Avatar n tn I'm a 29 year old male. In 2006 I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee after an exam by an Orthropedic Doctor. He is a very fine doctor and very smart. The problem is that now many joints are hurting. My knuckles (on fingers not on hands), my elbows and both of my knees are hurting. It's been going on for about a 3 days. My elbows just started hurting then. I have a family history of RA. My doctor told me that the knee he looked at was for sure Osteoarthritis.

Avatar n tn It is located in front of ears, behind jaws, radiating up to eyes and down to throat--adams apple and the back of my neck feels stiff. I have since had periods of double vision, ears ringing or throbbing, and increasing difficulty swallowing. I was missing several days of work at a time, he put me on the anti-seizure stuff they are using now which allows me to work but not effectively. Took me off analgesics.
147426 tn?1317269232 As I read your story it it brought tears to my eyes not only for the saddness of it but for the symptoms we have in commom and the fact that I cannot get a single doc to listen to me either. I feel at times that I am crazy and that it is all in my head. I have also been told to go to a shrink! Yeah right! I refuse to go to those nut jobs which are crazier then any of us at our worst!!! I am so glad you now know what is wrong. And that you are not nuts.

Avatar f tn Hello All, So, I finally have an MRI scheduled for June 10th 2011, which was only ordered because I had 3 separate incidences of unilateral pupil dilation ranging from 10 minutes to an hour each time - no pain, no weakness, no paralysis - in fact no other symptoms other than my everyday symptoms & these were not worsened during the events (see list below).
623944 tn?1244039090 I'm recently diagnosed with Hasi's by my endo, but my primary isn't aware of it just yet. I will see him Dec. 2nd. He is the one that refered me to the endo but he also refered me to a neurologist because I'm having problems with low blood pressure. He thinks I have posterior orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. The more I'm reading on Hasi's - it seems the low bp is a symptom of that instead. And it seems I've had it for years!

Avatar f tn My neck is often painful, as well as my spine. Fine tremor in hands at times. When I close my eyes I can feel my eyes and eyelids twitching very rapidly. Not sure if they do but it feels like it. Sometimes in bed I wake up gasping for breath as if I have been holding it for ages. Sorry about all the symptoms. Some symptoms are constant, whereas others seem to rear their head, stay for a while, go into remission, and then come back at a later date.
527589 tn?1301681778 Since you have bone spurs, osteoarthritis and cervical stenosis, the symptoms are being aggravated. Please get an MRI of the brain. In fact you may need a series of MRI to diagnose to rule out MS. I think you have not consulted a neurologist so far and that is why you have been made to run around. Please take the MRI reports of brain, pelvic region and spine and consult a good neurologist.
Avatar n tn Hi Sebastiandelacroix- I am having some of the same symptoms as you and am wondering what it is also. I am interested in knowing if you have some of the others I have had...along with the involuntary twitching in my legs and numbness and tingling in my arms and hands I have had fatigue and migraines. My doc put me on a heart medication for my migraines and they have subsided for the most part but now the twitching and arm/hand probs have arisen.
Avatar n tn I cannot really look people directly in the eye sometimes because its too hard on my eyes (it strains them) even though I have perfect vision. Doctors have told me that I need no treatment and that Thallassemia has no symtpoms. I go to sleep tired and I wake up tired. I can be tired after 12 hours sleep! Can I be suffering symptoms from my thallassemia. Does any one else feel the same way that I do? This is a little bit hard for me, but I don't want to complain.
Avatar m tn Wave of dizziness/unsteadiness felt in head/eyes. Sometimes a feeling of pressure in head/mild headache. Feel the need to press my fingers into my eyes for light relief. Onset of this phenomenon started at age 7. Was referred to Neurologist(no longer practicing) and had first EEG test on 05/24/2000 along with an ear and eye test. MD concluded no abnormalities in any of the tests.

1183618 tn?1277368706 I am only 5 weeks into treatment. Currently taking 50,000IU weekly. My level was the same as yours. Friends who have seen me lately say I have better color in my cheeks and seem to have a little bit more energy. I have read that it can take months (3 to 9 or more) to get back they way you were, if your symptoms are do to Vitamin D def. You wrote "I still having some symptoms" Does this mean some others are improving? If so, I say keep moving forward.
475586 tn?1225027354 My knees do have osteoarthritis in them--I had an MRI. I also have 2 herniated discs in my neck and kyphosis. My sister has RA, so I thought I had it also, but the doctors say no. I have a rheumatologist who is very nice, although most of the treatments I've been getting for fibro are not doing much. He seems sure that other than my knees and my neck, what I have is fibromyalgia. I have pain all the time, aching and soreness and also the sharp, stabbing pains.

1711722 tn?1356491154 Osteoarthritis Vertigo -- Extremely more intense and more frequent Cycle -- Noticeably different during tx and pushed me into Pre-Menopause symptoms quicker than expected Eyes -- Back to back infections (went to Urgent Care for a 2nd opinion); pain; vision changes (ordinary aging but excelerated) Yes, my doctors are aware of these issues, but say it is not (now) due to the tx meds. BUT, I know what is normal for me and this -- this seems like tx sped up the aging process -- for me.
