746181 tn?1232917395 I am 37 years old and have been dealing with ovarian cysts since about 15 years old. When I first became pregnant at 26 I had several cysts on my right ovary. They all went away with the pregnancy, I have been for more ultrasounds then I can count, all with the same outcome, ovarian cyst either 1 or more ranging from 1cm to 4cm. I once had an 8 cm one that went away after a couple of cycles.
Avatar f tn Hi there, Sorry you are feeling so lousy... That sure isn't fun. I too have cysts with debris. They think the debris can be either blood, fat or calcium deposits. They usually will keep an eye on cysts to make sure they resolve. Sometimes depending on the size of the cyst they need to remove, they need a larger area than the scope will allow for the ovary to pass through, hence why you might need a laparotomy.
Avatar n tn The ultr sound from october showed the endometrium was 2 cm thick with a right ovarian cyst measuring 2.7 cm with two left cysts the largest being 3.1 with some internal debris. the second ultra is from jan, 14th my endometrium is noow 1.1 cm. the right cysts the largest is 3.1 and the second left side is 2.9 with some debris. mThe ultra sound guy says quote " bilateral ovarian cysts are identified some of hich are increased whearas others have decreased.
Avatar f tn I'm not an expert but it does look like she has two ovarian cysts with one being a dermoid cyst. These can cause a lot of symptoms and hopefully she is now set to get this dealt with. Do take a look at the health pages (top right) for info on types of cysts and symptoms. In her case it is likely they will use a laparoscope and remove the cysts. What did they say the next steps were? It is likely that MedHelp will move your posting to the Ovarian Cyst forum.
Avatar f tn Hi dear i have ultrasound yesterday and diagnose with hemorrhagic cysts .on my left ovary shows 4x4 cm with debris in it and septation... i had this pain on my left lower abdomen since 3 mnth and frequent urination since 2 years ago... is it possible to concieve in the future? Avatar f tn Have they done CT of your abdomen and pelvis, or an abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound? Possibly what he is talking about, with the cancer, is that some ovarian cysts are cancerous. It is a lot less common for it to be cancer tho. If they have done the CT or ultrasounds, how big is the cyst(s)? Are they fluid-filled, or do they show some type of debris, or septation? To give any more clear answers, we would need more information.
Avatar f tn The left ovary demonstrates a complex 1.4 cm follicle with internal debris, likely representing a functional cyst with debris or hemorrage"?
Avatar f tn Can anyone tell me what the diferrence is between ovca symptoms and endometriosis symptoms? I have an anovulatory uterus and the right adnexum is enlarged by a complicated cystic mass with internal septations and debris. My endometrium is 17mm. I am going crazy now waiting for a TAH/BSO on June 17th. I am now done with all the tests and just waiting for my pre-op appointment. I just wish I knew more of what this could be before I go to the OR. I want to be prepared as possible.
Avatar f tn MULTIPLE SEEDLING FIBROIDS IN THE UTERUS.BILATERAL OVARIAN CYSTS WITH DEBRIS- CHOCLATE CYST. This month from 4th day I am taking birth control pills (FEMILON). I had left side pain for 15 days even though I was on BCP, from past two days the pain has disappeared but lot of brown discharge. Is it the sign of resolving cyst. Hope my cyst size reduces. So iam worried. Shall I go for hysterectomy immediately or I can wait till October because my daughter has vacation that time.
Avatar f tn How are they different from functional ovarian cysts? A little background I have kept small cysts on and off for year in May of this year I went in and had a small (1.7 cm) cyst on my right ovary and was told it was a normal, functional cyst. Also, my uterine lining was very thick almost double it's normal size (12 cm). So agaist my wishes I went on micronor which is the mini pill to help break down the lining.
Avatar f tn Most ovarian cysts, even complex ones, are benign (non-cancerous). If you do not have a predisposition or family history of ovarian cancer then your lifetime risk is VERY LOW (less than 2%). Complex cysts sometimes resolve on their own but oftentimes have to be removed especially if they get too large (risk of ovarian torsion).
