Avatar f tn I’m really worried it can be malignant. My last pelvic exam was done September 2018, with no cysts. I had a failed IVF and a failed FET cycle. Had anyone had a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

518121 tn?1211751734 Hi, am 45 years old married and no children, I was recently diagnosed with endometrosis ovarian cysts, and calcium deposit in my right kidney, I was having this symptoms since I was 15, like, pelvic pain, pain in my right side, I did IVF in 1997 and had my fellopian tubes open 5 years ago but did not get pregnant. How did doctors miss the endometriosis and cysts when they performed surgeries and IVF?
881363 tn?1499241613 Did they check if you have developed ovarian cysts? Some cysts can interfere with your cycle and even prevent your ovaries from ovulating if they were active. are u starting another round of ivf soon?
Avatar f tn Although there still is controversies, it appears to interfere with ovarian reserve and oocyte quality. As a result, the ovaries may repond differently form cycle to cycle. Having said that, most reproductive endocrinologists do not recommend removal of endometriomas because the risk of removing normal ovarian tissue during the surgery, and therefore compromising further the ovarian reserve. Moreover, it appears that surgery does not improve outcomes.
Avatar f tn I have a history of ovarian cysts and recently had a laproscopy done to remove minor endo and a couple of ovarian cysts. WHen I had my first Day 3 FSH test done in Oct it was 10- not an issue according to my RE. I had the test re-done in Feb when I was also having issues with some small cysts on my ovaries, and it came back 1.6!! Very low, but both gyn and RE said that was "very good".
1448645 tn?1370067496 Fertility meds can most certainly cause delays in AF. After my first round it was almost a month late. Ovarian cysts can cause a delay also and there could be a good possibility after stim drugs. Best of luck to you!
Avatar f tn Previous and during the IVF treatment I was in good health and had normal thyroid blood results and normal ovarian ultra sounds. Before I started the IVF treatment I had a laparoscopy which showed nothing abnormal in my uterus and ovaries. A small amount of endometrosis was taken from the Pouch of Douglas area of my abdomen. My FSH levels at this time were indicating that I was early menopausal. Since the end of the IVF my menstrual cycle was returning to a regular cycle.
Avatar f tn I will talk to my gyno and other infertility experts before the next step and before the laparotomy and IVF procedures. I am 27 years old, so I think that in this field I have good chances and the spermogram of my husband was ok, just some small and not so important problems, and about the other things I need to see my doctor and talk to him and make more examinations. Thank you one again and all the best!
Avatar f tn thenn tell me which medicine is used in pcos patients to regulate ovulation,,,what are the side effects of clomid???
Avatar f tn There is no history of it in my family at all, but we do have a very long line of Ovarian Cysts which I also have. For the past four years I have had a rupture on my right side every four months exactly. So I suppose there is a connection there since many say endo is also connected to ovarian cysts. This month my cycle was very strange, for I have been charting for the last 8 months; it's been consistently getting more off track.
Avatar n tn I have learned a lot from these lovely ladies here and on the Ovarian Cancer forum. I encourage you to look at he Cyst 101 post which is also on the health pages. It does an excellent job of detailing what cysts are what. There is more of a concern by doctor for women after menopause who have cysts as they are not ovulating so their cysts are less likely to be functional. The risk of OC is still extraordinarily small. The size of the cyst is not an indicator either.
Avatar f tn First one failed, then tried a couple of times but due to persistent ovarian cysts I had to discontinued. Now, this is my second IVF, yesterday was my 10 Day post embryo transfer and had some spotting in the morning, I was devastated so my husband bought me a hpt and it came postitive!, today in the morning since I was still in shocked took another one and came positive. My concern is that this afternoon I started having brown discharge, not to much, enought to wear a panty liner.
1326826 tn?1274917427 I had a laparotomy two years ago, which was when they were able to diagnose the endo. We tried on our own for 6 months prior to this cycle and I've had some ovarian cysts reappear during that time period. I'm hoping the surgery was thorough enough to last a while :) Congratulations on the twins! I'm glad to hear it worked out for you. Thank you for sharing and for the good wishes.
