Hi I went in the er cuz I had sever stomach pain so the result of the test was ovarian cycts 1 on both sides. So today I went in and they told me that the one on my right side went from being 4cm to 91/2 n the left one 2cm to6 cm I'm freaked out I didn't ask any questions of the doc but she said I need them both removed asap. Im 23 I have a beautiful daughter I do want more kiss in the future but I'm scared. Does anyone think that they would have too take both our cut both ovaries.

Hi guys, I'm new to this website after reading all your supportive posts about having painful ovarian cysts. I'm 17 and I have been having problems with ovarian cysts since I was 16. Last January, I was 16, and I started feeling severe pelvic pain that wrapped around my back. The pain was so severe I laid on the bathroom floor and cried and cried. My mom then took me to my primary doctor who told me it was only a stomach bug and gave me medicine for the vomitting, and 'stomach bug.

I do not know what kind of cyst it is they never told me just told me the size. The er doctor just put me on pain medicine and sent me home. It is frustrating because it feels like they don't care. I just don't see why when it is so large and hurts this bad they do not just take me in. Hopefully when the nurse calls me back they will do something for me. I'll keep you posted.

I am 19 and have had 2 ovarian cysts removed one at the age of 12 and one at the age of 17. Now everytime I get the horrific pain that makes me wanna pass out. I cant move and I take over the counter medicine for menstrual cramps but I have to take way more than normal to take the pain down to where I can tolerate it. My periods are normal times every month and they are not heavy or light. I don't know what is causing the horrible pain.

Hello Indah I am actually 14 years old and I have been dealing with ovarian cysts since I was 10 years old. There is no real cure for ovarian cysts but waiting it out until they naturally burst which can be very very painful. There are some solutions to it, doctors say for females the cysts occur because of our monthly cycle, its never too late to take birth control which is one of the solutions to cysts but it all depends on the person.
