my doc thinks that the spotting in the middle of the month was ovulation spotting...and that on the 2nd was my period. because on the 21st of april she did a pap..and the 2nd of May she removed a IUD. so she saw what was kinda going on. so when do i count?

Use ovulation predictor kits, but also chart your cycles and when you ovulate for the next few months. If you haven't had success in 6 months, follow up with your GYN and make sure that there are no hormonal imbalances that are causing your irregular cycles. definetly learn the signs of ovulation, track basal body temps (which is a pain lol), and use ovulation predictor kits. you could always see your dr. and they might be able to figure out why your periods are irregular.

I never had a 22-23 day cycle always 28-31. A normal cycle is considered like 28 days. Try using a ovulation predictor calendar then when ever it says you should be ovualating i would use ovulation kit and test each day in the 11 day time frame until you get a postive.

You can use the ovulation predictor kits which you uribate one and if you have a surge in hormones it will show whether you are fertile (ovulating) at that time or not. I'm trying to conceive more than a year &half.I am using the ovulation predictor , but i'm having midcycle spotting during the fertility and ovulation period , and very dark discharge before my menstruation. I'm really frustrated. My Dr.said nothing to worry about he did a blood test, ultrasound, popsmear, everything's ok. I asked him if I need to take clomid he said no need.
