Avatar f tn I get abdominal pain, back pain, pain on my thighs, bloating and nausea. However, what really affects my daily life is the fatigue. I am always very tired, I feel like everything aches and just want to sleep. I work but lack the energy to go through an entire day without feeling I need to sleep! Is anyone else experiencing fatigue... similar symptoms?
Avatar f tn I do not have an answer for you, but wanted to suggest that you give your gynecologist a call. I know that pain and nausea are symptoms of a cyst. Please let us know what you find out. Good luck and sorry I couldn't be more help.
Avatar f tn I have left pelvic pain, pressure moving upwards now and seeming to push on my diaghram, nausea and occasional vomiting. This has been going on for 6 weeks. My doctor and the medical system seems to move very slow and not take this seriously yet these symptoms come up on the internet as ovarian cancer symptoms. How much of this is possibly just the cyst? Also, the pain is starting on my right side as it did on the left 6 weeks ago. What do I need to do to get better care?
Avatar n tn Your cysts are not that large but with endometriosis, size of cyst or spots of endometriosis does not correlate with pain. Some women have terrible pain and tiny spots , other women have huge cysts and no pain. One of the many mysteries of the disease.
Avatar n tn Ovarian cysts can cause bladder and bowel problems. In my case it was due to the size of the ovarian cyst and the pressure it was placing on other organs. In my daughter's case, the abdominal pain with the ovarian cyst was severe and caused nausea. By the time we discovered that an ovarian cyst was causing the pain, she had become constipated, which added to her irregularity and discomfort. Like MarieMichele, before my ovarian cyst was removed, I had to eat very small amounts.
Avatar f tn .Hi I'm 32 and was diganosed with ovarian cysts years ago, my problem is I've been really sick for @ 2 yrs and recently went to ER because I was so sick I couldn't move, that's where they found a 5-6 cm cysts growing. I switched Dr. last year because it just seemed that she wanted to put me on pills that didn't produce periods. I havn't had a period in 2 yrs and my symptoms are horrible.
Avatar f tn bloating, constipation, headaches, right side gripping and stabbing pain with pelvic, groin, leg and back pain as well, nausea, lack of appetite, emotions everywhere, sore breasts, pain with sex, fatigue and weakness.
Avatar f tn However, it depends on the type of ovarian cyst (endometrioma or PCOS). Other cysts like functional cysts, cystadenomas and dermoid cysts are also there. You need to get your daughter examined from a gynecologist as treatment depends on the type of cyst. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar f tn Hi jpm25, my symptoms are similar but reversed, I had ovarian cyst, pain and nausea for 16 years (not constantly, an acute episode every two months) had cyst with both ovaries removed in May 10. Around the same time I had a breast cyst aspirated, ultrasound showed several additional small cysts, followed by mammo that showed small cluster of microcalcifications, had biopsy in July, still awaiting results.
Avatar n tn Yes, cysts can cause nausea and my you've had your run of them! The nausea can be caused by the cyst pushing on your stomach and/or the hormones involved. For pain there is no rhyme or reason as some small cysts cause a lot of pain and some larger ones none. It really depends on the person and where the cyst is pushing on inside. Endometriosis can raise your CA-125. I am concerned that a complex cyst was allowed to burst and no follow up was done.
Avatar f tn ve had trouble with constipation and just recently started having rectal bleeding (occasionally), nausea, and abdominal pain. I went to my primary doctor who sent me for a CT. A 3.7x 3.2 cyst was found on my left ovary and he referred me to GYN. Today, I went to GYN, and had a transvaginal ultrasound which revealed suggestive adenomyosis and a complex cyst. I also had free fluid. ?? Dr.
Avatar f tn On the first day of my period I had excruciating pain suddenly and was sooo sick. The pain rolled in on waves and lasted about an hour-but totally debilitated me for that time requiring a trip to emergency. It happened about 4-5 times of random months and the very last episode happened a few hours after I took a bad fall (first day of period as well) and never again. I was diagnosed finally with polycystic ovaries.
