I'm only 24+3 and for the last week and half I can't sit or lay on either side without this horrible pressure of pain under my left ribs.. It doesn't feel like his foot stuck up under there but I can't do anything bout it. Mom said it could be my organs needing a place to go and they chose there... Anyone else have this?? How far along were/are you? And how did you make it go away?!?!?!?

I have been having back pain around my right scapula for 10 months. About 5 months ago I went to a ortho back dr. and he said it was a pinched nerve. I did physical therapy for 3 months but it didn't seem to help. About a month ago I had ab cramping in between my ribs. Now the pain in my back is going around under my arm and into my chest and ribs. I've gained a few pounds within a few weeks, my stomach seems distended and i have frequent loose stools, but not much gas. My general dr.

I had severe pain under my right ribs, they took out my gallbladder. I am still having the pain. I went back to the surgeon and they did blood work. The Dr. said the pain was coming from my liver but all the blood work came back normal. He also told me prior to having my gallbladder removed that my spleen was slightly enlarged. What could be causing the pain?? Are there other test that I should have done??

ll be my lower back but today this pain is right under neath my ribs causing my ribs and back to ache. Its so horrible to encounter and I can't seem to find a way to ease it Or feel comfortable when it's time for bed. I tried having my fiance give me a massage to see if it'll ease off the pain and pressure but it didn't. I didn't experience anything likebthis with my first pregnacy so it's a bit much for me.

hi ive had pain under both my ribcages seems like a heavy feeling, its worse on the right side and when i breathe in deep my left side feels weird almost as if something is stretching, im getting an upper GI endoscopy soon but all my blood work has turned up normal, ive also been very constipated lately for about 3 wks and my symptoms all started with mild heartburn that went away and is now mainly the ribcage pain and the constipation, i also belch all the time...any ideas on what it might be?

As well as 3 days worth of diazepam I have been given acid tablets as when the doc pressed my stomach under front ribs it shot pain through to the back, and have to go back after a week to tell the doctor how I feel. 3 days later, the pain is tremendous although the muscle spasm/locked muscle top of back has gone completely due to the diazepam.

I finished my carbo/taxol treatments in August, but I am still having pain under my ribs and in my back.....and it is worse when I am sitting. Any thoughts?

I am a 41 year old female. I got large exernal piles suddenly at the end of June. I had a hemmoidectomy to have them removed. A routine colonoscopy 3 weeks ago revelead non specifc inflamation of colon, but bloods were fine as was biopsy. Over past two weeks, I have continuous, low grade 'hot' pain under my ribs on the left hand side. I also have painful bowel movements with some blood. I was told to come back for an abdominal ct scan.

The rib pain could be some of your organs getting moved around or possibly the baby being up in your ribs. My daughter loves my ribs and bladder area under my belly button. I'm 33 weeks today btw so I know what your definitely going thru and it does hurt.

Since approximately 2005 I have had a dull aching pain that would come and go under my right ribs. It started as a mild discomfort but, over the past year it has gotten extremely worse. It is a sharp and gnawing type pain that, at times, make me feel like I cannot get a good breath. I cannot say what makes it worse. It seems to not have much of a pattern.
