ovarian cysts questions answers

Recently I had an ultrasound in which the tech found ovarian cysts. My question is could these cysts be the cause of my problems? Is it possible for cysts to move into the Intra-Abdominal area? Thank you for any answers.

Can someone explain exactly what bilateral ovarian cysts are and what kind of cyst they would most likely be, if any in particular?

the colon is fine but i have many ovarian cysts in both ovaries not so big but they make me pee a lot sting and dull pain, I'm 50. never had kids, involuntary, and never had menstrual pain. i got an ultrasound and ct scan,it says. no peristalsis of cysts?! is that good or bad. the doctor wants me to have a laproscopy. i just don;t know if that's really necessary. he scared me to death. how much time do i have Anyone who is in the same situation?

Interesting. I have ovarian cysts and thyroid issues, now with two nodular thyroid cysts. My thyroid went from 39.9 not a year and-a-half later, to 7.5, which is still not normal - better though on Armour thyroid (pig), instead of the previous Synthroid. In January of 2009, i had emergency surgery for an ovarian cysts on my right ovary. Apparently the cyst was 5 inches and twisted around my ovary. After the surgery, i had no pain up until June of that year. I had many ultrasounds done that confirmed i had small cysts. In April of 2010, i had laproscopic surgery to have a look to see what was going on. The doctor told me after that my ovary had dropped down due to a cyst and that my right tube was blocked.

Hi, am 45 years old married and no children, I was recently diagnosed with endometrosis ovarian cysts, and calcium deposit in my right kidney, I was having this symptoms since I was 15, like, pelvic pain, pain in my right side, I did IVF in 1997 and had my fellopian tubes open 5 years ago but did not get pregnant. How did doctors miss the endometriosis and cysts when they performed surgeries and IVF?

I have posted here before in greater detail of my problem,but to make a long story somewhat short... This past year, I had three ovarian cysts rupture (2 were diagnosed -through u/s for the second rupture, and through ct scan for the third rupture). I also had the exact episode happen in February, but did not know what it was as I did not seek medical attention. I had been having these episodes happen numerous times over the years, but never knew what it was until now.

My concern is that she recently had a very sharp pain in her lower abdomen which lasted over an hour, and when she was examined by her OBGYN a couple of days later, she requested Tracie to have an ultrasound because she felt some cysts. The ultrasound showed 2 regular fluid filled cysts and 1 solid(complex as she called it) cyst that had ruptured that was full of blood.

t feel it is related in any way to my prior cysts. Most of the time, those who have cysts do NOT get ovarian cancer. That is just my experience. Good luck with your MRI. This test will definitely give you more information about your cyst.

The ultr sound from october showed the endometrium was 2 cm thick with a right ovarian cyst measuring 2.7 cm with two left cysts the largest being 3.1 with some internal debris. the second ultra is from jan, 14th my endometrium is noow 1.1 cm. the right cysts the largest is 3.1 and the second left side is 2.9 with some debris. mThe ultra sound guy says quote " bilateral ovarian cysts are identified some of hich are increased whearas others have decreased.

Hi , write down a list of questions before your appointment and make sure you get the answers , some of these doctors skirt round issues but its your health and you need to feel at ease with whats happening .

I'm new at this...so please forgive me if I am in the wrong place...again. :) I am wondering if anyone can tell me what Involuting Cysts are. My doctor isn't being very helpful in answering my questions, but insisting I get more tests and see a specialist. I just like to be informed before I do these things. Any help would be great. Today my doctor said i got Ovarian Cysts. Now it is really hard for me to be pregnant. Does Ovarian Cysts mean that i am pregnant? affective by Ovarian Cysts mean that i should be pregnant? My pregancy test was not so strong. like i tested 3 times. 1st and 3rd time it shows im not pregnant. but 2nd time it shows im pregnant. plz tell me what am i suppose to do? is that really mean that if i hav Ovarian Cysts i could be pregnant?

So I have looked up symptoms of ovarian cysts and one that caught my eye was weight gain. Has anyone ever gained weight because of cysts? I can not seem to lose any weight. I wonder if the cysts are causing this?

I have been having pelvic pain on right side, went to ER thinking I was having a kidney stone. They did a CAT scan and found a 10 cm complex ovarian cyst in the right pelvic area. I had my ovaries removed 4 years ago. I am menopausal. I went to see my gyne on Thursday. He said it couldnt be ovarian. He thinks it could be from adhesions and he doesnt fear cancer. I asked to be sent to a gyne\oncologist. I have an appt on the 16th of September.

I have had ovarian cysts for many years that have been watched by my DR. The last US showed a Right ovarian cyst does not show overall clear change in size compared with 5/7/2015, but today shows what appears to be a new echogenic mural nodule measuring 0.5 cm. MRI is suggested.. What does this mean? I'm scared to death...I'm 65 and on the Kidney Transplant list and One more problem is all i can take. Could someone PLEASE explain this to me. I have been having ovarian cysts for a yr and half now and most every time they are on my right side. My ob did US and said there are 2 cyst fluid filled one 2cm and the other 2.6cm he said they are nothing to worry about we would just watch them. Well after that my pap came back and I have irregular cells and have to have colposcopy done Jan 18th. With the cysts on the right side i have been having pain and some days why more pain than I care to have.
