) im not really doing a theme its alot of work plus i have over 250 guests lol so its pretty much a big party with food a dj and its gonna be lime green n baby blue and i got table arrangements with those colors and a lil baby boy on top :) and ballons in those colors lol im not gonna do any games cause its too many ppl lol but if my party had less guests where i could of done games and a theme i would of done a jungle or zoo theme :)

Hii,I Attended a friends engagement party 8 days back.he had kept dj along with laser show...i was dancing unaware of the frequency of the lights...at one moment while dancing i felt a strong burning in my eye when the light beam was strong..i didnot pay much attention...right now my eyes are becoming watery,m vision is getting blurr and i am getting excessive blinking and headaches...please guide me as to wht should i do.

Something tells me you are awesome about remembering family members birthdays & sending cards :) I have a birthday that is unforgetable - September 11th! I was pregnant with Cassie when the planes crashed & killed all those innocent people. One of my friends from school was in the WTC that day - she was at the same point in her pregnancy as I was. That was a terrible day - who could celebrate with all that tragedy!

Im not big on playing baby guessing games for 4 hrs straight , my family loves music and dancing guess what im asking is , is it normal to play like 2-4 games open gifts and have a dj after ( not really biv on this specific tradition )

DJ is in a serious medical crisis and currently in ICU. She has been there since Tuesday and I have been waiting to know more before telling you this news. You probably remember that she recently had her morphine pump exchanged for a different unit. Unknown to the surgeon, she has an extensive abdominal and bladder infection.

Cat, indeed! Poor DJ has been through so much! I'm glad she called you, and, DJ, if you're lurking, I send lots of love and hugs, and wishes for speedy recovery.

I have a concern as far as hearing my baby cry when I give birth because as it is I love sleep. Ok? I'm a super heavy sleeper. I mean heavy. A hurricane can pass us by and the house can rattle and there could be a party with a DJ outside and I'm like "whoah when did this happen?" I can't hear anything. My dogs can bark because they hear knocking and I'm like nope. Lol. Does this change at all?!

Hey everyone - here's the news. DJ and her daughter Lori are on a United flight out of LAX Saturday morning, 10:30ish. It is a direct flight to PA, so no layovers. Please keep a positive thought, say a prayer, spin around three times and spit - whatever it is you do! LOL - that they have a safe journey and encounter kind, compassionate workers at LAX, in the security line, on the flight and arrive intact and in good spirits in Pennsylvania.

DJ continues to be a guest of the hospital in Arcadia. They removed the intrathecal morphine pump last week. The spot where the lines went into her spine continue to leak spinal fluid, so they are going to do a blood patch on Monday. Here's hoping it helps. They have not yet found a way to handle her pain that she gets from the extreme spasms she experiences, and she is relying on the oral morphine to take the edge off. The movers come Monday morning for her household goods.

I had lost hope in having a baby shower after my husband had said we weren't having one but there was a twist after today. Today was my husband's newphew's party & this lady that knows my husband & his brother for yrs loves them both like if they were her sons & I met her for the 1st time today. Since she saw my belly she started saying she's going to plan my babyshower next month & changed our date for Saturday Oct. 18.

I am so glad you were able to make it over to see DJ. What a special day you both must have had. DJ looks like she is feeling better and G-d willing this new neuro will be able to help her with the pain. I hope DJ will tell us about her experience with the sitting MRI. I've heard of it before but don't know a single person who has done it yet. Sounds better than lying down. She'll do great. Love to you both.
