585414 tn?1288944902 Or, I get no warning of impending doom (that's what it feels like for me because so many problems are going to occur at once) and I am unprepared. Like today. Today, I am hypomanic. My symptoms are feelings of irritability, anxiety, skin crawling, lack of concentration (I mean more than usual), no attention span, insomnia (even with sleeping pills - but they at least give me a couple of hours of sleep) and the aforementioned touchy feely problems.
Avatar n tn Hello naturenurs4u, I am a 43 year male, having similar symptoms - ringing, stuffy ears, facial/jaw tightness and pain and a constant dizziness (mild unsteadiness) since last 4 months. Currently exploring TMJ investiagtions/treatment. Greatly appreciate if you will please share the details of the dr you found at Stanford Univ?
1216899 tn?1288573925 Hi, and welcome to the forum! :) I recognise some of your symptoms, and I think many of them can be realted to the D-deficiency. (If you read everyone elses lists you'll see that there are some similarities, but also differences - it seems like everyone is bothered by their deficiency in their own personal way, somehow ;) ) And yes, I recognise your feeling of being a shadow of yourself! I'm 30 myself, mother of two, and It's been horrible!
147426 tn?1317269232 I asked my Neuro for a second opinion and he asked whom and told him I wanted to see Peter Dunne at USF in Tampa, He agreed. While I was waiting for that appointment I started my treatments and felt my symptoms reversing but they did not fully go away. To this day (6 months later), my right abdomen is still numb and my feet buzz a lot and legs feel much weaker and somewhat clumsy. My right arm has started to feel a little weaker too.
Avatar n tn I have bulging discs and osteoarthritis and the avascular necrosis. The hip pain has been the worst of what I have experienced. The Dr's tell me having my hips replaced will cure most of the pain. I am now bone on bone , no cartiledge with cysts. I am just worried I have waited too long as now I have lost my muscle tone am not able to exercise at all now, sleeping more than an hour or so at a time is not possible most nights. My legs have a weird feeling now are numb and my feet and tingle.
Avatar n tn Hi, I'm 22 and also have many of the same symptoms. I'm aways tired and have been through major depression due to my constant fatigue. I also have some trouble breathing after exercising and feel dizziness. I've been through many tests but doctors have told me that it's all in my head. I wish something could be done to provide more awareness about the symptoms of thalassemia minor. I think more research needs to be done.
Avatar n tn I also was having heart palpitations and my fingers were cold and showing signs of clubbing on the fingertips. I also was showing signs of crohns disease. I went to the doctor (hospital) and they had no clue as to what was wrong. I showed them my fingers and the lady doctor just basically shrugged her shoulders. I told her about the crohns syptoms and she booked me for a scope in approximately 7 months. Terrible medical service, absolutely horrendous.
Avatar n tn Nope...It's definitly not the TP...and no signs of being perimenopausal. I did a biopsy and hopefully I will find out on August 1st what this is and be able to tell all of yall.
Avatar n tn He put my on a steriod and a saline solution for my nose to get better. In the mean time since i had this diagnosis my pains have became less and less and are almost completly non existent anymore. I do notice them more when I am really stressed but I am working on that............. Ok, next bit of information.
1047234 tn?1253547296 My son has the same signs and symptoms as we all do, and was born without a immune system and has been fighting viruses and illness all his life. He has had Singles 23 times and he is only 21 years old. I might Add That this Forum is Amazing! Thanks to Everyone who has submitted their stories, It has helped me greatly. Blessing to ALL!
Avatar m tn I had constant construction going on next door for the past 7 months and that was horrible - and then I went shooting and with all that I think my symptoms have gotten worse and often wonder if that may be the culprit but again what can we do about this - it is altering life as I use to know it...
Avatar n tn You have some symptoms (whole body burnng pain and scoliosis) which I did not. I however had (and still sometimes get) symptoms you did not mention such as pain in my chest muscles and arm, and the inability to turn my head. The following is my opinion only, not a diagnosis. You may have other problems I am not aware of. Disclaimer aside: Your problems to me sound like they are due to muscle imbalances. The fact that your pelvis is 2 1/2 inches out of whack is huge. no wonder you have hip pain.
748543 tn?1463449675 What's more is that I find that dental malocclusion is frequently one of the principle causes of the TMD. The article went on commenting that MRI and CAT scans are among the biggest advances in diagnosis of TMD, that is just ludicrous. While those are valuable diagnostic tools they do not show what is the underlying cause of the misalignment. I frequently find that to be the malocclusion.
211940 tn?1267884866 I'm SO PLEASED that I found this forum! I've had many of these same symptoms of burning in my upper arm and pain in my elbow and shoulder blade. And it hurts terribly when I lie down to try to go to sleep. I also had the pin/needle test in my arm, which the doctor said that he had to stop because I couldn't stand the pain! The good news is that MRI's of the neck, C2 to C6, of the elbow and arm, of the shoulder showed nothing abnormal except for normal aging issues.
Avatar n tn The blog aims to dispel all the hype and nonsense out there and identify treatments for sagging/wrinkling/hair loss, etc. that actually work. The blog is Middle Ageless and if you google that you should find it. The Ageless Beauty tab has many topics of interest to do with crepiness etc. There is also a list of the most popular posts down the right-hand side. Cheers!
