I was not satisfied with the doctor, he was giving medicine without mentioning what it is givning me in an open packet mixed with couple of homeo medicine. Only one bottle he gave me a patent was R-11. Can any one suggest good medicine (homeo) for osteoprosis.

Avatar n tn I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. I have tried Celebrex, antibiotic therapy, methotrexate and now have been on Enbrel injections for 8 months. I now have tingling and numbness in my left hand and am constantly sore and stiff. My rheumatologist seems puzzled as to what to do next. 786881 tn?1236560228 I have been battling some different symptoms than you for a year and a half. Extreme fatigue (even Epstein-Barr positive), chronic constipation that causes severe pain in my left side and ribs, trouble sleeping, soreness in my armpits and really bad itching on arms, armpits and backs, chronic daily migraines. Your TSH levels are high and the fact you couldn't lose weight is not surprising and that doctor is an idiot. Also, Hashimoto's does affect cholesterol and triglycerides.
Avatar m tn This disease is common among older people and is usually treated with anti-inflammatory drugs. I know that there is a herbal medicine that has shown effective cure for reducing joint inflammations caused by arthritis. As, I know ginger is the best herbal medicine for arthritis, the use of ginger is unknown to me. If anyone having idea on it, then please suggest me. Thanks a lot!
Avatar f tn I was sent to a physio who was quite rude to me, telling me that my symptoms were stress related and I was imagining it. So the burning pains which drive me to despair are imaginary are they? I notice that these symptoms are worse in cold weather. More recently though, I have developed a lot of numbness and tingling in my arms and hands... Sometimes this extends to my legs and feet.
Avatar n tn I was diagnosed with Eagles in March of 2006 after going to 2 ENT doctors and having my tonsils removed because they thought it was some kind of cyst or tumor in my tonsils. My symptoms were the foreign object in the throat feeling, trouble swallowing, food getting stuck in my throat, sore throat 24/7, voice changes. After they removed my tonsils the previous December, I still got food stuck in my throat a couple months later and I still felt the huge lump in my throat...

Avatar n tn I have had so many symptoms over such a long period of time, and no real diagnosis other than Hashimoto's. I find it hard to believe everything is not connected. Here are my symptoms presented in order of appearance. 1. Traveled out of country, was very sick with sore throat, white blisters, for over a month. Finally got over it with antibiotics. Now I get sinus infections regularly. 2. Joint pain started in legs. I have had this intense pain in my legs (and sometimes arms) for six years now.
Avatar n tn What is needed is the application of scientific method to the HYPOTHESIS that tx causes these conditions. Evidence based medicine is based(since the mid 1800's at least )on scientific method not patient's symptoms. ALL the people who have these symptoms form the basis for the hypothesis, the FIRST STEP in discovering IF there is a connection.

1183618 tn?1277368706 I am only 5 weeks into treatment. Currently taking 50,000IU weekly. My level was the same as yours. Friends who have seen me lately say I have better color in my cheeks and seem to have a little bit more energy. I have read that it can take months (3 to 9 or more) to get back they way you were, if your symptoms are do to Vitamin D def. You wrote "I still having some symptoms" Does this mean some others are improving? If so, I say keep moving forward.
475586 tn?1225027354 My knees do have osteoarthritis in them--I had an MRI. I also have 2 herniated discs in my neck and kyphosis. My sister has RA, so I thought I had it also, but the doctors say no. I have a rheumatologist who is very nice, although most of the treatments I've been getting for fibro are not doing much. He seems sure that other than my knees and my neck, what I have is fibromyalgia. I have pain all the time, aching and soreness and also the sharp, stabbing pains.

Avatar f tn Fingers stay swollen all day long. Main swelling is atop of the middle joint. A doctor at the clinic said osteoarthritis from xray. She gave me naproxen which I cannot take. What else can cause this and is NSAIDs the only line of treatment. Thank you for your time.
Avatar m tn Since then, I have gone to other doctors who tell me that yes hashimotos does show up, but it is minimal and they will not prescribe any thyroid medicine for me. I have heard two theories---one is that I was given thyroid medicine to suppress my thyroid gland from producing in an effort to keep the hashimotos under control. The other theory is that if my thyroid levels are within normal range, then it is impossible to have hashimotos disease; therefore, no thyroid medication is needed.

Avatar n tn I also have swollen places on my ankles and clavical bone, which I attributed to chemo or radiation. I have osteoarthritis but will not take medicine because of the side effects. I have had 2 steriod shots over a period of the 4 years and they have made the aching go away. Do you think the steriod shots make the aching quit. They have started aching again and it has been 2 years since I hfad a shot. My doctors just ignore me and say they don't know what it is.
454606 tn?1361929280 Too many back surgeries have left me with Arachnoiditis, which I understand quite well, and thanks to modern medicine, I can manage the pain. I can mark of those symptoms like entries on a bad grocery list. There is one symptom that effects my entire body that I don't understand, and after running the standard and not so standard Rheumatoid panels, my doctors don't understand either. I don't have osteoarthritis either.
