Avatar n tn I get a lot of pain all down my legs and doctor says this is referred pain from the back. Sometimes the pains are tolerable. Over Christmas my back completely went even though I had been taking Codipar and Ibobrufen for my leg pains and had to get some Diazepam to help relax the musles to relieve the severe pain. I suffer from pins and needles in the feet too, sometimes worse than other times. Again I was told that this is referred pain.

They don't seem to know what to do. Could you please advise me on what I can take that will help with the chronic pain and will be inexpensive.
Avatar n tn This may help some of you. I have been sick for almost a decade and was dx. with fibromyalgia 6 years ago. (debilitating fatigue, pain everywhere, muscle spasms, hyper sensitivity to light and noise, migraines, overall felt like total crap and at its worse was considering my life not worth living. Receiving the dx. of fibro, meant only that I had symptoms like a lot of other people that MD's don't know how to treat.
Avatar m tn / I knew my condition was bad b/c of the amount of pain I am in but wasn't expecting that especially @ 32 with a 4 yr old and 7 month old!! Anyways, he adviced pain meds and synvisc-one injections until we couldn't control the pain enough. I tried the injections. I won't lie the are a bit painful. My right one was just uncomfortable. The left one hurt way worse. I have no idea why but it even swelled up and I had to stay off it about 24 hours b/c of all the fluid on it.

Avatar f tn Sleeping on it is the only cause of the numbness however, the numbness will last all of the next day but be less worse in the evenings then it is in the mornings. I sometimes experience tingling as well. The area of the numbness is only about the size of a softball located under the hip bone on the very upper portion of the thigh on the side of my leg. Last night I woke up in pain and not only was I experiencing numbness there was also a burning sensation when I went to touch my hip/thigh.
Avatar n tn He has given me shots that have somewhat helped, I am still having numbness down my right arm and hand. What is your advice? Do I have to continue living with the pain? A small right foraminal entry zone extrusion contacts the exiting right C6 nerve root.
Avatar f tn I have a lot of low back pain, and pain going across my lower back to hips. I had a recent X-ray of both hips and pelvis. Ist said I had degenerative change of the pubic symphysis. and a malalignment of ps. I understand that part. 2nd. Old posttraumatic fragmentation at the left greater trochanter with cortical whiskering of the right greater trochanter superiorly. Scattered degenerative changes of both greater trochanters. I don't understand that.
Avatar f tn Are tingling, numbness, pins/needles, buzzing common symptoms/sensations in Fibromyalgia or CFS?
Avatar m tn My doctor came into the room, tested me for CT, and aftering determining I didn't have carpal tunnel told me I had RSI, wrote a presciption for Diclofenac and left. It took him all of five minutes and I didn't even get to finish telling him what was wrong. My finger joints are stiff sometimes, from typing and my wrist is tight/stiff. When I flex, I can feel a numb pain (not numbness as in can't feel) move along the back of my hand, in the pattern of my veins.
4848471 tn?1372238752 Ok, so here's my problem. I cracked my neck back in '07 REALLY hard and the next day I couldn't move my left arm. I eventually got the usage of my arm back, but I retained some very mild "dead man's hand" numbness in both hands. I think I also had the numbness in my right hand although I could use it. About two years after that I had numbness in the bottom of my feet of the same type. I can still "feel" my feet but it's that dead man's hand feeling.
Avatar n tn m wondering if your doctor was being creative in saying you have osteoarthritis which is the type of arthritis associated with age or over use of a joint.
