Medications, and other things can cause seizures, this is not the same as Epilepsy. Epilepsy is caused by an electrical discharge that can only be seen with an EEG. You still may be having symptoms of anxiety or you may be feeling the "aura" that many epilepsy sufferers experience just prior to a seizure. Hi, I'm 15 and I was diagnosed with nocturnal partial frontal lobe epilepsy about three months ago. Hello I have had migraines and epilepsy from the age of 2. I find that I get migraines a week before my periods and the first few days. Stress, emotion and lack of sleep triggers migraines and seizures. Since I was put on keppra and tegretol 2003 I don't have so much seizures anymore. If your seizures are well-controlled now, I do not believe that they will increse due to relapses. My sister-in-law had epilepsy all of her life and did seem to have an increase in her seizures when she was under great periods of stress. I have had many good years without any panic attacks but have had trouble within the last six months with severe anxiety and panic. I am taking buspar 10mg three times daily and Xanax 10mg as needed within an eight hour period. Should I request an eeg from my doc just to see if there is anything abnormal? I have epilepsy as well and am looking for info on hgh and epilepsy. My keppra (valproic acid) works pretty well for my grand mals but i still have petit mal seizures on occasion in the morning. I am on a combination of Tegretol and Topamax and my seizures are mostly under control. However my family and friends continually blame stress as a major cause of my seizures. I, too, had Rolandic Epilepsy as a child, and around the same time I was diagnosed with ADD. It is a fact that Rolandic epilepsy is associated with mild attention disorders, and oddly enough, difficulty with drawing pictures. After a brief exam I was referred back to my neuro who just informed me they dx me with epilepsy. From what I read how could I have been dx with epilepsy and is epilepsy something that can be misdiagnosed as MS. I am very confused and looking for some answers.

The hospital staff said I neede to stop all blood thinnig drugs (aspirin, fish oil, advil, etc) but did not say anything about pain mends (Oxycontin 4mg 2x day and Norco for the breakthrough pain (10 - 50 mg per day depending) Can I take the pain meds right up to the surgery?

Ever since taking Kepra 500mg twice a day I no longer get aroused and thus no erection at all. Tried Viagra and other such stimulants with no results.

All of these drugs will case physical dependence and in some people can lead to addiction.

m right and these headaches are being caused by the analgesics the only solution I see here is to somehow wean totally off the oxycontin. The bone and muscle pain is unbearable and I cannot walk without the oxycontin but the headaches incapacitate me too. I don't want to simply exist. I want to participate in life.
