Last week I started getting some fever. The fever wa s low grade (99.2). It lasted a day. The next two days no fever. Then again one day of fever to 100. And again 2 or 3 days without fever. Is this connected with the arthritis? Re: medications.....I am very sensitive to medications. I did take tylenol once a day which helped for awhile. Now they do not help. Because of my advanced age I am reluctant to take anything strong (anti-inflamatory NSAIDS). My main question is the fever.
First thought 25 years ago to be Lupus and negative then MS I have MS like symptoms low grade fever and I also feel very cold even in the heat. it is like hot flashes sweats then cold. Very very cold feet and lower legs. Some days feel like rheumitoid but right arm weak and left leg. Have had many illnesses all my life. Someone who has same symptoms and could not get diagnosed finally was with Morgans disease. Could you please tell me if possible, what it is and how to get it diagnosed.
I had aseptic meningitis with Surgery number two and had the low grade fever, just barely got to the 100.5 and I felt terrible for days before I finally called, I should have called earlier!
I was offered a walker but choose to lean on my family instead :) Probably should have just taken the walker but didn't :)

Is a low grade fever normal with diverticulitis flare-ups? After three months of doctor's offices, specialists, blood tests, scans, mri's...now I have a fever to add to the mix. I was diagnosed with gastritis (endoscopy), so far. Gallbladder emptying at 47%, no stones or sludge...checked out due to pain that was throbbing under right rib. This week the pain has moved to left side, rib to hip. Hurts to breathe deep, wear a belt, sit, or anything that jars my abdomen or touches it.
6 sometimes even a bit lower but 2-3 hours after taking the thyroid medication I am getting chills and low grade fever that is usually between 99 - 99.8 and it lasts pretty much all day. I also have and increased blood pressure during the day 132/74 with heart rate 89. Could this be because I am taking too much thyroid hormone? Or is it something much worse? Has anyone experience temps like this while on Levothyroxine?
A month before that I felt so tired and had alot of lower ab pains. Also I ran a low grade fever for several weeks up until surgery 99.4 to 99.9, usually in the afternoon. I still had it even a few days after that. I am not a person that generally runs fevers. Also I have had Hodgkins lymphoma 15 years ago. I started running a fever again on and off ,low grade 99.4 is the highest so far within the last week.. I have also been getting headaches several times a week.
If you have recently visited a tropical country, then there’s a chance of tuberculosis too which presents as a low grade fever, loss of appetite and maybe with raised ALT. For that, you may need an Xray of the chest, ESR,tuberculin test etc.
You need a thorough examination and complete investigations as the doctors treat such patients as FUO (Fever of unknown origin).

my husband(manoj) is suffering from low grade fever (99.8 deg F) since last 15 days at night .1 and half month before he had 105deg F fever.He was admitted for 9 days.Dr said it was entric fever.his hematology,pathology,chest x ray.blood culture were done.
every thing found normal,onlyTH(1:320).he was given ceftiaxone 2gm injection 2 times daily for 9 days,and oral 500mg tablet of same for 14 days.He was well.but this time again after 1 and half month later he has fever along with headache.
I got a sinus infection shortly after and went through 2 rounds of antibiotics. No ARS symptoms. But for the last month I run a low grade fever from about 10-4 everyday. I tend to run on the colder side 96.7 - 97.4 so for me 98 would be a low grade fever. I know oral transmission if highly unlikely but I am concerned that I keep running warm everyday. Feels hot to the touch but only low grade if any fever?
I m 58 years old man. From last month I am feeling low grade fever 99 f and some time 99.5 f in evening daily.
Before starting this low grade fever I feel light cold and body ache
After taking 2 tablets of Panadol , I become OK a after one hour.
I have done many tests. My platelets count is elevated by 6.0 and my gama gt is also high by 268.
VIT d is insufficient 15.0.
ESR is elevated by 49.
Doctors are unable to diagnose .
Can any one help me?
It has never happen to me personally, but I have taken care of many patients it has happened to.
The joint pain is pretty typical, but I would report the "chilly all the time and low grade fever" to your Oncologist as soon as possible.
Have your counts been checked recently?

Yes, I had one day fever 100.5 and very sore throat and developed full blown cold but fever I suspect was symptom for inflammation coming on. Because following mild neck/back/ shoulder pains, I was attacked with unbelievable painful locked shoulder joint which I believe was delayed adverse reaction from Augmentin. Never will take it again although I had it before and didn't have problem then.
Other causes could be SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) and other auto immune disorders, UTI, drug fever, sinusitis, glandular fever, otitis media, IBS, HIV, STDs, endocarditis, parasitic infestations (quite possible as you have a high eosinophil, hence get a stool test done), fungal infections, lymphomas and other cancers etc. Low grade fever is also seen in anemia, diabetes, hypothyroid states, overwork, stress and fatigue. Dehydration is another cause.
I have had blood tests for arthritis, Osteoarthritis and connective tissue disorders. All came back clear. These were all reviewed by a specialist who said there was nothing he could see that could be causing the problems. So now I have no idea what to do?? hi guys in experiencing this weird symtoms after i had a protected sex with a girl, the next day i feel tired and kinda warm then i got a low grade fever for a month now and also a phlegm in my throat whitish wont go away, i think this phlegm is like 3 months and my fever is 1 month + , i only have phlegm but i dont cough and more often i feel tired all day because my temp is warm
i conducted hiv test result non reactive also did x ray and all are normal

I have been having low grade fever, mild body ache and chills since 21st of June 2016 almost more than one month , first when i went to Dr. he gave me amoxillin 500mg for one week. I took only 3 doses of antibiotic with 3 doses of paracetamol and stopped.
again 2nd episode was on 8th of July I started to feel chills and low grade fever on & off and I was waiting the fever to go on its own.
