Avatar n tn I think possibliy you mean ovarian cysts instead of ovarian fibriods as fibriods are assoicated with the Uterus and ovarian cysts are associated with the ovaries.
Avatar f tn There is really not an expert forum for cysts., and the Ovarian Cancer Expert Forum only takes a few each day from those with Ovarian Cancer. There are no Medical professionals on the regular forums... just ladies that have or have had Ovarian Cysts or Ovarian Cancer depending on the forum.

Avatar f tn I suppose a high creatinine level could indirectly be related to ovarian cysts as ovarian cysts can aggravate hydronephrosis, which in turn elevated creatinine levels.
Avatar n tn Hi, What you might like to do is check out the top right of this page "Health Pages" . It has a lot of information about cysts. They're really common and 95 % benign. Jane is right.. there must have been a test that dx. the cyst since they rarely can be "felt".. Cysts are just a normal part of our cycles and sometimes they don't "disappear" as they should .. There is a Forum just for Ovarian Cysts ..

483733 tn?1326798446 m seeing a lot of new forum members posting the same questions on both the Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cysts forums. There is no need to do this. Just post on the Ovarian Cyst forum as you are going through your testing and diagnosis, etc. and then on the Ovarian Cancer forum only if, God forbid, you not one of the 95% benign club. Many of the members on this forum and many on the Ovarian Canacer forum visit both and will ensure your questions will be addressed.
Avatar f tn Most times when the cysts are the size of yours they will wait a month or two and redo the ultrasound to see if they have resolved. There is some good info on cysts on the health pages attached to this forum (top right). Good luck with everything.
Avatar m tn Also check out the ovarian cyst forum at medhelp for discussion of the managements of ovarian cysts that are not related to ovarin cancer good luck

Avatar f tn HI. How long has the cyst been there? When cysts are discovered the doctors will normally observe it for up to 3 months to see if it disappears itself, which a lot of cysts can. If it is causing severe pain, not resolving, or if it is suspicious in any way the cyst may be removed or drained. Most ovarian cysts are harmless.
Avatar f tn m sorry you are having these problems, but you need to post this in the Ovarian Cyst forum rather than this forum which deals with cancer. If you look on the right side below the section of Community Members, you will find a link. The women on there all have or are experiencing cyst issues and can offer a wealth of experience and support. Good luck and I hope you can be pain free soon.

Avatar f tn I've been prone to ovarian cysts for 5years and am in near constant pain with them. I've tried different contraceptions, painkillers and keyhole surgery but they always return. My doctor said removing my ovary would be best but im too young- im only 21! My G.P is consulting with his senior for more options but I can't wait. Tests confirm they are abnormal cysts but cannot be operated on almost every month!