Avatar f tn I'm not a Dr so I can't answer your question, but I feel your doing what you need to have done by going to see your gyn.
Avatar f tn My symptoms are upset stomach, bloating (feel like air is trapped in my stomach) pelvic pain, and nausea.. The nausea is so bad, especially when I am doing the diarrhea. Sometimes it looks like popcorn floating in the toilet....I also have a lot of burping that I just can't stop.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had ovarian cysts and had trouble concieving or had them and still got pregnant? I do, and ive been trying to get pregnant for almost a year and its really starting to feel like its never gonna happen...
Avatar f tn Hi there, Try not to worry as benign cysts can also cause these symptoms. I presume there will be follow up tests or appts with your doctor. Good luck and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn Did your doctor not follow up on this ultrasound? The odds are good you don't have it but you should have another transvaginal ultrasound to know your current status. The symptoms of ovarian cancer and cysts are very similar. In many cases they can't be sure until a cyst is removed and biopsied. Please don't ignore this.
Avatar f tn suggested you do ? Ovarian Cysts and ovarian cancer can cause many similar symptoms. There is absolutely no way to tell for certain unless and until surgery is performed and the path results come back. Having said that, cysts are very very common and 95% benign. The best course of action is to speak with your physician to see what his recommended course of action is. They may possibly suggest removal, but sometimes, they prefer to wait awhile to see if they resolve themselves.
Avatar f tn I was pregnant at the time and kept complaining of severe back pain, nausea and stomach pain. The doctor wrote it off as pregnancy issues. Come January I became severely ill and went to l&d. It was found that I had severe hydronophrosis and I had to have a nophrostomy tube put in.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am 39 yrs old and we are done having children. Two yrs, ago, I had an emergency uterine ablasion due to excessive menstral bleeding. I have a history of ovarian cycts and have never had any removed. They have all gone away by themselves, within 3-5 months. Currently, I have a 4cm on my left ovary and my symptoms are far more intense with this one vs. those in the past. I have gained approx.
4349241 tn?1358287277 Thank you for your reply, Dr. Also, thank you for taking time to read and share with all of us on this site. I'm doing well, considering. The ache has been reduced in that region, so hopeful it is more stress related. I am; however, keeping a log of symptoms to share with my Dr. I also want to keep track of these things to share with others, and will post after surgery.
Avatar f tn I have been dealing with Ovarian Cysts of and on for the past 5 years. They topically just come and go never have I been in pain from them and the never got any bigger than a centimeter. I just had an ultra sound that showed a large black mass attached to my right ovary. I have an IUD in place and for the past month I have had abdominal pain ranging from sever to managable. I also have bouts of nausea and constipation.
Avatar f tn In most cases, ovarian cysts are benign, but larger cysts, complex cysts or ones that are causing pain may need to be removed. Often, they can do a minimally invasive laparoscopic procedure with a shorter recovery time and very small incisions. Good luck at your appointment next week! I know that waiting can be hard. I'll keep you my thoughts!
17213106 tn?1456525991 ve been bloated, horrible indigestion, acid reflux, nausea, back and chest pain. I went to the ER 1/29/16, after a CT scan and Ultrasound, the DR found a cyst on my right ovary, a pedunculated fibroid outside my uterus(which is retroverted). I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3years ago, but never experienced these issues. I'm writing to see if anyone else has experienced these symptoms? My gut is telling me it's related to my female issues and not my stomach.
Avatar f tn Youll be fine just watch for extreme pain or fever/nausea which indicates rupture or twisting. Most the time they dissapear early in pregnancy, they are fairly common this early.
Avatar n tn My doctor started me on the nuva ring in hopes that it would help with the pain from bilateral ovarian simple cysts that measure 5cm and 4.2 cm. If anyone has experience with this type of treatment please respond to the following questions. Does birth control help with the pain from ovarian cysts? Does using birth control help ressolve the existing cysts? How long does it take for birth control to show progress in pain and resolution of ovarian cysts?
