I took 2 10mg tabs on Tuesday how will stay in my system, I will be getting a test on Monday will it show up
I have been taking 20mg Oxycodone a day for almost 8 years. I have noticed my hair started to thin out, about 1/3 of my hair has been falling out in the past 3 years. With No pattern baldness, also my hair is dry. I am 65 years old. There is No type of baldness in my family or on my mother's or father's side. I can see broken and small hairs where it looks thin. Will it grow back after I stop taking oxycodone, and how long will I notice some results? Thank You.
I became addicted to oxycodone 15mg in 2012 after my first back surgery, obviously I was on them while I was in the hospital for 7days after surgery then took them for about 4 days once I got home. I tried to stop and became sick and realized I was addicted. I go to a pain clinic for my chronic pain. Since then I had surgery on my elbow and just 2 weeks ago I had another back surgery. My oxycodone has never been upped in dosage so of course it doesn't help with the pain.

I think what has happened in your case, is that your pain relief medication, Oxycodone has had some issues in side effects very similar to being hypo. I do wonder why you were on it in the first place?
I am wondering your question about Prednisone; if you took it years ago, and you noticed hair growth, are you losing hair now and considering taking it again to regrow your hair? If so, I would highly advise not to.
00 i was in worse pain than usual, and I was givine a roxy 30 from a friend, I took half then at 12 i took the other. well of course today tuesday morning at 9:30 i got urned tested at my dr. appointment at the pain clinic, they send the urine off to the lab, will the roxy 30 show up in my urine, I knew better than to take that pill that was not mine, I take a water pill a day for my bloodpressure and I pee a lot, so could i get lucky and it not show up in my urine.
Also had temperature of 103. The pneumonia was in left lung and turned to Empyema pus in lung. After thoracotomy I became septic. I was in the hospital for 30 days. Four months later I am experiencing sharp pain in left shoulder blade and above left breast. Also feel like I am wearing a concrete vest on left side. Lung X-ray and CT Scan show no problem. Now taking Oxycodone but it does nothing. Being of positive mind I hope this "healing pain" goes away at some point.

I've been on this combonation of Meds for 2 years. Pain relief is just okay. If I'm active at all, i.e.: bath, wash hair, fix hair, dress, make-up THEN I can't go where I need to go for UP pain level n have to lie town on ice or just lie down. The other problem is this medication has made me SO LAZY. I don't want to do anything. I've been on medication off. On since I was 30 n I'm 60 years old. I have a messed up spine.
With regular use of oxycodone containing pain medicines,most urine drug screens should remain positive for oxycodone for 1-2 days and in some rare cases 3 days. A small percentage of ppl metabolize oxycodone more rapidly than normal, but this should not affect the ability of the screen to detect the drug in urine.
You physician can answer this question more accurately.
Even with this withdrawal-ease stuff which does help during the day cause I havent been down to 4 or 5 10mg oxycodone in 3 or 4 years but still doesnt help in morning. Anyone know why that is.
Since August 2010 I have been in the hospital 9 times. I had a gastric bypass in Nov 2007 and had done well until last summer. I developed a bleeding ulcer, lost down to 91 pounds and have been on several medications. Many of them were antibiotics. Is it possible that antibiotics would cause the false negative? I've researched and found a few articles but nothing that pertains to Oxycodone. If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.
I'm 20 years old, and my doctor said that I'm still gonna have one more growth spurt because my torso isn't proportionate to my legs yet. You can tell because my shoulders are narrow, I have peach fuzz in the form of chest hair, and it still looks like a young teen boy's torso. My Dr. said it's a very common occurrence for males to first have a growth spurt in their legs when they're around 14 or 15 and their torso doesn't grow until late teens/ early twenties.
Prednisone causes hair loss. This may not be true if it is used to cause an infection that results in hair loss. It most certainly cannot regrow hair if you have thyroid and adrenal malfunctions. I used prednisone and inhaled steroids and for COPD, It not only resulted in hair loss, but CAUSED me to have an adrenal problem. I got off that junk and now rely on natural anti-inflammatories.
i was prescribed oxycodone 5mg or tabs 2 at a time for back pain and cyclobenzaprine 10mg i was having severe pain so i took 2 oxycodone and 2 of the cyclobenzaprines and also 2 hydrocodone 5/500's i have a high tolerance for pain killers but i want to know if i am in any danger?

I have had my medication show up in my urine in an hour and forty minutes or so.. I assume it would show up in your second urine after having taken your medication. Did you save a pill for your monthly urine test? If you did, then you are one of the people causing us legitimate patients all sorts of grief. I can't think of any other reason why it would be so important that it show up in a hurry other than the one I stated. I don't know what else to say.........
