Hi mpace6983, all I can say is I had the same problem with Tramadol and I also got insomnia from Tramadol and hydrocodone. So, I think you could try Valium but that is stronger I think. Maybe you have a cross reaction with another drug too? I know you will get a better answer on this site. Good luck and hope your pain gets better.

It seems as if yur not on them long enough to really give you a chance, and taking you off 40mg of valium and methadone in 2 weeks is far to quick no wonder you relapsed. SSRI anti-depressents can cause suicidal ideations as an adverse side effect.. I am not sure if there is a direct interaction with Valium. However, if someone has bipolar as you stated clearly an SSRI alone could easily induce mania and Valium can be personality altering and worsen that effect. These are safe medications to take of course but have the potential of these adverse side effects and an anti-depressent alone, especially an SSRI would worsen bipolar.

been taking Adderall valium and oxycodone for 12 years all drug tests have shown compliance. now I got a false neg and cant get medicine when I took them as prescribed. what could cause that? tried cbd oil but nothing else, the blood test said I didn't take the valium and adderal and a small amt of oxycodone. hey hun, I'm sorry i just do not have knowledge of valium, i was opiates and klonopin and xanax. If it is anything like the benzo's i detoxed from it took me about 30 days or so, with that being said it did get a little bit better everyday. Hopefully someone will come around to help ya. HELP. I was in rehab....I checked myself in. I was taking 6 to 7 of the 30mg oxycodones per day (from pain management....I'm 'not addicted but dependent' according to the doc bc I took as prescribed. I know some people who have been prescribed valium and they had a positive experience with it. I believe that it is a longer acting benzo than other short acting ones that are taken on as needed basis. t take it away but make life a little bit easier. I also take Tizanadine and oxycodone for flare ups. In the morning I start taking Savella the new Fibromyalgia medication. My Rheumatologist gave me a four week starter pack of Savella today. I'm really nervous to take this medication because both Cymbalta and Lyrica were horrible medications for me. Well, I took Lortab the morning before I picked up the new prescription because I was going to do pool exercises and need something for the pain. I picked up the Oxycodone before going home and took one that afternoon and one that evening and did fine. Keep in mind it was 7 AM that morning that I took the last lortab (2 7.5/325). The next morning I woke up having horrible back and leg pain so I took one of the Oxycodone (5mg/325) it didn't touch the pain!

Hypothyroid does cause high blood pressure, but I would think your side effects are caused by the Dilaudid and Valium are you taking all this medication at the same time, it could be an interaction, why are you taking the Dilauded and valium, if they are prescribed for depression, then I would stop taking them, your depression is caused by your thyroid, once you get your thyroid balanced, you should have no need for those types of drugs, they can make you dependant and just cause more issues.

Yes there could be an effect and certainly an interaction with your current medications. Make sure the oral surgeon and all doctors involved are aware of your full prescription regimen and go through any potential interactions as well as voicing your concern of any of them worsening mania or depression.
