Avatar f tn It is possible to ovulate with these cysts and majority of unilateral and bilateral ovarian cysts will disappear on their own within a few months .Monitoring the cysts or prescription of painkillers is the only treatment. For more queries and assistance clinical examination and work up may be necessary. Visit a gynecologist. I hope it helps. Best luck and regards!
Avatar f tn Hi I went in the er cuz I had sever stomach pain so the result of the test was ovarian cycts 1 on both sides. So today I went in and they told me that the one on my right side went from being 4cm to 91/2 n the left one 2cm to6 cm I'm freaked out I didn't ask any questions of the doc but she said I need them both removed asap. Im 23 I have a beautiful daughter I do want more kiss in the future but I'm scared. Does anyone think that they would have too take both our cut both ovaries.
Avatar f tn re ovulated from both ovaries or you may have some tiny benign cysts. I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Basically I have tiny cysts on my ovaries and I would feel crampy and feel ovarian pain, especially around ovulation time, but I wasn't ovulating. I am currently taking medication for it and I don't feel ovarian pain/discomfort anymore.
Avatar f tn the pain is my lower abdomen on both sides likely where my ovaries reside. the pain radiates down both hips and down the front of my thighs. around my back on both sides. the pain is excoriating at most times. I feel nauseous and dizzy when I get up out of my bed. I've been getting extreme headaches and a sore neck. I just feel like major crap! I am normally one to be very active and work out 4-5 times per week and I cant even do that because I am in way too much pain.
409451 tn?1206896632 In my comment above what I mean is both ovary's have cysts. I was trying to find the answer today for my bilateral cyst problem, and that is the answer I came up with.
Avatar f tn The Dr also said he removed parts of my ovaries but left some ovary tissue on both sides (more on the right than the left). He was really vague and will find out more info at my followup. My question is how is this going to affect me fertility. I do want more kids.
483733 tn?1326798446 m seeing a lot of new forum members posting the same questions on both the Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cysts forums. There is no need to do this. Just post on the Ovarian Cyst forum as you are going through your testing and diagnosis, etc. and then on the Ovarian Cancer forum only if, God forbid, you not one of the 95% benign club. Many of the members on this forum and many on the Ovarian Canacer forum visit both and will ensure your questions will be addressed.
724384 tn?1230916949 and I have the worst pain on both sides (like both ovaries) And for the 1st week I was thinking well maybe im going through the monthly thing..then the pain got worse. Oh and by the way since the IUD I havent had a period in 4 1/2 yrs (which is really nice) but Then i was looking on the net and found out that the IUD can cause ovarian cyst because ur egg isnt dropping like it should every month. They did not tell me the risk when i got the IUD.
Avatar f tn I'm 35 weeks, full term, and have ovarian cysts on both sides. I know the feeling whenshe moves and hits them or puts pressure on one. it really does suck. but your doctor should be monitoring the cysts with every ultrasound. The cysts make you a high risk pregnancy. I can't tell you yet about complications. I have been told there shouldn't be a complication, but it's a case by case thing.
Avatar n tn and never went to the doctors for it..after my round of treatment was over, i started with lower back pain on both sides..i went to the doctors with this symptom as well as abdominal discomfort..a bloated full feeling and problems with urination... he sent me for bloodwork thinking it was a bladder/kidney infection..bloodwork came back negative for infection..but there was blood in my urine.. doctor sent me to er for ct scan thinking kidney stones..
Avatar n tn I have had ovarian cysts but my paiin was not so intense as labor pains. It was just a dull pain in the lower abdominal area on both sides (cysts on both ovaries). I have had endometriosis, too. My pain with endo didn't hurt that way either. Are there any free clinics where you live? Maybe you will want to look into that option. Sounds like it is something you need to be seen by a gyn. for.
Avatar f tn m getting closer to my expect period, but something feels different. I have cramps on both sides my breast are really really tender I have had a lot of discharge I been feeling dizzy and nauseous. Is there a chance I might be pregnant or are all of this symptoms from the cyst?
Avatar f tn It sounds like you have ovarian cysts on both sides, one that hasn't gone down and another that came later. This is not really a matter of taking antibiotics, you need an ultrasound. Cysts can get huge. See an ob-gyn. In the meantime, don't have any more sex. You could certainly get pregnant, or an STD. It's going to be hard to talk to your doctor with your mom in the room if you are having sex.
Avatar f tn That is what it sounds like to me. Otherwise, it very well may be an ovarian cyst and you can have them on both sides. Just go see your doctor/OBGYN. that is your best option at this point.
Avatar f tn I have had numerous tests over the month and the scan I had, found a small ovarian cyst on my left ovary measuring 32mm my right is around 25mm. So its showing on the scan as being slightly bigger. When I saw my doctor he says not to worry as they normally go on their own, do they? Someone suggested homeopathic medicine can reduce the cyst in size and they can go away, any suggestions?
Avatar f tn There are thin septations seen with contents showing mixed density (HU 20-45). The wall outline is thin on both sides with mils smooth thickening on the postero-lateral aspect of the left adnexal lesion. The fat planes surrounding structures are present. Minimal free fluid seen. Probably representing complex cystic adnexal mass lesions on both sides, likely endometrioma, however suggest further evaluation with MRI and serum markers for ovarian metotic activity.
Avatar f tn It has happened, yes. You are going to need a better surgeon if this needs removal. Ask for a referral to a gynecologist/oncologist.
Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with ovarian cysts on both sides, and my dr recommended that i use diane-35 which with time has made my cysts decrease in size . However one month i was vacationing and it slipped my mind to take the pill after my period so i stopped it for a month. When i got back to it, i had intercourse twice and each time i was getting brown discharge with embarrassing odor!!! Can it be bc of the cyst rupture? Is it a good sign or a bad sign?
Avatar f tn Update: cysts on both sides are still there but both are small with smooth edged and no solid mass or vascular activity so no need to remove. Phew!
Avatar f tn after six months of trying i went for scan which showed endo cysts on my both ovaries ,one on each. so then my doctors performed lap and dye any ovarian cystectomy to remove cysts. they checked my tubes they were fine. they removed the cysts but they left ten percent of cysts inside me. again after six months i went for scan they have reoccured on both sides. my doc reffered me for ivf. now they are giving me iui treament. first one is failed .i m waiting for second one. i m only 25 year old.
Avatar f tn cysts on the ovary always hurt bad , and most are not cancer. CA125 is a test for a ovarian cancer marker, drs are cautious as they should be its a simple blood test, ovarian cysts can be very large my roommate when I had my surgery had one the size of a grapefruit and it was not cancer, ask your dr if you can have the daVinci robotic hysterectomy or a laproscopic one you dont want a pelvic cut.
