Oily skin foundation

Common Questions and Answers about Oily skin foundation

Avatar f tn Since you have oily skin you might want to try loose powder foundation (any brand) like bare mineral because it absorb the natural oil from your skin and it doesn't give you the shine or oily face by the end of the day. Liquid foundation only good for natural to dry skin only.
5931867 tn?1397526593 I bought a new foundation and I hope it covers most of my acne but anyways has anyone experience breaking out so much early in pregnancy. I have oily skin but I never broke out so much like maybe a pimple here and there but now I have a lot of tiny bumps(mostly on forehead), dark spots all around but mostly in cheek area. If anybody had bad acne during pregnancy what facial cleaner you used that cleared up your skin.
Avatar f tn You said that your skin is oily so I think you should care more for such kind of skin types. You need to consult a good skin doctor in the first place. Know your skin and then treat it fairly. One of my friends had same issue and she got an acne treatment done from a cosmetic surgery clinic, Fairview Laser Clinic in Toronto. It worked well on her. I was so surprised to see her last time with her charming old clear skin again. But I don’t know whether it work shall on for you.
Avatar m tn I am a 50 year old female with extremely oily skin. I've had this problem since I was 12. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have taken ultra low doses of accutane to help control the oil production and if there were any side effects they experienced at this age.
Avatar f tn They are extremely noticeable and are making me very self conscience. I have always had oily skin and have been told they could be appearing from my face producing too much oil? If this could be the reason, what should I do? Is this hereditary? My younger sister of 7 years just got her first hole on her cheek. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
Avatar f tn So I've hit the dry flakey skin stage, It's horrible, I can't even wear foundation anymore because it makes it look patchy , I've always put moisturizer on daily but that isn't making any difference, are you ladies using for your dryskin that works?
312540 tn?1202309587 ) I have oily uneven skin tone and this makes my skin look flawless. it stays all day and makes your skin look health. it's cheaper than the brands u mentioned and u can pick it up in walgreens for about 8 bucks. :) good luck!
Avatar f tn I dont wear make up at all except for mascara. Foundation doesn't help at all lol my face also gets so oily its horrible so I got the facial scrub and apply it twice a day it works really well . Ugh the joys of pregnancy. !
Avatar f tn Okay, I hate to post something terribly long but I NEED help and I am willing to listen to any and everything. I am a 20 year old girl and I have been battling with acne since I was probably 12 or 13. I have tried Proactiv only to find it dries out my skin to the point where it burns. I have tried different topical creams both prescription and non-prescription. My acne is not cystic, it just seems to be kind of...sporadic I guess?
Avatar f tn I wash my face twice a day and after each wash I put on cerave moisturizer lotion. I have really oily skin and had medium/slightly severe acne. But pregnancy has kind of made my face a lot better.
Avatar n tn I try to cover this up with foundation, but my skin always flakes and makes it look worse. I have tried several facial lotions, scrubs, etc. to help with the flaking, but nothing works. Any suggestions?
1454858 tn?1306784378 I feel bad asking this question, when there are soo many other more important ones out there. I have been on the birth control pill for years. My skin was usually nice & clear. I do have very oily skin aand when & stopped taking the pill I noticed more oil & occassional acne. Now that I am pregnant my skin is Horrible! It is very greasy. By the end of the day I have a new zit (or 3-4!) Every morning there is some more! uggh. I am 33 yrs old for crying out loud!
Avatar f tn Moisturize with a daily SPF. If you have oily skin (i.e. your skin gets an oily sheen within an hour of cleansing), then you can skip moisturizer if your foundation has an SPF. If you don't wear foundation, don't skip the SPF because that will offer skin protection. Don't overload your face with products - nothing will erase wrinkles, you can only stave them off with healthy living, good diet, and a simple but effective skin care routine.
Avatar n tn I have a strange skin problem. Recently I have noticed tiny dots of liquid coming from the pores on my nose. It's barely noticable but I get quite paranoid about it and it's annoying with my make up. I'm pretty sure it's not sweat and I definitely don't have oily skin (I have eczema). What else could it be and how can I stop it? I have actually had a new foundation recently (17 sheer moisture) and it's since around that time I have noticed it happening.
Avatar f tn I have had persistent but fairly mild acne since I was 18 (almost 11 years now). Last year I gave in and went onto accutane for 8 months which transformed my skin from oily with constant but mild cystic acne (usually on my chin) to zero spots and just a slight oiliness. However, since lockdown I’ve noticed my skin has changed again on my chin. The pores on my chin and sometimes a few around my nose are constantly clogged and bumpy.
Avatar n tn The problem areas change and I still never have a truly clear face. I wash in the morning and night with mild soaps for oily skin. Apply an oil-fighting deep cleaning astringent in the mornings and use oil free spf 17 foundation. I am interested in an oral prescription (several recommendations preferred) and opinions on photodynamic therapy for acne. I now work in China in a small city and don't fully trust the oral options presented here.
Avatar n tn than suffered from very bad break outs my skin was red and had bumps that turned into acne. i always had an oily sheen even after just washing my face, very shiny i am now 29,i get a few little pimples a week that last a day of two, they are not bumps just enlarged pores with white stuff in them that clear up after i evacuate them. if i squeeze my skin on my cheeks or nose een when a pimple is not present, white stuff comes out.(yes i know you shouldn't do this.
Avatar f tn Second baby was a boy. Had no greasy hair nor oily skin. My third was a boy and had no greasy hair nor oily skin. Im thinking im having a girl because her hormones and mine are raging. I feel so ugly. Ive never had greasy hair nor oily skin or acne when I was a teenager or pregnant except with my first girl. I dont know what to use. My face is sensitive already so I use minimal product. I also usually have beautiful natural skin so I dont use makeup except a little bronze.
Avatar f tn Mine was totally fine until I started my third trimester....now it's extremely oily and I have patches of flaky skin that are raw red itchy and very oily....does anyone have some clue as to what causes this and what will make it go away!!??
Avatar f tn i have extremely oily skin and i think its because i use my acne medications such as differin and duac but even though i wash my face 3 times a daii it is still oily and its worse during parties because i cant wash my face then..? wat should i doo..any herbal remedies as well?
Avatar f tn What can i use for oily skin & some.breakouts..
Avatar f tn Does your skin tend towards oily or dry? Black skin is usually more resistant to wrinkles as it ages than white skin, but other than that, the color matters less than the oily/dry question in terms of treatment (except about the elbows, where it is a good idea to exfoliate often if the skin tends to look "ashy" there). If your skin tends towards oily, you can use stronger and more astringent soaps (made for the face) and if it breaks out, some of the vitamin A-based products.
11260219 tn?1416651765 The simplest way to minimize it is to wash your face to prevent oily skin that causes pimples. Use moisturizers to revitalize dry skin. Remember to consult a doctor before using chemicals for treatment. I know someone who used several treatments just to remove acne and pimples and the results was not that good. It became even worse than before. Fact is not all chemicals are compatible with our skin. Which is why we need consultation first before using anything.
