Hi. I have always been physically active and have never been overweight. There is no arthritis in my family and feel that for most of my life have eaten properly. I have arthritis in my hip.
MSM is an herbal remedy. Methylsulfonylmethane. It is for joint pain/support, but it also helps regrow hair and is good for asthma, arthritis, allergies and Fibromyalgia. Some people claim that it helps with headaches and heartburn.
Doesn't help my heartburn - but does help me with the inflammation from Fibromyalgia.
I have osteoarthritis in my neck moderate and mild in lower back. Can and adjusment help? will they even do an adjustment me? i seem to be losing sensativity in my legs but dont know if iy du to oa in back nad neck.any help would be great. thank you.

Can you please tell me what you did, in terms of how often you took what and in what form, to improve your cataracts and arcus senilus? I too have cataracts and wish to reverse the situation. Also, how do you make your own drops? And why not to use lutein , zeanathin and NAC while using the l-carnosine? Can one use astaxanthin? other supplements?
Let me start by saying I am in pain everyday from head to toe, I am 64 & otherwise in good health. I am currently being treated by a Rheumatologist for cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc disease, osteoarthritis of ankle & foot and Achilles tendonitis. and am not getting much relief. What concerns me the pain which occurs at the base of my head, if I turn my head while lying down, I can hear crackle from that area & pain follows.
I have severe osteoarthritis in my left hip and am looking at a hip replacement down the road. I have prescription IB profen and hydrocodone but very rarely have to take anything for pain. I firmly attribute this to take Triple Flex which is glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM. You have to take it for 6 to 8 weeks before it really starts taking effect. A lot of people expect it to work immediately and do not give it the amount of time it needs to work.
I'm 74 y/o and have had osteoarthritis in my fingers of both hands for many years. Right hand ring finger swelled up at the middle knuckle with lots of pain when cutting things with a knife, shaking hands, unscrewing lids. The pain is on the sides of the knuckle, not the top, so that would seem to rule out a tendon problem.
Ibuprofen or Tylenol don't seem to be of much help. Is there any procedure to relieve the pain, I'd rather not get into narcotic type pain meds?
Yes. Use Brite Eyes III eye drops and MSM eye drops. This is what Europeans do. I have had enormous improvement in my cataracts. I was told I needed cataract surgery. After one year on this regimen I did not.

He or she can test you for a whole slew of other illnesses to rule anything else out and then treat your chronic pain until it becomes to much for you to deal with.
