Morning. ...I totally agree with you....something fishy is going on within this app because all of a sudden there are a ton of "odd posters", new names/faces that can't possibly even be of middle school age based on the conversation and responses.

things have changed dramatically on here and I was just wondering about the different posters...especially after the last fiasco...we are a group united by differences to try and help those that need us...I also was lucky not to have ovca but I want to help whoever needs me, lend my support,pray for them and i have learned to love so many women on here...I am not going anywhere...just wondering what has happened and who are all the new posters thats all...thanks for answering ....

and she came over last night to look at my dog.. the tick bite.. anyway she wants me to come in the office today and do an U/S on me?... says its the same as what the hospitals use. what do you guys think? I told her my story on what happened this past weekend.. and she wants to take a look. Is this just crazy or what? I think Im going to do it...

I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 8 years. we sedate 3-4 patients a day in our office(between 3 doctors). We use two medications to sedate our little ones. Chloral Hydrate and Vistaril is what we use. Age 1 to 10 years old. These medications are concious sedation meds. They have a very high index of safety because it is done based on a range of weights. Making it hard to over sed. Unless you just don't go by the guidelines.

In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!

I've posted a photo of the letter we received from the district outlining the changes to be put in place following the Sandy Hook tragedy. I apologize if it's hard to read, plus I edited out names for privacy purposes. I am actually shocked the district was so quick to implement these changes, and I'm pleased. I don't think the gun debate should have anything to do with what each school district decides to implement for their children's safety.
