Avatar f tn I have had really bad cramping and am wondering if this hard spot is a sign of ovarian my ovarian cysts. Now the lump itself does not hurt to touch.
Avatar f tn I have gained around 10 lbs in the past month, my stomach is bloated, breasts are swollen, cravings, ovary pain, frequent urination, irritability, vomiting, frequent migraines............ I have had problems with ovarian cysts before and now only have 1 ovary. What is wrong with me??
Avatar f tn I have no other symptoms, except like you I do have frequent urination. I feel fine, have no pain or pressure and my only complaint is the frequent urination, although I'm on a high fiber diet and drink 80 ounces of water a day, so I'd expect to have frequent urination. I'm trying to decide whether to leave the cyst alone since it's not bothering me and since everything else on the CT scan appeared clean.
Avatar f tn I always get ovarian cysts that usually disolve on their own with my period. I had a laporoscopy at 21 and this month my 2 cysts on both ovaries seems to be hurting me extremely bad, the doctor told me it has stuff inside of it and wants me to go back on BC pills. Starting about 2 weeks ago I have been having very frequent urination wound up going to 2 different urologists with 1 of them telling me I might have insterstitial cystitis without performing any procedure to actually diagnose me!
Avatar n tn Did you have frequent urination as a symptom of ovarian cysts? That seems to be mymost prominent symptom . That and I seem to never be able to fully empty my bladder. Also mild occasional pain in the low belly but this is a minor symtom that Im not concerned about really. Just wondering how often urinary frequency is connected with an ovarian cyst. THANKS!
Avatar n tn What you are describing can be symptoms for many things. These can include ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer. Since it is pretty rare for women your age to have ovarian cancer and since more than 95% of all cysts are benign let's asssume you are dealing with a cyst. I had all the symptoms you are describing and had benign cysts. You should check out the health pages (top right) and look at the listing for types of cysts and symptoms.
Avatar f tn I am 27 years old and just recently I was diagnosed of having bilateral ovarian cysts. It was detected when my doctor recommends for a whole abdominal ultrasound. I had sharp pain in the morning and was relieved with fart or poo. I may recur during the day but was persistent in two weeks. My doctor suspected for gastrointestinal problem since I also had gas problems. I was not relieved with the prescribed medicine thats why an ultrasound was done.
Avatar f tn Hello, Frequent urination is not a sign of ovarian cysts. Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. The pinching pain can be due to adhesion formations in the area where the surgery was done. If you are apprehensive regarding the status of your pregnancy you can get it checked. Most home pregnancy tests that check urine beta-HCG are sensitive to 20-25 mIU/ml of HCG.
Avatar n tn I agree with Cindy that it is very unlikely to be Ovarian Cancer. However, young girls do get cysts. Actually cysts are very very common in young premenopausal women and 95 % benign. You may want to check the top right of this page; "Health Pages" . It has a lot of information about cysts . Of course we don't know if she even has cysts. And.. we're not Drs. here.. She really needs to be seen my by a Gyn. It could be one of many things.
Avatar f tn I am having a colonoscopy done on 25/7 to see what comes up, but have a few symptoms (pelvic pain and cramping like period type pain, frequent urination, pain with intercourse, loss of appetite and feeling full quickly) doesn't quite fit with GI related problems, although I guess I can't know for sure as I'm no doctor. Thank you, guess will just have to wait for the colonoscopy and see what happens from there. Best wishes to you too.
Avatar f tn I have had a few of the problems you are talking about like the painful urination and the diarrhea. I do get bloating, but it is not as bad as what yours is. What did they do for your blocked bowels? When do you go for your ultrasound? I would say that you do have symptoms of an ovarian cyst, but those are also symptoms of other problems as well. I will be anxious to find out what the ultrasound says. I am sorry that you are feeling so badly!! I hope you get some relief soon.
Avatar f tn Abnormal bleeding can be due to various other reasons like endometrial hyperplasia, ovarian cysts, hormonal imbalance, PCOS etc. Check up with a gynaecologist and an ultrasound scan will help make matters clear. Take care and good luck.
Avatar f tn Eventually my urinating returned to normal, however I do believe by me forcing, applying pressure and being hunched over has aggravated my ovarian cysts because I know feel aches whenever I lay down for bed with my legs raised to the side, even if I sit up I can feel the ache from both ovaries. Could it be the cysts?
Avatar f tn Should I go on and get my ovaries removed? I still worry about ovarian cancer. My brother has renel and thyroid cancer. My mom has lymphoma. I appreciate any feedback I can get.
Avatar n tn If it shoots all the way up your side, it could be an infection, like a kidney infection. Are you having any other symptoms, temperature? pain with urination? Sometimes ovarian cysts can also cause sharp pain. But I haven't heard of pain shooting up to the breast from them though.
Avatar n tn Keep going to Dr's until you find answers........... I knew something was wrong but the Dr kept sending me to GI docs saying I had IBS. I never felt right and then I finally got answers. I had severe Endo and ovarian cysts. Endo can cause most all of your symptoms. I don't have any experience w/hair loss. I hope you feel better, I understand how frustrating it is!
Avatar f tn I have the opinion that its better to get checked out and get it taken care of than to sit and worry and risk your health.
Avatar m tn I did great today, in and out....I am home pretty sore, slept on and off most or the day...I am sore and getting up and down is slow and walking will be slow for a while but it's not as bad as you think, Just wanted to send you some good vibes and positve thoughts for your surgery tomorrow...I will be sending prayers your way...... Thinking of you and let me know how you are when you can write again... My doctor said everyhting looked fine on her end and everything was good.
Avatar f tn 1 cm. A few small subcentimeter left follicular ovarian cysts are identified. There is no longer evidence of previously described 2.0 cm complex left ovarian cyst. The right ovary measures 3.8 x 2.0 x 4.0 cm and contains a thick walled complex right ovarian cyst measuring 3.4 x 1.4 x 4.0 cm. This was not noted on prior MRI examination. Clinical correlation and close follow-up is recommended. Small amount of free fluid is noted within the cul-de-sac. Impression: Status post hysterectomy.
Avatar n tn What are the lingering effects of a ruptured ovarian cyst? I've had cysts before but this one is different. It ruptured almost two weeks ago, causing extreme abdominal pain. I recognized the pain so I went to an urgent care the next day instead of the ER. A few days later, I began having lower back pain. Now I have other symptoms such as fatigue, moodiness, lighter/shorter periods, frequent urination. My appetite has changed.
Avatar f tn I have ovarian cysts and I didn't feel this kind of pain with pregnancy. You should feel much pain with pregnancy, especially at the beginning.
Avatar f tn I go back for a follow up ultrasound on the 30th but in the mean time, as most of us are, I am concerned that I should be doing more testing. Like I said, I have been reading up on the cysts and ovarian cancer symptoms for quite some time and am not sure if I should be worried or am I making too much of this. No one in my family has had cancer.
471707 tn?1207674576 Hi there. I also have a history of ovarian cysts and by what I know, when they are enlarged it's better to get them checked to see if they are benign or not. The CA - 125 is normal, but it's not generally used to indicate if a person has cancer or not. It's mostly used to see how women who have been given treatment for ovarian cancer have responded to it. I think you should consult a gyno-oncologist.
