Avatar f tn I was admitted to the hospital for the night and had an ecg chest xray and various blood tests inc d dimer and troponin and everything was fine so i was sent home. I saw a cardiologist a few weeks later and had another ECG and echocardiogram and everything came back fine. He said my heart was perfectly normal. After this the GP diagnosed me with costochondritis. The pain i was having in my chest was awful.
Avatar f tn For about a year now I have been having stabbing chest pain only occurring at night during sound sleep. I have the tightness of the chest, shortness of breath, back pain, and the pain traveling to my jaw and teeth. I have been to the cardiologist and have had a stress test, and echogram. They had some question on my blood pressure readings from the stress test, so I have a heart cath done. All came back normal.

Avatar m tn Angina pectoris can be very subtle and one is hardly aware, and it can be excruciating. Some people don't experience any pain with identical occlusions that cause some to have the chest pain, etc. I think the appropriate response on a scale of 1-10 the pain can be within the given range and different parts of the upper torso and jaw. . Thanks for your question.
659608 tn?1318289366 It is however more than possible that you could have an infection in your jaw, say, from an impacted or infected wisdom tooth. Tooth pain can often make the ear and neck hurt as well (just as an ear infection can make the teeth hurt...). There is also the possibility that there is nothing wrong with you dentally either and you are suffering from neuralgic pain.
Avatar f tn I smoked a couple of cigarettes and suddenly got a tingling feeling in arms which quickly turned to pain radiating to my neck and jaw with a tight feeling in chest. I experienced anxiousness and unable to be still and a heavy amount anxiety. Also my jaw and feet were clenching. I got really nervous and started to do physical activity and all the symptoms went away. What could this be?
Avatar n tn There is no typical cardiogenic chest pain, which is crushing precordial pain radiating to the jaw, arm and neck, relieved with sublingual nitrates. other possibilities for the muscle spasms can be chest injuries, previous chest surgery, possible culprit, any history of athletics, stress fractures , pulled chest muscles. Fibromyalgia is an important condition of chronic fatigue which causes severe muscle pain, with muscle spasms in chest.
Avatar f tn it could be something not as sinister, in a heart attack there is chest pain, lower jaw pain, dizziness, pain radiating down the armmainly left side, sometimes with heart disease there is a mucasey cough that lasts for months, are you healthy? have you checked your cholesterol? and bp?
Avatar f tn Myocardial infarction pain is characteristically crushing retrosternal chest pain which may move to arms, shoulder, neck, teeth, jaw, belly area or back. This can be squeezing, lasting for 20 minutes. Rest and nitroglycerin may help relieve the pain to some extent. Other symptoms are anxiety, cough, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath etc. your doctor would like to check the cardiac enzymes like troponin and CPK, CPK MB.

Avatar f tn But as you are complaining of headaches and earache as well as chest pains, it sounds that you have an infection in your ear and chest. You would be wise to see a doctor to check your ear and chest for infections who may find that you may need a course of antibiotics. In the meantime you can take pain relief as recommended on the packet for your pains. Keep warm and drink plenty of fluids, avoiding milk products because the promote the production of mucus.
Avatar f tn Extreme crushing chest pain.
