Avatar f tn Two common types of benign (non-cancerous) cysts that are hypoechoic on ultrasound are endometriomas and hemorrhagic cysts. I hope this helps ease your mind. Best of luck conceiving.
1580318 tn?1550254481 I've had a few ovarian cysts, on both ovaries, and I'm 19 weeks prego with our 2nd child, so no, ovarian cysts don't mean infertility. I wish you the best!!
Avatar f tn My doctor said that I developed some small ovarian cysts because I breastfed, and consequently didn't ovulate, for so long. This was four months ago, oh yeah we're also trying to conceive again, I am still having symptoms (pain during sex) though I'm pretty sure I had two of them burst, and still not pregnant. Has anyone else had this problem of developing ovarian cysts and have trouble conceiving after breastfeeding?
Avatar f tn thenn tell me which medicine is used in pcos patients to regulate ovulation,,,what are the side effects of clomid???
1023997 tn?1251922166 My first surgery the doctor was able to remove the cysts withouth damaging my ovaries. The cysts came back on both ovaries. Had another surgery and had my entire right ovary removed. Amazingly, I became pregnant 6 months after surgery with just one ovary without trying or doing anything special. It had been 8 years of infertility. I then got preganant again while breast feeding and had another child 16 months apart... So... you might want to consider surgery as an option if necessary.
Avatar f tn I am 28 and the past year I have been to the hospital and told I have ovarian cysts, especially after my cycle. Can these cysts hinder me from conceiving ?
Avatar n tn Would having mentrual cysts affect my chances of conceiving and would it give me a negative pregnancy test result. As am trying for a baby and for the past 3 months i've bled a few days later than I should but the really funny thing is, or wheather am imaging it, but I feel like something is inside me moving about. Please can anyone help me out.

1279767 tn?1277229374 My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about a year off and on with no luck. We have purchased box after box of those over the counter ovulation tests and still no luck. I talked to a few friends and family members about the problem and one thing that keeps popping up is the possibility of me having ovarian cysts, as my mother had them...but yet here I am, so evidently she wasn't infertile.
2147557 tn?1395676951 Can you still get pregnant if you have an ovarian cyst? My other half and I are trying for a second child and I have a cyst about 2 1/2 cm on my right ovary. Can that stop us from concieving another child?
Avatar f tn hi there!!!I I NEED some answer...I just been operated from ovarian cysts(left side) and it's been two months. I'm planning to start a family now that I'm turning 30...but I'm afraid that the cyst may come back. Is it possible? Avatar n tn oh ok i had blood test and an ultra sound done and they said i only had polycystic ovaries cos i only had one sign.
1482581 tn?1289070444 I am 29 years old and I lost my right ovary to a large dermoid cyst in 1996 (it had wrapped around the ovarian and destroyed all of the normal ovarian tissue). Just this last September I had laparoscopic surgery for another dermoid (8.2 cm in size) on my left ovary. The doctor was able to remove the cyst only and reconstruct my left ovary. I have had two normal menstrual cycles since the surgery. I really want to have a baby asap.

My stomach is getting bigger and tighter,my waistline has expanded and cant fit into my jeans. My breast are very sore and the nipples are dark. I dont know what to do from here. All the tests shows am not pregnant.
Avatar m tn Ended up having stage 3 endo, ovarian cysts (pcos), as well as uterine fibroids/cysts. They used a laser on the endo that they could, removed the ovarian cysts & did a d&c. It has helped some, mostly with the pain during sex, but as much pain as it was causing some improvement is better than none. Since I'm ttc there isn't any treatment I can take long term and I still suffer from all of these issues and they are likely the reason I am having so much difficulty conceiving.
Avatar f tn I don't know a whole lot about the Mirena, but I've heard that ovarian cysts are relatively common after having it inserted. I've never used the Mirena or other type of IUD, however, I have had ovarian cysts (I've since had a complete hysterectomy due to other problems). Normally they will just kind of keep an eye on the cyst to see if it is getting larger or if it starts causing you pain or other problems. Sometimes the cysts will go away on their own.

1326826 tn?1274917427 I had a laparotomy two years ago, which was when they were able to diagnose the endo. We tried on our own for 6 months prior to this cycle and I've had some ovarian cysts reappear during that time period. I'm hoping the surgery was thorough enough to last a while :) Congratulations on the twins! I'm glad to hear it worked out for you. Thank you for sharing and for the good wishes.
Avatar f tn Hello, Frequent urination is not a sign of ovarian cysts. Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. The pinching pain can be due to adhesion formations in the area where the surgery was done. If you are apprehensive regarding the status of your pregnancy you can get it checked. Most home pregnancy tests that check urine beta-HCG are sensitive to 20-25 mIU/ml of HCG.
Avatar f tn Well I was seen in the ER Monday night for the pain and they done a CT scan and I had a 4.3cm ovarian cyst on my right ovary, so they recommended I follow up with my GYN asap. I went to my GYN Wed. morning and they done a vaginal ultrasound and I now the cyst on my right ovary has grown to be 6.5cm. Im scheduled for surgery next Thursday to have my right ovary removed.
Avatar f tn I have had 5 rupture since I was 19 and it ruined my life for years! I have cysts around 5cm or larger at all times...no diagnosis and atleast a dozen Drs... I will always be in pain and thought I was infertile for years bc of it. I actually went to today to schedule a hysterectomy and by the grace of God a new dr walked in, gave me a personalized plan and hopefully this time next year I will be on fertility meds and finally conceiving a baby!
Avatar f tn My mother and I both have PCOS as it is genetic and she was on birth control and had no problems conceiving. I on the other hand have never been on birth control because I was young and dumb and refused to go to the gyn. I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years (2 with medical help) with no luck so far. I am only 25 now and when I was in HS I had regular periods, so it doesn't take long being untreated to cause major problems. I recently underwent ovarian drilling.
Avatar f tn t believe they were the culprit and for now has opted to leave them in. I had no trouble conceiving again, and am now almost 39 weeks pregnant and all is well. I know after a miscarriage one of the things we want so badly is answers as to why. Often there just aren't any, and sadly miscarriage is more common then most of us realize. In first trimester, the most common cause is a chromosonal abnormality and there is nothing that can be done to prevent that.
