I have had a psychotic breakdown in Jan 2013 and since then major depression,felt so bad tried to kill myself with an overdose in June and since then started on venlefaxine up to 225mg to present-previously was on Prozac 40mg. I am so fed up of feeling nothing from anything,wanting to eat all the time and everday being the same-tearful and no hope. is it possible another SSRI would work for me rather than the SNRI I am taking?

Can someone give me either the symptoms or the timeline for an Ibuprofen overdose? And what's going to happen if I don't get treatment? I've taken approx. 40 200mg ibuprofen tablets, 32 hours ago.
t seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place. So my question is when would symptoms begin to show and when would death occur. I don't need exact times but if toxicity showed hours after an over dose and death came days after it would give me a timeline which is all I'm looking for. Thank you.
I am about to switch from olanzapine to seroquel. Is it ok to just stop taking olanzapine and start taking seroquel? I am on a very low dose of olanzapine.
I was put on olanzapine an anti phycotic on top of my fluvoxamine meleate 200mg for deap depression after and home invasion. While the olanzaoine was helpful with my depression i think it was also causing leg pain. the longer I took it for the worse the pain got and more pain meds I needed to take to get threw my day to just walk. Once I was strong enough to come off olanzapine I weaned my self off and the leg pain started to get better over time.
Unfortunately, today I find out that his best friend passed away of a heroin overdose, and my boyfriend has no idea. I cannot contact him directly, but I had his mother try to contact his counselor to see what he thought was best for my boyfriends recovery.
Does any addict in recovery have any input on a situation like this?
Sadly he had recently been doing a detox himself and decided to catch a buzz again ... the shot was too much and he died as a result of an accidental overdose..................
My family received a final decision on my sisters overdose. Her cause of death was suicide. Why would the corner rule that as she was found hovering over the tolilet trying to trow up all her Roxie's. She was on an all night drinking binge and mixing xanaxes oxies and who knows what else. It's another reminder of addictions ending. This news makes me feel overwhelming sad. Sometimes I feel so lonely now. It's a raw emotion.
While I have not taken it, I know that a good deal of the antipsychotics out there, including olanzapine, can cause sedation. Antipsychotics can also be activating where they will cause insomnia if you take them before falling asleep. I'm sure there are people here who have taken it and experienced sedation.

Both Olanzapine and Resperidone are atypical antipsychotics. So, basically, you will be taking the same class of antipsychotics. Resperidone is however a very potent antipsychotic. The response to treatment has been found to be more stable with Resperidone, so that’s a plus point with this drug. Both drugs cause similar side effects, but Olanzapine shows fewer motor function side effects than Resperidone in comaparative clinical trials.
They took me to psychiatrist that put me on olanzapine 10mg and kept me in the hospital for 10 days. Traumatic experience. Than after 2-3 months the doctor put me on 7mg, and now I'm on 5 mg olanzapine. It was harder to cope with rest of the world the first few mounts. Can a baby overdose off of hydrocodone, oxycodone , or Roxycodone through breast milk if the mother takes the right dosage, or slightly more, only once a day and not everyday. If he breastfeeds while its in the mothers system, is sleepiness a sign of overdosing? If so, can l the overdose possibly death happen after the mother is no longer on medication?