Avatar f tn and there are months that they think they see another one on that left side (thats about all that side is good for, is producing cysts!) When we were about to do IVF and they thought i had a hemorrhagic cyst vs endometrioma they said that as long as its (i hope i remember this right) under 3cm or so it shouldn't interfere with IVF..
1294482 tn?1354489288 I had cysts 2.6 and 2.5 on each ovary and it just made me feel a little crampy and achey. I wasnt crying in pain. It took about 6-8 weeks for those to resolve on their own. Later I had a much larger around 4.5 and it was stubborn, I had surgery for that one.(we were TTC so had it removed) Even it wasnt terribly painful. I just felt achey, menstral cramps were worse than the cyst pain.
Avatar f tn I am wondering if it makes sense for us to go ahead with the IUI or do IVF instead... The IVF seems a lot more stressful though and I am not sure if I am ready for all that stress... Also, is any of this still worth doing given my age?? Thanks.
1279767 tn?1277229374 My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year off and on with no luck. We have purchased box after box of those over the counter ovulation tests and still no luck. I talked to a few friends and family members about the problem and one thing that keeps popping up is the possibility of me having ovarian cysts, as my mother had them...but yet here I am, so evidently she wasn't infertile.
Avatar f tn I have an appt with RE in the morning and he may do an u/s to see if another cyst has formed. I am prone to ovarian cysts. My blood work is ok and RE sees no other issues. He is leary about prescribing Chlomid since he says I havent been trying long enough. Hello!!! Im not ovulating AGAIN. I totally wish I could do IVF and not have to deal with the cysts and whether or not Im going to ovulate, but I dont have the money for IVF right now. Under what circumstances did your RE prescribe Chlomid?
Avatar f tn At present- left- ovary and tube removed, right- half fallopian remains and ovary intact. With such a history I am obviously an IVF candidate which I am planning in near future. Over the years I had history of simple cysts which ruptured spontaneously and were treated conservatively. I have been on oral contraceptives since 10 years. In july i found a simple cyst which measured 2.6 cm, in september it was 3.6, and in november (yesterday) it was 5,48 cm.
Avatar m tn I had ovarian hyperstimulation symptoms but never any cyst or free fluid and 22 eggs were retrieved. I am 38 years old and have been ttc for 2 1/2 years and they have done every test even exploratory lap surgery and have found nothing wrong. My husband also has absolutely nothing wrong that can be found. Out of the 22 eggs from the ivf 16 fertilized naturallly, 8 were frozen on day 2 and 4 more became 5 day blasts. 2 were transferred and the other 2 frozen.
117065 tn?1280874407 My questions are, do you think there may be a connection between my cysts rupturing and losing my pregnancies, and if so what can we do about it? and I was also wondering if I had my left ovary removed (where I had all the cysts, and no tube on that side), would I be more likely to get pregnant on my own using the right side which is somewhat healthier? I should also let you know that neither my RE or my OB believe in checking progesterone levels?
Avatar f tn after six months of trying i went for scan which showed endo cysts on my both ovaries ,one on each. so then my doctors performed lap and dye any ovarian cystectomy to remove cysts. they checked my tubes they were fine. they removed the cysts but they left ten percent of cysts inside me. again after six months i went for scan they have reoccured on both sides. my doc reffered me for ivf. now they are giving me iui treament. first one is failed .i m waiting for second one. i m only 25 year old.
Avatar m tn I'm 40, and was just told I had low ovarian reserve. I have a FSH of 12.5, and an AMH that is undetectable. We are very sad. I have used Clomid for 4 cycles out of the last 6 cycles. On last ultrasound, MD said I either had some cysts or possible endometriosis. Again devastating news. MD put me on birth control for 6 weeks to see if the cysts go away. My MD basically said there is little chance of me conceiving on my own.
Avatar f tn Ovarian cysts are quite common and often times resolve on their own. If you have concerns you should seek out a doctor.
