Avatar m tn In prior studies, coffee consumption has been linked to a wide range of health benefits including reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome and several types of cancer, the researchers noted as background. Avatar f tn Basically, it’s best to use as much organic, “free-range” food as you can afford. And if you drink coffee or tea, make sure you only buy the organic versions: Commercially grown coffee and tea are some of the most pesticide and herbicide contaminated crops in the world. Also be sure your drinking water is as pure as possible. Filter out chlorine and other additives, and if possible fluoride, too, although that requires more expensive technology.

2059648 tn?1439766665 No, the remarks about coffee are not fact. It claims coffee is entirely grown outside the US. I lived in Hawaii for a while on an organic coffee farm. In fact, I didn't know anyone who sprayed their coffee. It's an easy crop, at least there. We roasted our own beans in our kitchen on the lanai ( deck). I got kind of skeptical about so-called carcinogenic substances when a while back, it seemed like every other day, a new one was declared.

Avatar f tn I try to get the organic coffee by the way, and I use half and half, my bad habit, but it brings out the flavor for me, more then just whole milk. Never any sugar added though. This is how I was raised, and my mother has the same habit, and I associate it with her, and comfort, etc. On a side-note, I always suffered from terrible nausea (morning sickness) during the first trimester of my pregnancies, and my coffee habit (and hard-boiled eggs) always settled my stomach.

Avatar n tn For the past 3 months, I have been very irregular. I work full time which causes me to miss meals, previously I used a colon cleanse diet plan which was causing me to go maybe 3 times a day. Now I'm lucky if I go maybe every other day to every three days. I am currently constipated, for about four days now. I have been loading up on benefiber, taking it three times a day, and had no urges to go. I don't want to do an enema because I've heard they are not good for health.
