Avatar n tn When the 1st headache occured her eye became painful and swollen and the doctor thought she had iritis. Her intern then diagnosed her with Cluster Headaches and put her on Topamax but she could not tolerate the side effects. Now , 6 weeks later, she is having some tingling with the headache--at the base of spine and also down her arms and legs (no numbness). She is trying to get in to see a neurologist and get a cat scan or MRI. What do you think is going on.
Avatar f tn Ok, I know the cardiologist says its ok, he's done hundreds and the pacemaker rep will be there and they will turn off the pacemaker and then turn it back on later, but I am still soooooo nervous. They are only going to do a 1.5 with contrast....... Should I relax? I've scanned the internet and so many articles are so old or contradict others Anyone have this done yet?
Avatar m tn Hi, appreciate your help in responding so fast, what are the symptoms of herpes, hpv and Syphilis. Do i need to look out for them? as per my above question, I had unprotected oral sex couple of days ago...
Avatar n tn Hi deff get the HA checked out....there r so many reasons to have these symptoms....only a complete exam can reveal what is going on.
Avatar f tn lol ok I changed it to female (I thought it was ha ha) but thanks for the answers, yes I just had a std test done a few days ago and of course am anxiously awaiting the answers, though I have been tortured by the thought of having herpes for years.... like how do you bring that up in a conversation when you really really like someone...
3151606 tn?1420356612 Ha ha ha_______At last I find out solution __after taking disopen and Sotalex 80 ,,,,I felt so tired and it made me understand that "this drugs won't help me" . And I thought about pacemaker ,,," it's my last chance " . Every doctor of our country said also about pacemaker . I search everything about bradycardia and pacemaker and find noting helpful .
Avatar m tn I was having severe headaches after an ablation and found out I was having junctional rhythms and had to have a pacemaker. I had them even after the pacemaker but the doctor reprogrammed my pacemaker and that helped. Maybe some adjustments just need to be made. They told me it would take a few times before they got it right.
Avatar f tn It ha been 3-4 years since I had this cluster of flesh-colored bumps on the inner surface of my foreskin. It doesn't itches and it doesn't spread, it just stays there. It is miniature, can by notice only when I retract my foreskin. It doesn't have any pus or liquid. But it is really irritates me when I look at it. Does any one know what it is?
390388 tn?1279636213 Thank you for answering my question. You seem to really understand the heart. I was quite shocked by your comment; but, I feel very honored to have it answered by you. I have been putting down my medical test results in my "Journal". My Doctor never told me that anything was wrong on any of my EKGs. I found out by requesting my medical reports after being frustrated really bad in February of this year. I have uploaded the pictures of them to view.
Avatar m tn Towards the end of April I was given unprotected oral sex for no more that a minute or two by a girl I met at a bar. By the End of June a grey cluster appeared on my foreskin. I've had this sore on my penis for all of July, August and currently. I have not had sex since the oral sex. I do remember having flu like symptoms sometime back and am guessing the sore appeared after that 1 or two day sickness. I've had this grey cluster/sore on my foreskin for nearly 11 weeks.
Avatar f tn It is difficult to diagnose the cause of headaches on net. Sinusitis, refractive errors of the eye, migraine, cluster headaches, brain tumors, high blood pressure, temporal arteritis, pinched cervical spinal nerve, tension headaches, poor or disturbed sleep etc are several causes of headaches. Dental pain and ear ache can cause similar symptoms. Please consult a headache and migraine specialist to rule out these causes one by one. Take care!
Avatar f tn s opinion and asking for referrals to local headache centers that focus on cluster headaches may indeed be helpful. Cluster headache usually responds to similar migraine preventative drugs and can often be brought under better control temporarily by steroids or nerve blocks. Many patients also respond to inhaled 100 percent oxygen while others benefit from topical anesthetic applied inside the nose, injected or nasal triptans.
Avatar m tn The pain was extremely painful and hard to cope. I was wondering if this is a cluster headache and if so, is there any way to relieve the pain? I also had a minor one last night and when I woke up this morning, for some reason, both my eyes hurt a lot. Not like the normal "arg it's bright" pain. More like getting soap in the eye type of pain, just without the irritation to cause tearing.
Avatar f tn I waited an hour before going to the ER. I have great bp...usually 125/something low...ha ha...and normal bad cholesterol of 130. I'd never seen a cardiologist whereas my older siblings all had. Turns out via an angiogram that I had two arteries blocked. The left descending was blocked at 70% and the left diagonal was blocked at 90%. I received 2 stents. Now they are testing me for the Lipo Protein A gene( which my dad had and my sister has) and I will finally have a stress test next week.
Avatar f tn Yes, I am not, but there are many people that have HF without HA. There are many medical conditions that produce it. Going back to normal life it depends very much of what is the reason of your HF and your personal circumstances (age, sex, race (yes black skin is bad for HF))... However, if go get a good cardiologist specialized in HF, and follow strictly his indications, you can have many years ahead.
Avatar f tn Finally had my little girl only 11 days late ha 8 pound 3 and she was born at 13.
Avatar m tn :-) So Sorry, but I can't resist!!! My eldest son is a bit of a goof ball at times. He'll do anything to get me to laugh. Anyway, he has equally goofy taste in TV shows, no blood gore or other nonsense, just plain goofy. So he calls me into the room just now and says "Daddy, you have to watch this..." I looked and seen the show and said No, I don't. He said "Yes, you DO! This is about something you get all the time." So I watched for him...
