I would think eventally the pain in the back would go away after heart surgery but mine, my- brother- in - law, my sister-in-law. We all have pain around our shoulder blades and around uner the arm around to the chest . It is very painfull. Do you know what causes this? It has been 9 years since my double by pass. and the inlaws are 6 and 5 years.

hi, had been in hell for past two weeks, I actually had anxiety for 2 years, suffering from alots of crazy symptom, but since 2weeks ago, my symptom get worsen, I kept waking in the night with pain in the chest behind my breast bone and lower part of my left rip bone ( below my breast), then I felt whole my body very hot. Now, my left back and neck also pain. Why does my symptom get worsen , am I really suffered from anxiety? Has anyone like that? Symptom change?
I do have big breast (post pregnancy), so in my pregnancy I suffer from upper back pain. But I also suffer from horrible lower back pain, I use heating pads. One on ny tail bone when I sit and another one inside my shirt, taped lol on my lower back area!! This seems to help a lot! A nice message is helpful as well, my husband gives me a back message before going to bed, life saving!! I have had back pain since around 14 weeks, I am now 33 weeks and 2 days, the pain definitely increased!!!
(ischial tuberosity on the left side) that began with severe back pain after I lifted a heavy piece of furniture 2 months ago. The back pain went away in 2 days, but the "sit bone" pain continues. My GP ordered an L/S spinal MRI which was negative and said I did not need a pelvic MRI. I am worried about a bone metastasis and have 2 questions: 1) Should I now contact my oncologist and ask for more tests, and which tests should I ask for, a bone scan?
I had breast cancer (double mast) in Aug. 2007. At that time, my bone scans and ct scans showed nodules on my lungs and a spot on my spine. The chemo took care of the lungs, but none of my doctors ordered another bone scan. But they sure ordered the PET scans (for my lungs, I smoke). The PETS have always been good. Then this past October, I had severe pain in my back (thoracic). My oncologist ordered plain old xrays and they concluded it was osteoarthritis.
A close friend has been having lower back pain for many months with pain in her legs as well but the intensity and side of the leg pain changes.
The orthopedist sent her for a bone scan which came back positive with pathological uptake in L2, a number of areas of her right anterior ribs, her sternum and her left breast.
She went for a mammogram and ultrasound which were both negative. She also went to a gynecologist and nothing gynelogical was found.
Hi I am unmarried, 28 years old, periods - regular but scanty. Since last 4-5 months I am feeling pain in right side ribs, back & breast. Pain is not sharp however it feels like pulled muscle. Sometime I do feel like there is something in lower part of my breast , hoever I m not sure if that is lump or my bone (as I am thin, my weight is 50kg height 157 cm) I do have feeling that I have breast cancer however avoiding sonography because I am very scared of being diagnosed with cancer.
It got better for sometime but started again. Now the situation is that one day I have pain in my arm, neck, upper back, shoulder and breast on the right side and next day on the left side. The pain gets better with rest. I had a good sleep last night, was cautious of my sleep position so there was pain in the morning.
I am concerned that why isn't it going away? Can someone help me?
I had breast cancer, operation to remove lumps and nodes removed. I had 6x chemo treatments and 6 weeks of radiation. 12 years later I still suffer from chronic joint pain which becomes all over pain by the end of the day. I drag myself to work, and collapse on my bed after work. At times I wonder if it was worth the treatment, as I am so sore I am not able to do much. I take pain medication to get through the day. Have any other sufferers any advice re: new meds to treat the pain.
I went in with a terrific pain under my right rib and lower right side of my back. The back pain has been there several months. My pancreas levels were elevated to a like a 368, so they treated me with no food and iv's for pancreitis. My basic blood tests levels for the liver were normal.
They said the ultra sound showed gallstones but the MRI didn't show any outside the gallbladder but recommended I have the surgery anyway.
I am 30 years old, was diagnosed with IDC grade 2 stage 1 a year ago. I have a spot in my back that hurts every time it is touched, not when I move. The pain isn't bad. This has been going for about 3 weeks. I was sent for a chest x-ray, which came out looking normal. My question is whether xray is sensitive enough, or if I should ask for some other test to be done in order to eliminate BC as the cause for this pain?
What is the method to look for a bone metastases from breast cancer? I have had awful pain in my right arm/shoulder for 4 months. MRI showed torn biceps tendon and other small bursal tears and tendonitis, and a rotator cuff tear. Would a bone metastases have been revealed on the MRI of my arm and shoulder? Should I ask for a bone scan? I am 57 years old and have been cancer free since a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis 8 years ago. I am worried that the pain does not go away.
I get this ach pain right under my left breast that scares me because i dont know if its my heart or a hiatal hernia..The pain is brought on by movements sometimes like if i turn my body to fast, or if i bend over. i also get it alot after meal. Does anyone get this same pain under the left breast bone and knows what it is?
I'm 32 weeks exactly and I keep having what feels like a bone pop in my back upper bum area like it hurts so bad it causes me to completly stop moving
And almost fall over in pain. It happened to me about4 or 5 times in a row after I finished dinner. It hurts but I can handle it. It just scares me.
Now for the past week around 8 pm I start to have back pain on the inside of my shoulder which radiates into my right breast and into the middle of my chest between my breast bone. Not sure how this relates to my esophagus. I have made an appointment with my Dr but would like some relief in the meantime.
