Avatar f tn Does she experience any swelling or sensations of heat in those areas? Does she have any other symptoms? Rheumatism is a general name for a number of conditions. Some of these conditions start in childhood and others usually surface much later in life. Has she talked to her doctor about this pain? If not, she certainly should do so.
387767 tn?1345875627 I'm still angry with my body because it doesn't act like it used to-and if I don't get over that, I'll be stuck in bad place. Educate yourself like on this forum or webmd symptoms and diseases etc. There is so much to learn. Best wishes to you.
645390 tn?1338558977 He thinks I might have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I need a blood test. WHAT? Seriously?? (This was one of the diseases my mom had). I looked quickly on WebMD, know I shouldn't, but there is was in black and white. Me and my symptoms. It said RA affects the fingers, toes and Cervical Spine. (I had cervical spine surgery Jan 08 for 2 herniated discs. Surgeon said it was due to I had a congenitally small spine and arthritis).
Avatar f tn it will last 24/7 for a week then disappear for months. 10yrs ago I had many many MS symptoms but never got them checked out....
182884 tn?1259316506 To get back to the subject at hand, I have heard for quite some time that there are connections between heart problems and people that have thyroid problems. I suffered the symptoms of a MI on April 2nd of this year, and due to the fact I was in denial and neither my husband called 911 or myself, I have been having a hard time getting a definite diagnosis, that I did in fact have a MI.
Avatar f tn I also suffer from the symptoms described. But mine has been going on for years...comes and goes. It is getting worse though now. No rhyme or reason. Just arms get weak and tingly....have to lie down and pray that it goes away. It lastes anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes maybe. I am unemployed and have no medical insurance, so can't go to dr. Should I be concerned?
Avatar n tn I think each fibro/cfs patient is a little bit different, but most share alot of the same symptoms to varying degrees. Heard about Savella, checked out the medical literature on it, and man, knew I did not want to go there. For me, the symptoms lists sounded alot like what Cymbalta did to me. Some do well on Cymbalta; some don't.
Avatar f tn Do you take any medications shirl000? I have Behcet's and take quite a few meds. I have had the internal shakes on and off for years, sometimes daily for a month at a time. I also get visible shake but only slight and only once where other people could see it going on. I don't know if my shakes are due to meds or just part of the disease. So many effects of the disease and so little knowledge about it.
Avatar f tn Hi I have been told that i hav to have a c5/6 decompression and fusion. Same symptoms as many people on this site. I see that you had your first op in 2003. would you recommend this operation and did it achieve what it was suppose to do. Hope you dont mind me asking.
211940 tn?1267884866 I appear to be suffering from the same symptoms as you are. This pain has been going on, off and on again, for almost two years. Asprin or any anti-inflammatories help but I don't want to rely on them forever. Please let me know if you've had any luck diagnosing your illness.
Avatar n tn I was convinced that I had gallstones because the symptoms matched perfectly and the pain comes on after eating greasy or fatty foods. I did a liver cleanse and ordered a gold coin grass tincture to soften up any stones in there, and have been drinking gallons of organic apple juice. The pain comes and goes, but I've been on a diet for the past week to try to keep the pain away, I'm not eating red meats or fatty foods. Mostly all fruits and salads and fresh vegetable and fruit juices.
Avatar n tn I can totally understand what you have been feeling. I started having the same buzzy feeling like a cell phone on vibrate in the public region and sometime over to the sides of my lower abdomen. I talked to my husband and he just started having these feelings too. I have a friend at work that admitted she has those recently too. What is up? Does the medical world have an answer to this? Do we use too many electronics in our lives? How does this happen?
Avatar n tn I am so relieved I found this. WebMD had no information on this. I was playing on the Wii yesterday and out of no where I felt my finger tingle like it was swelling a few minutes later it was turning blue. I have been freaking out since then looking all over the internet. I thought I was havng a reaction to some new medicine I am taking but I went to their site and it is not listed as a side effect or reason to call Dr. Then my husband said maybe I popped a blood vessel.
Avatar n tn Many people have candida and do not even realize it ...the symptoms are many and often people don't show symptoms that others do. Even if you do not practice the candida diet, cut back sugars and take a probiotic. Good luck everyone.
Avatar n tn The entire vaginal area is very itchy and if I scratch or rub the skin at all I often give myself one of these tears. It seems as if the skin is very thin. There are no other symptoms that I am aware of. I have had blood work and a biopsy done. Some of the things that I was tested for were; genital herpes, lichen sclerosus, lichen simplex chronicus, lichen planus, vulvar vestibulitis. All results came back negative. The biopsy tested positive for "healing ulcers".
