When it comes to food, the dry mouth of Sjögren’s syndrome is not the only thing that many of us have to worry about. GERD, celiac disease, allergies and lactose intolerance, to name a few, can compound the problems of finding something you can eat when away from home. Here are some of my ideas about preparing for a day out, a trip or a quick errand.

i think my body is used to the oxycontin and when i have a flareup, only ibuprophen seems to help, not more oxycontin or oxyfast. I used to use oxyfast when i had a flareup but i don't get them like that anymore. ergo, either i am in fact over the worst of the fibromyalgia and can get by with ibuprofen or i am on the right maintenance dose and will simply have to live with the oxycontin daily as i have been for 8 years. no way to know until i go for it.
My mom had a similar sensation, but she wasn't in wd's. She had a bunch of tests and it turned out to be acid. She was told to take Prilosec and it was the only thing that helped. Dr said she wasn't elevating her head enough at night and the acid was bothering her throat and causing that feeling during the day. Might not be the same thing, but it couldn't hurt to try.
The hospital staff said I neede to stop all blood thinnig drugs (aspirin, fish oil, advil, etc) but did not say anything about pain mends (
m right and these headaches are being caused by the analgesics the only solution I see here is to somehow wean totally off the oxycontin. The bone and muscle pain is unbearable and I cannot walk without the oxycontin but the headaches incapacitate me too. I don't want to simply exist. I want to participate in life.
They put me on lots of pain meds including morphine, percocet and oxycontin. I am home and have to go to PT twice weekly which is quite painful. I went to my surgeon on 11/2 and he said to wean off of oxycontin and oxycodone. He didn't explain how to go about that. My husband cut the oxycontin in half and I took that once at night and once in the morning for 3 days. When I thought about the next steps to get off the oxycodone, I thought to call the pharmacy for advice.
Hi...many with GERD also have IBS issues, and it is possible to have both and that anxiety play a role in both, how often u have them and how severe they will be.
U should have all ur vitamin and mineral levels checked, vit D, B12, magnesium and potassium....but Vit D and magnesium work hand in hand and are much needed to aid in digestion and elimination.
My cardiologist tells me that my heart arrhythmias are triggered by the fact that I have GERD and a large hiatal hernia. My G.P. now wants me to see a surgeon about a procedure to repair the hernia and wrap part of the stomach thus preventing reflux. I was diagnosed with gerd about a week ago. I've been experiencing Nausea while eating and burping lately, with diarrhea and change in bowel movements and color of stool..has anyone been having these same symptoms?
