I'm going to list my symptoms, so that others may have some insight, in layman's terms. I hope anyone else with the deficiency would also post theirs.
Avatar n tn Hi Sebastiandelacroix- I am having some of the same symptoms as you and am wondering what it is also. I am interested in knowing if you have some of the others I have had...along with the involuntary twitching in my legs and numbness and tingling in my arms and hands I have had fatigue and migraines. My doc put me on a heart medication for my migraines and they have subsided for the most part but now the twitching and arm/hand probs have arisen.
Avatar n tn Of course those people do not have these symptoms! I think to all who have experienced these very disturbing symptoms on the heels of therapy, it is very clear and obvious that there is a connection to therapy. The pattern seems to run through at least 35% of the overall post-tx group who took the survey. I would like to see even larger surveys done, across the entire treatment population. I will bet the results are essentially the same.

Avatar n tn Nutrition and the Spine How does nutrition affect the spine? Nutrition will determine how strong your bones and connective tissue are. We begin to build our skeleton and connective tissue before we are born. Our diet in childhood has a major effect on how strong we are as adults. What you eat during your whole life will decide how able you are to repair bones, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. Everyone has to replace body tissues due to normal every day wear and tear.

358304 tn?1409713092 I have osteoarthritis and it sounds like you have the beginning symptoms. They will test you. Many Drs have stopped using the trigger test for fibro its inaccurate. Many people who have O. A. also have fibro. Mainly you are more sensitive to pain than before and your body is tired and achy! There's also chronic fatigue syndrome I have all three. See a rheumatologist he will treat all types of arthritis. If you need your anxiety meds take them don't beat yourself up overtit.
Avatar f tn Quick last comment, because I should be working. Total enteral nutrition isn't the same as TPN (total parenteral nutrition). You drink enteral nutrition like any beverage, or take it through a nasogastric tube, whereas TPN is given through an intravenous line, which has a higher risk of side effects (e.g., sepsis). They are about equally effective in inducing remission, but enteral nutrition is better for long-term use (to maintain remission) because of the lack of complications.
483733 tn?1326802046 I am 46 and just found out I have SLE and rheumatoid arthritis. Right now my symptoms are fatigue, edema, and muscle and tissue pain throughout my body. I have a few questions I am hoping I can get help with. 1. Have you had any benefits to changing your diet? I don't eat processed food and eat a pretty balanced diet. Is there anything I should add or avoid? 2. I am taking Plaquenil. Can I drink wine occasionally or do I need to cut it out?
Avatar f tn I have both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia and have been a type one (Juvenile) diabetic for 56 years. Because withdrawal really messes up my diabetes control majorly and almost kills me, I was wondering about the rapid two hour detox. My drs. want to find out what my baseline pain level is and treat for only that. I would end up in the acute hospital if I did cold Turkey, and most hospitals don't deal with Insulin pumps, nor listen to me about it (I've been on a pump over 35years.

1550149 tn?1340004330 This is one of the reasons that vitamin C is helpful for reducing some of the symptoms of arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other related diseases. Avatar f tn To quote the website, The Isagenix cleanse is unique because it not only removes impurities at the cellular level, it builds the body up with incredible nutrition. Besides detoxing the body, Isagenix teaches people a wonderful lesson that they don’t need to eat as much as they are accustom to and eating healthy choices are really important and also a lot of the food we are eating is nutritionally bankrupt. [errors are in the original] I didn’t set out to write an article about this.
Avatar m tn She is at stage 3 that means her liver has the ability to compensate therefore she should be feeling quite well. Symptoms of cirrhosis don't normally manifest until the final stage (stage 4) of cirrhosis. However she does need to be cautious with everything ingested to include medication to avoid rapid progression of her disease. She should be recieving treatment from a transplant facility as they have the ability to give her the best care possible.
Avatar f tn for helpful hints and suggestions to deal with your symptoms As I posted earlier to another member, our bodies can produce endorphins which are up to 40.000 times stronger than the best heroin one can buy, with the ability to take care of severe pain and make us feel great. So correcting any underlying serious imbalances which may be interfering with this process is a big part of our health improvement and wellness plan.
Avatar f tn She started me on percocet and avinza to address the pain, and worked with me to management pain, improve exercise, nutrition, sleep, and to reduce stress. I am now feeling better than I have in 6 years and have slowly ( and voluntarily ) reduced the amount of pain meds to half of what I began with. Now, I only take the percocet a few times a month when I feel really bad. Just knowing that I have it available, if I need it, actually reduces the stress and worry about having another flare-up.
Avatar n tn Been taking a few of them a day and want to know how to taper off of them and will I feel withdrawels symptoms by doing it that way? I have gone c/t before and it stinks and I am hoping this will be different. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Avatar f tn It's a BP medication commonly used in opiate detox that really does help with a lot of the symptoms. Are you doing this detox under Dr supervision? Was the fentanyl prescribed? Really, truly talk to your doc if you can. Detox is suffering no matter which way you look at it but there are things that can greatly reduce your suffering. Just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Be kind and gentle with yourself. And feel proud that you are taking your life back from the drugs.