Avatar n tn The doc says the upper level has not fused all the way. The verdabrea may be moving. Does anyone know what causes this and what to do about it ?? I will now try calcium in high dose to aid bone graft growth.
Avatar n tn I have talked to the neurosurgeon who did the surgery and he shrugged his shoulders and said I have no idea and sent me back to my neurologist. He gave me a series of injections in both shoulders and the pain stopped for a couple days but then came right back. Then we tried message therapy, it helps but only for a short period. And I have tried changing my pillows on my bed and sleeping in different positions and nothing seems to help for long term. What can I do?
931217 tn?1283484935 Today's popular press often extols the supposed virtues of more "natural" ways of living, and approaching illness. There are a wide variety of theories and modalities, that together make up the broad category known as "complementary and alternative medicine (and veterinary medicine)." These approaches to health and disease are not monolithic and therefore their merits or lack thereof cannot be discussed as a category. Each must be examined alone.
Avatar n tn I did have a cyst on my achilles years ago that is still there, and I have noticed one in one of my fingers that also has the symptoms. Keep the thread going and please report back with any news...
454186 tn?1388978568 because patients with left hip pain, bed-ridden and unable to carry out routine inspections, epithelial gluteal nerve after the iliac ridge, the sciatic nerve exports, a sharp patella highly sensitive ,x-ray normal inspection , the diagnosis __ spinal soft tissue damage and pain, and the implementation of zak acupuncture, Results: After a period of treatment, and the pain is alleviated, and discharged. A year later, because of cancer metastasis, the patient died.
Avatar n tn I had surgery (ACDF C4-C7) six weeks ago and the recovery has been great! Most of my preop symptoms were gone within 3 hrs of the surgery. I would not hesitate to have the surgery again. This does not mean that you will need surgery at this time, but it is a good idea to get all the diagnostic testing done upfront to enable your doctors to establish the most appropriate treatment.
748543 tn?1463449675 One of the most difficult concepts to get across to my TMD patients and other doctors is the connectivity of the Jaw and the Neck. In fact, it is my strong belief that TMD/TMJ should really be classified as a Craniocervical Disease and hence fall under the umbrella of medical coverage rather than treated strictly as a dental problem. To the Neuromuscular-minded dentist, "Occlusion" is an extension of general Postural Consideration.
529981 tn?1212853666 Also I have tried, salycylic shampoos, tar shampoos, jojoba oil, AND nothing seems to help. Please help me and my hair. I am a busy college student, who unfortunately does not have the time and money to deal with this.
Avatar f tn Hmm, I read your original post again and thought to ask you if you have been treated with desiccated natural thyroid instead of synthetic forms. Also, have you ever been tested for reverse T3 (rT3)? fT3/rT3 ratio is probably the most reliable marker for low cellular thyroid function. Joanne and Gzsimo: Dr. Lowe from the Fibromyalgia Research Foundation supports the premise that most fibromyalgia patients are either hypothyroid or thyroid hormone resistant. Hope this helps.
2126606 tn?1346348724 This puts patients at risk for developing serious, and even fatal, health issues. Last year at the WAISMANN METHOD®and Domus Retreat, we treated about the same number of patients for addictions to Norco as we did for Heroin, OxyContin or methadone. Although not completely surprised, I was appalled to find out that many of these patients developed a dependency to the drug after they were given a prescription for a very small injury.
2033947 tn?1329441252 The disc is made up of two parts, the annulus and the nucleus. The annulus is the outer part of the disc and is made of many rings of cartilage-like tissue. The nucleus, a jelly-like substance, is at the center of the disc. As we age, the disc can dehydrate, making it less supportive and more prone to injury. The disc height decreases as the disc dehydrates and can produce chemicals locally that irritate the surrounding tissue, causing neck or back pain.
1450453 tn?1293764571 _________________ Babesiosis As with other co-infections, there is a lot of overlap of symptoms between Lyme disease and Babesiosis. An accumulation of the following signs and symptoms probably warrant testing and/or treatment of Babesiosis: ___Chills ___Fatigue and often excessive sleepiness ___High fever at onset of illness ___Night sweats that are often drenching and profuse ___Severe muscle pains, especially the large muscles of the legs (quads, buttocks, etc.
20857594 tn?1543813986 Especially hard with the original doctor who referred me to specialists and got all those diagnosis' and other signs written down by someone other than me, have either retired or is impossible to reach, it's a shame because it seems no medical professional will listen to me... Some of the diagnosis' from back in the day (2013 and before) are arguably wrong but pave the way for figuring out what the true autoimmune disease or other issue causing my Raynauds/Reynauds secondary syndrome is...
230948 tn?1235847929 There are all sorts of things, and you do want to be sure it's not one of them before falling back on a CFS diagnosis. You have a lot of CFS symptoms and it could be a classic case, but what you are describing could be something else too so 1st do the rule out.
Avatar n tn diagnosis and treatments by innumerable physicians -- all disciplines; acupuncture; spending a lot of $$$ on a holistic quack; PT; resting; exercising; heating; icing; endless diagnostic injections -- some steroid, some not; many, many x-rays and scans; every medication the doctors could think of; back-to-back surgeries... 1 for spinal stenosis and 1 for scoliosis... which installed 2 titanium rods and 6 stainless steel screws in my spine.
