I was recently diagnosed with 2 ovarian cysts. One measuring 2.9cm and the other one just starting to grow beside it. My doctor wants to wait and see... My next appointment is not until august. Last week I came to check if all tissues had passed and it was discovered by my doctor that I have a small septated cyst cyst and few functional cysts on my right ovary ( 3 cm ) my CA 125 came back elevated to 50.5. I already got a referl to see ob/oncologist and hopefully I can get some answers . Meanwhile does elevated CA 125 means possibility of cancer.

I went to my primary who thought it was appendicitis on examination even though I mentioned a history of ovarian cysts in my mother, and my aunt died of cancer. My doctor told me i had sciatica in my left leg, and that it would go after 3 or 4 weeks on its own, but it hasnt, and im starting to think my symptoms are maybe that of a cyst/cysts on my ovary. As the other poster said, larger ovarian cysts can cause urinary urgency. So can large uterine fibroids. Most cysts go away on their own within 2 or 3 cycles so I would not worry much unless your symptoms worsen especially if you start having pain which could be a sign of the cyst rupturing, leaking, or twisting the ovary. Since most cysts resolve on there own, there should not be any impact on fertility.
