t accept my insurance, so they asked if they could refer her to Dr. Jane Jr at UVA Pediatric Neurosugery, they accept my insurance. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with him? I know he is an awesome surgeon, but I am finding little on him performing any decompression surgeries.

His ejection rate is 25% and the cardiologist wants him seen by as specialist to consider a biventricular pacemaker with defibrillator. He had indicated that he has left ventricular cardiomyopathy that might be a separate condition and not secondary to the valve issues. He also has left bundle branch block. My husband had surgical complications as well as anemia and is an asthmatic and so I am concerned regarding invasive procedures.

good you ask me.. my pacemaker is set to 80beats and I'm 100% depend on my pacemaker.. i have a Medtronic this my 2nd. pacemaker... my first Medtronic pacemaker i had it for 18 yrs. until the doctor turn it down than it didn't work good.. had to get a new one.. in Dec. it will be 2yrs. i had my pacemaker check last week and i find out the doctor that put my pacemaker in didn't set my pacemaker for life depend.. Good news is now my pacemaker is set for it not to be ever turn off..

Oh Jane, I am so sorry that you have to go through this. I can't offer you any words of wisdom or any great magical saying, just my prayers and support. I just truly hate seeing this phase, like "we" are so desperately seeking help and will try almost anything, but this beast of a disease is absolutely consuming. I hate it, and I am so sorry Jane. Please don't give up hope.

The pacemaker itself should not be a deterent from having an ablation. I've had a pacemaker for 6 years (because of an ablation actually), and then had another ablation about a year ago. Unfortunately, the ablations don't work for me, but I have IST, not SVT so hopefully they're more effective for that.