Avatar f tn ve had several ultrasounds and all of my u/s reports are confusing. First u/s showed bilateral ovarian cysts. Second u/s showed endometrium thickness of 9mm with bilateral ovarian cysts, hyperplasia, polyp, or even carcinoma, cervical nabothian cyst, etc.,.....after depo shot was given, the next u/s showed 7mm fibroid inside uterus, endometrium 3mm. Later, I could no longer tolerate depo shot after 6 months, due to huge red painful bruises that developed in my thighs and legs.
Avatar f tn They are cancer from the beginning or they are not. Complex cysts can have cancer within them along with benign features, making these cysts very hard to understand without surgery. More than likely it is a fluid filled cyst that stubbornly won't go away. If it is lowering your quality of life in any way, then surgery to remove it would be worthwhile.
Avatar f tn cystic right ovarian lesion with septation and questionable upper wal thickening. GYN consult recommended. I then had a pelvic ultrasound several days later and those results were: complex cystic mass, right ovary, most likely neoplastic. and also recommending GYN consult. More of the report stated: ovary measures 7.1 x 4.5 x 6.6cm with volume of 111ml. There is a complex avascular cystic mass within this ovary, which measures 6.3 x 6.0 x 3.5cm.
1427674 tn?1283107458 Some ovarian cysts are hormonally active and result in pseudopuberty (early physical signs of puberty) In girls with hormonally active cysts, the ovarian enlargement may be mistaken for an ovarian tumor, leading to unnecessary(surgery) . Girls presenting with premature vaginal bleeding and ovarian enlargement should be genetically evaluated An ovarian cyst in a toddler/young child is often discovered by a Dr.
Avatar f tn In April I was diagnosed with a complex ovarian mass thick walled with internal septations and arterial vascular flow... I had a follow 6 weeks later and the results say an ovarian mass eccentrically thick walled components with debris and the sonographer has said it is an unusual mass... She has recommended that I have a follow up 2 weeks later by MRI or ultrasound... But my gyn wants to wait a few more months? I'm a tad worried as this will make it 4 months of waiting...
Avatar f tn Hi, Since the radiologist recommended a follow-up in 6 months, then the BIRADS score assigned on all the tests you had, could be category 3,which means that there are no suspicious lesions, masses, or calcifications to report, but follow-up to confirm that no changes have occurred.A finding placed in this category should have a very high probability of being benign BIRADS is a quality control system, used by radiologists after interpreting mammograms, ultrasound and MRIs.
Avatar f tn It is possible that this pain is from something else or perhaps a fibroid or an ovarian remnant stayed on the left and now has a cyst. Yes, the symptoms for cysts and ovarian cancer can be quite similar. The CA 125 is quite unreliable, especially in pre-menopausal women. However, it can give some insight but definitely not a true indicator. I think it is time to get a second opinion and insist they rule out ovarian cancer.
Avatar f tn I had an ultrasound done and it came back saying I have a left adnexal mass possibly ovarian in origin which could possibly be a hemorrhagic cyst, endometrioma or dermoid. It is 10x5.1x6.1cm and there is a possibility of a left hydrosalpinx (blocked tube) with debris of blood or from inflammatory disease not excluded. This is a new finding or increased prior. Neoplastic disease not excluded.
Avatar f tn Due to my age, 60 and past history of endometriosis with cysts , a ablation, etc she is suspecting Endometroid OVCA. I have bilateral masses , one at 16.1 cc volume and the other at 8.1 cc volume. The is no flow to the smaller one and on one Doppler there was some flow. They are cystic and have some solid debris. No septation , but one has a dark solid image in the center. She said...
Avatar f tn 3cm with nominal ovarian tissue observed along the medial edge of two complex cysts, one of with measures 2.7x2.8x2.0cm. A complex cyst with multiple septation is also observed measuring 5.2x4.0x4.4cm. A third right adnexal complex mass is identified at 1.7x2.1x1.6cm. These masses are primarily solid, one of which contains calcification along the rim and several have debris that is layered in appearance. The left ovary measures 4.2x4.4x3.
