Avatar f tn the expired NY photo ID, her Medicare card, her birth certificate, her SS card, High School diploma, her SSI award statement, life insurance policy, and an affidavit of residency from her mother. Well this turned out to be not enough for the passport agency and we were contacted for additional documents. At this point, the only thing we had left was her High School photo ID. So we resent the SS Card and Medicare card with the High School ID and are waiting to hear.

1188123 tn?1264478887 s became frequent and bothersome almost immediately after the pacemaker was implanted. I use to be a runner, a ran track and cross country in high school. I refuse to run these days because of the amount of PVC's I experience post exercise. I ALWAYS get PVC's about 3-5 hours post cardio exercise. Depending on how severe my PVC's are will determine how soon I will suffer from an SVT attack. I usually go into SVT for about 5 minutes and then the PVC's are gone.
Avatar m tn m not familiar with), they determined he needed the pacemaker. I remember him being on a high salt, high caffeine diet and he was still having trouble getting his HR into the 80's during exercise. They finally determined his problem was not really a heart problem, but an Autonomic Nervous System problem that seemed to have been attacked by a virus. The ANS was not getting the correct signals to his heart. He does very well with his pacemaker. Wishing the best for your son and family!
Avatar f tn m in my final year of high school and I really need my head in the right place so that I can do well and achieve my dreams. Please help me, it's hard to know who to turn to. Even just tips on helping me manage the "anxiety" if that's what it is, would be very much appreciated...
Avatar f tn She called him a coward for not getting up in high school and accepting his achievement award. (He was too anxious) This is only the tip of the iceburg and she does things like that on a daily basis. Today was so bad my son talked of suicide, which of course I helped in through. Can we get any help or do we have to be beat ???
Avatar n tn He hopes to run track in three weeks, (distance events) and I know he will not be cleared for this. Would a pacemaker help him resume his normal life? Is there any chance he could be stabilized and able to run Crossy county in the fall, which will be his senior year of high school? Is there anything else which could be done to help him at this time?
880242 tn?1241283005 I thought I would never hear my name being called out for a random award among so many students in High School. And there I was called. There are no words to express to describe myself. My self esteem bloomed into a young adult. I felt like everyone else for once. I took that award home so proud. My parents were so proud of what I had become as well for me. My happiness was lived short term. After about a month I started to have strange emotions in the evenings.
326176 tn?1239515689 Presently I am advised Electrophysiological study and pacemaker implantation, followed by CAG cath. The irregualarity in heart rhythm is not troubling me much except when I lie down to sleep in the night. My question : Do I have to submit myself to the above mentioned procedures on an emergency basis OR Will I be able to postpone it further.(for obvious reasons including lack of funds).?

Avatar n tn My normal pulse rate with out pacemaker is 54 ppm. My dual lead pacemaker is set at 70 ppm, some people with pacemakers have the pacemaker rate set below their normal heart Resting rate Ex. normal rate 50 ppm Pacemaker set at 45 ppm. Avatar f tn Eating too much of one type and not eating another type will usually cause deficiencies. Simple award techniques like eating one thing of your choice and one of his will get him something usually works with a 14 year old. If these tricks don't help, then you need to discuss this with his pediatrician and school counselor. Take care!

Avatar f tn My blood pressure has been running low around 80/60 and heart rate 93 I get a dizzy feeling when this happens and my heart feels like it is going to pop out of my chest. Could this because they have my pacemaker set so high, before the pacemaker my heart rate was in the 40's.
Avatar n tn In August this year I had a pacemaker implanted (3 lead MEDTRONIC C2TRO1) The rate was set at 90 and although relieved that I would not go out of sinus I did not feel well, suffering insomnia, short of breath with almost any sort of exercise. I went last week for my 6 weeks check up and the rate was set at 75. This has improved my awareness of the heart beating but I do not sleep much better, am very tired and a small flight of stairs means that I an beating around 87. Can the rate be lowered?
Avatar m tn In 2013 I had an AV Node ablation. I am pacer dependent. In 2015 my pacemaker was upgraded to a Bi-V due to "pacemaker syndrome". Since that time I have periods of extremely irregular heartbeats. These can last up to 8 hours. Various medical professionals have checked my pulse during these periods and confirm what I already knew. I do not understand why the pacemaker does not prevent these periods of IHB.
Avatar n tn She has to be careful to know what to avoid with having a pacemaker. High power lines can actually cause the pacemaker to stop working and then she would need to get another one.
Avatar n tn My pacemaker was put in april 2004. I have no doctor and no insurance. How do I know when my battery needs to be changed and what do I do since I have no insurance? This discussion is related to pacemaker/hypertension.
511019 tn?1214337323 She rarely complains, but I worry about her becoming depressed. She barely made it through high school, but I know she wants to go to college. She is also on social security because her illness prevents her from working. She has been doing better since we started on the Midodrine, but faints almost immediately as it's wearing off. Does anyone else have that problem with Midodrine?
Avatar n tn My daughter had a duel chamber pacemaker for years without any difficulty from that pacemaker at all and she had very severe heart disease that eventually ended with a transplant. She was having presyncope and syncope and went into shock the one time the doctors had the gutds to do the tiltr test on her. With a pacemaker you may have a two inch scar from the insert, but so what??? Are you more concerned about a scar at your age or dying?
