So I've hit the dry flakey skin stage, It's horrible, I can't even wear foundation anymore because it makes it look patchy , I've always put moisturizer on daily but that isn't making any difference, are you ladies using for your dryskin that works?
I dont wear make up at all except for mascara. Foundation doesn't help at all lol my face also gets so oily its horrible so I got the facial scrub and apply it twice a day it works really well . Ugh the joys of pregnancy. !
I try to cover this up with foundation, but my skin always flakes and makes it look worse. I have tried several facial lotions, scrubs, etc. to help with the flaking, but nothing works.
Any suggestions?
I have a strange skin problem. Recently I have noticed tiny dots of liquid coming from the pores on my nose. It's barely noticable but I get quite paranoid about it and it's annoying with my make up. I'm pretty sure it's not sweat and I definitely don't have oily skin (I have eczema). What else could it be and how can I stop it? I have actually had a new foundation recently (17 sheer moisture) and it's since around that time I have noticed it happening.
I have had persistent but fairly mild acne since I was 18 (almost 11 years now). Last year I gave in and went onto accutane for 8 months which transformed my skin from oily with constant but mild cystic acne (usually on my chin) to zero spots and just a slight oiliness. However, since lockdown I’ve noticed my skin has changed again on my chin. The pores on my chin and sometimes a few around my nose are constantly clogged and bumpy.
I agree with specialmom about the sebum. We all produce it.

Keeping your face clean aka washing a couple of times/day can help keep the skin clear, but if you wash too often or with harsh soaps, you can make things worse by drying the skin too much.
Second baby was a boy. Had no greasy hair nor oily skin. My third was a boy and had no greasy hair nor oily skin. Im thinking im having a girl because her hormones and mine are raging. I feel so ugly. Ive never had greasy hair nor oily skin or acne when I was a teenager or pregnant except with my first girl. I dont know what to use. My face is sensitive already so I use minimal product. I also usually have beautiful natural skin so I dont use makeup except a little bronze.
Mine was totally fine until I started my third trimester....now it's extremely oily and I have patches of flaky skin that are raw red itchy and very oily....does anyone have some clue as to what causes this and what will make it go away!!??

Washing does little to seem to stop the oil production and in many cases makes things seem to get even more
I'm having a boy and the same thing happens to me. My cheeks and t zone are dry but my nose is oily. I use the gel lotion from clinique because it's really lightweight or just put lotion on the dry spots. Have you tried a less harsh cleanser?
It does not itch, and is not raised or flaky. I also have very oily skin and my skin does not get dry very often.
I went to a skin specialist (that does laser treatments, peels etc) and the man said to be it seems like it is rosacea. Is this possible that I have it with just redness and nothing else? and also is it possible to get it at such a young age!?
I was really tempted to get laser done, but its so expensive and not sure if It will make any difference..
I absolutely felt this way my first trimester! I never used to wear foundation and now I wear it everyday toake my skin look better! It does get better though as you get into second trimester and have a bit more energy, I also got acne all through first trimester which I also have never gotten in my life! This went away too though, there's hope to feel better try your best!! Go get a manicure or pedicure to feel better!!
hi i would say the same as the others probally due to oily skin try using a face scrub for oily skin dont use to much moisturiser try and find one that is suited to ur skin type. i find the clean and clear for oily skin range is great but everyone is different.try keeping ur hair out of your face as this can cause oily skin and drink plenty of water and get plenty of fresh air.oily skin is nothing to worry about as it is just your skin type that can be managed.hope this helps.
My face and hair have become so oily. I can't stand it. It make me feel dirty. Does anyone else have this problem? What did you use to make it stop?
