Avatar n tn - Heat, cold, TENS device (short and long treatments), chiropractic manipulation, even acupuncture (I'm desperate) treatments have done nothing. - X-ray, MRI, CT scans, and Bone Spec all show that I'm normal. - Next up, I'm waiting to hear back from a sleep study that I had a few weeks ago. Also will seek out a message therapist for myofascial release which I've been told might give me one good night. I might seek out sleeping medication to try and just sleep through the pain.
Avatar n tn They are starting to break out at other places - aside from the neck, they are also showing up at the collar bone, right knee, right ankle - places where I have never applied tea tree oil or any topical. Nothing has changed as far as detergent, and I still use the same soap I have always used for years. This rash might be systemic rather than contact. The primary care doctor did acknolwedge the Albendazole could have caused the rash if I am allergic to it. The Bactrim may have compounded it.
551343 tn?1506834118 Hello Mrs A A forum where limbolanders can meet is long overdue, well done. My MS was discovered nearly ten years ago so that is what we consider my official diagnosis date. HOWEVER, we suffered through limbo because the neurologist I was with for years, whom I trusted, subscribed to the archaic notion that patients should not be told and didn't tell us. We have since discovered that this was a common scenario decades ago but, unbelievably, is still happening today and not just to us.

Avatar f tn yes, burning hot knife pain in several areas of the feet and a hot knife a couple inches above right knee... really the bottom of the right quadricep. Also, general achiness in my legs which I have never had before and extreme fatigue that can last 3 to 7 days and then I'll be okay for awhile, even though I feel as if something is wrong. Its chronic, but not in intensity. A bit of a roller coaster but I dread the mornings. Absolutely dread having to take those first steps...
Avatar f tn ---------------The only thing that helps are ice packs. ----------------------- Recently,I had an x-ray to check if I had any nerve impingement in my cervical spine - one of the possible causes but nothing showed so I continue to search for answers. I did get confirmation of the brachioradial pruritus from a great dermatologist who has only seen 3 cases in his 15 years on the job. He did a biopsy that he sent to UC Davis for confirmation.
Avatar n tn I suffer from exactly the same thing and tried everyting on the market. Then.........I came across a wonder pill. Its main active ingredient is Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Stops the itching within 10 minutes. It's sold without a prescription and works wonders. Ask your pharmacist for the no-name brand as it works just a well. The 4mg pill works for me. Give it a try. I'm sure you'll get relief.
