I've had some spinal problems for many years and my primary sent me for xrays...I just didn''t realize how many 55! xrays ... (45 normal ones then I had to repeat some) they had to hold me up for some lol and then sit me in a chair when I started to faint; I just can't stand very long...the poor woman who had to do the films I feel bad for; I scared her.

I have my motion xrays now!!! I have to wait till next monday so the specialist can judge them.during and after the xray i had a total flare up of symptoms.i am so curious,but will have to wait a bit...

I was told that dental xrays are safe to have done, its normal xrays that youve got to be careful with and even then if those are needed there is precautions they can take x

the results were, my heart was ok, blood tests ok, xrays ok but the xrays showed there was something at the bottom of the lungs (white film as shown by xrays) but doctor couldnt figured it out, "assumed" bacteria infection so he prescribed antibotics. Ive taken the antibotics but cant tell if it works. I get the shortness of breath still. So bad, that I took ephreda pills 48grams and it seems to open up the airways, excessive Epedra can be bad on the kidneys...

When I talk to my doctor about it he blows me off and says it is muscular. He has not ordered any x-rays and I can not have an MRI due to a pacemaker. What can I do??? Is there any hope for me???

Can you tell me what the "gold" standard of diagnosing HOCM or Obstructed Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is? I've been reading about it and it seems to be a very difficult disease to diagnose. Can it cause Polymorphic VT episodes? I had several tests that showed I had many problems which have gone unexplained and local doctors have not been able to find the answers.

good you ask me.. my pacemaker is set to 80beats and I'm 100% depend on my pacemaker.. i have a Medtronic this my 2nd. pacemaker... my first Medtronic pacemaker i had it for 18 yrs. until the doctor turn it down than it didn't work good.. had to get a new one.. in Dec. it will be 2yrs. i had my pacemaker check last week and i find out the doctor that put my pacemaker in didn't set my pacemaker for life depend.. Good news is now my pacemaker is set for it not to be ever turn off..

The pacemaker itself should not be a deterent from having an ablation. I've had a pacemaker for 6 years (because of an ablation actually), and then had another ablation about a year ago. Unfortunately, the ablations don't work for me, but I have IST, not SVT so hopefully they're more effective for that.
