I spent 5 days in the hospital in January because of a ruptured right ovarian cyst. They thought appendicitis and found the cyst after a colonoscopy. This month my period was 3 weeks late. I recently finished it. I had my tubes tied in November. I have a history of 2 ectopic pregnancies. Never had other female problems like cysts. For the past 3 weeks I've had left lower abdominal pain and burning in the rest of my abdomen. I have no bowel problems.
I am no DR but am a little confused as to how the ruptured cyst delivered blood into your stomach. Ovarian Cysts are in the abdominal cavity and when they rurture fluid or in your case blood can be seen throughout that open abdominal cavity. But the stomach is closed off and attached to the intestines. The only way into the stomach is through the esophugus or intestines.
Maybe I'm just confused and you or someone else can explain it to me.
I have been Dx with Costochronditis because of pain in chest in breast, Ovarian Polycystitis Disease because of cysts, in balanced hormones, and back pain. An RA doctor dx my with Inflammatory Arthritis. I have had a couple of false + Lupus tests with high sediment rates every time. Another GP said I have DGD in lower back and a broken tail bone. I have had tendonitis in right arm from elbow down through fingers , right arm - right handed.
Hello.. I am experiencing pelvic pain and lower right back pain.. So i went to my doctor and she gave me a script for an US. The Midwife called me yesterday with the results leaving out some information and just saying everything is ok but i dont feel ok, here are my results, I have a 3.5cm cyst on my right ovary which contains nultiple internal small, mildly thick walled cysts and my left ovary contains a complex heterogeneous nodule which meaures 2.5cm..

Ovarian cysts usually cause abdominal fullness, indigestion or difficult bowel movements .So your backache doesn’t seem to be related to these cysts. I will advise you to get your serum calcium levels done and also other related tests to rule out multiple myeloma. High ESR could be due to any chronic illness/infection .
My doctor started me on the nuva ring in hopes that it would help with the pain from bilateral ovarian simple cysts that measure 5cm and 4.2 cm. Hi everyone. Many years ago I was diagnosed with multiple ovarian cysts, and have been monitoring them since. I recently had a scan and they were confirmed as still there (I cannot remember exactly what the report said, but my doctor didn't seem concerned at all).
For almost a year now, and getting progressively worse in recent months, I have been having mid to upper back ache and discomfort, which feels like bone weakness.
I know you are going through alot. I am going through the same thing. Trying to deciede what is right my pain is on the left side and before everyone said it was in my mind. I too have blood pressue and migraines. I don't want to go into early menopause. They I will have different issues. I think what I want to do is try the D&C again and then see if they can do the endometrial ablation. I have the shoulder pain and back pain.
Hi Chrissie, you poor thing pain everywhere, interesting you say about your shoulder pain,i have had terrible shoulder pain for the past twelve mths since my last surgery, mentioned it too my doctor who said that it was not unusual after surgery as you get pulled about abit, but it has continued for twelve mths. I too have a cyst on the right ovary,any connections i dont know, but i have heard this mentioned before.
Hello I have Ben bleeding very heavily for 22 days it has just stopped huge clots even with doubling up protection I was bleeding through every half hour have been through over 140 tampons plus pads endless washing sheets etc.
What you are describing can be symptoms for many things. These can include ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer. Since it is pretty rare for women your age to have ovarian cancer and since more than 95% of all cysts are benign let's asssume you are dealing with a cyst. I had all the symptoms you are describing and had benign cysts. You should check out the health pages (top right) and look at the listing for types of cysts and symptoms.
What is the difference between ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer. I haven't had a period for 3 months now and I have a sharp pain in my lower right side, as well as back pain, especially in the mornings. once in a while i am off balance when walking. i am bloated, and a lot of times i don't have an appetite.
Monday morning I woke up and could barely move my left arm because of pain in my shoulder. This pain was very bad and went on for two days without relief. Now, it comes and goes but is not as bad. I have also been sick to my stomach all week and just felt weak and fatigued.
I have an appt with the gyn next week. I dont know if this sounds more like a cyst, the endo, or ectopic pregnancy.
Does the shoulder pain with the ectopic come and go, or is it constant?

I get abdominal pain, back pain, pain on my thighs, bloating and nausea. However, what really affects my daily life is the fatigue. I am always very tired, I feel like everything aches and just want to sleep. I work but lack the energy to go through an entire day without feeling I need to sleep! Is anyone else experiencing fatigue... similar symptoms?
Ovarian cysts can be benign or malignant but the majority (over 90%) are benign. A lot depends on your age and what type of cyst it is - functional, dermoid, etc. Your doctor hopefully will let you know if there is anything to be concerned about. You can google "ovarian cysts" to get more information so you know what questions to ask at your appointment. Please let us know how it goes.

Also my right side has had so much pain (right pelvic area, right hip and leg, and right shoulder/neck). I do not have fsmily hx of ovarian cancer but my family carries the braca gene. I was tested and do not carry it. Am I being crazy worried over nothing?! Gyn thinks the pain could be endometriosis and will be doing exploratory surgery at the same time as cyst removal. After multiple tests (ultrasound, ct scan and MRI) I was told I have complex ovarian cysts 5×4 cm on both ovaries and pancreatic cyst that is over 1cm . I have 2 questions. 1. Since I very much refuse and will be refusing contraceptives , how else naturally can I cure ovarian cysts? 2. Can acidic taste in my mouth with coating on my tongue and lower back pain be due to pancreatic cyst?
