1083673 tn?1388888638 If this is where I am thinking you are describing, you could have ovarian cysts. Does the pain intensify when you have your period, and or when you are ovulating? Does it stay only on one side or happen on both sides? (Around 14 days after your period starts?) I have suffered with ovarian cysts since I first started my period, and have continued for 20 years - having cysts.
Avatar n tn Yesterday while at work I got this sharp, stabbing like pain on the lower right part of my abdomen, which lasted about 5 minutes. I'm not a big baby, but I felt like I was going to vomit from the pain. I've also had dull backaches & feelings of being full as soon as I start eating. I have a family history on both my mom's & dad's side of having ovarian cysts. I'm going to call my doctor first thing in the morning, but I just wanted to get some feedback on here.
952660 tn?1258680874 I have had consistant female problems, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain. This has been going on for about 5 years. I had a hysterctomy, leaving my left ovary, the problem is, I have been having terrible abdominal pain on the right side for over a year. Dr.'s just seem to give me pain pills, and send me on my way. I have had a CT but nothing showed up, every sonogram just shows more cysts, but I'm told that they are benign.

After an ultrasound they just said it looked like i have a few cysts on my ovaries which can cause pain. Well I had my daughter 14 weeks ago and since then I have been bleeding non stop. It is now pitch black. This post caught my attention because I noticed a few dark hairs growing on my face which NEVER happened before. I also noticed big boil like bumps on my lower back and inner legs.

Avatar f tn t get in to see my gyno till December, i am extremely curious to find out what these results mean since i am having pain in my lower right abdomen and also in the center of my abdomen. If anyone has any answers, this would be greatly appriciated!!
Avatar f tn Have you had any ovarian cysts or other issues in the past? I frequently get sharp pains lower abdomen. Likely they are result of the digestive system slowing for increased absorption or things stretching around to make room for baby. I have endometriosis and still have some adhesions that can hurt like heck as the baby starts to grow. However, your doctor should include your ovaries in your ultrasound just to make sure everything is in the right place.
Avatar f tn It could possibly be ovarian cysts bursting, I know those are almost blindingly painful. I'd see a doctor ASAP.

Avatar m tn Hello, The various possibilities which present with such pain in the lower left abdomen are diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, bowel obstruction, ovarian cysts and pelvic inflammatory disease, irritable bowel syndrome , kidney obstruction or pyelonephritis, psoas abscess and volvolus (twisting of the sigmoid part of the large bowel on itself). Investigations like ultrasound abdomen, CT abdomen and colonoscopy are required to confirm a diagnosis.
Avatar n tn It is mostly localized in my lower right abdomen, but as the pain gets worse it spreads throughout the lower abdomen and to my lower right back. The pain ranges from a tearing feeling to a stabbing sensation. The pain is so severe that I can not move. I also feel very nauseated and throw up throughout the whole ordeal. Along with the nausea I experience vertigo and am very weak. This episodes generally have a sudden onset, last about two hours and then they gradually stop.
Avatar f tn A week and a half ago I began experiencing a fullness/pressure in my lower abdomen. After a day or two of the pressure/fullness I began having pain in my lower right side. Of course, I assumed it was my appendix, so I went to the ER. My appendix is fine. Since then I've seen my internist, urologist, and gastrologist. All my bloodwork is perfect and 2 cat scans have come back normal.
Avatar f tn This new GYNO did a laparoscopy surgery to take biopsies to figure out what was causing so much pain. he noted I have multiple ovarian cysts measuring about 5.7. not sure what that exactly means.. but okay.. he noted that one fallopian tube is also severely damaged. and most likely has since birth. now present time Sept 2015 I have been put on Alysena low dose birth control to control excessive bleeding and cramps during my cycles. I have been on these pills for about 6 months.
Avatar f tn I've also had lower back pain
Avatar m tn I spent 5 days in the hospital in January because of a ruptured right ovarian cyst. They thought appendicitis and found the cyst after a colonoscopy. This month my period was 3 weeks late. I recently finished it. I had my tubes tied in November. I have a history of 2 ectopic pregnancies. Never had other female problems like cysts. For the past 3 weeks I've had left lower abdominal pain and burning in the rest of my abdomen. I have no bowel problems.
