of this. My entire right side of my face is terribly painful constantly, and I have not slept through a night in months. I am tired, and depressed. My doctors dont know what to make of it, and there are no medications able to help me right now.

655242 tn?1229472744 For years I have thought I had TMJ but just recently I started having right sided pain like headaches that go behind eye and into temple, cheek pain, teeth pain, neck and throat pain. I was stretching my neck when I felt a tight band like thing under my jaw. It is REALLY tight too...feels like a rubber band stretched until it is about to break. Is this my stylohyoid ligament? I was trying to figure out what the heck it was and this is the only thing I could come up with.
