Avatar f tn I was so happy to find out that there are message boards out there that I can use to connect with others who have afib. I saw a cardiologist for the first time two weeks ago. He put me on Pradaxa 150 mg 2X a day. Is there anyone on here who takes pradaxa/coumadin/other blood thinners who also has a family history of aneurysms? If so, did your doctor put you on a lower dose because of it? Aneurysms run in my family (father, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, uncle).
8520554 tn?1398806988 Your doctor doesn't have an answering service? For me, if I have any problems and call after hours there's a 24 hr on call midwife that is there to answer any questions. Personally if I ever have to leave a message I leave my name and phone number never a "detailed message" of what's wrong with me (usually when I call it's TMI so I prefer not to). Maybe on your next visit address the issue with your doctor.
Avatar f tn Mine either are not going to the sender (as per the message that I am receiving on the screen such as unauthorized user, blocked, etc.) or they just delete and do not go. Sometimes they are not even on my sent list. Is a person block with the red box or the green box? I have tried it both ways. Even MedHelp has not responded so I am presuming that my questions are not going to them. I am just having a lot of trouble with this new system.

3062962 tn?1406743961 I was told that she would be answering messages from home, so I left a message asking what I should do. I never got an answer back. Called the office back on Friday, they said that she still wasn't in but that they hoped that she would be on Monday (today). So I call as soon as the office opens this morning to ask if she was in. She was, but they said that they can't fit me in anywhere. They have a few morning appointments, but I can't get there until 1:00 because of my work.
Avatar f tn You can try to speak with the RN at the office. You can ask for assistance from an alternate RN if one RN also lacks perspective. You can ask to leave a message with your doctor to call back. You can ask your doctor at Mayo for some advice. You can ask the people at Mayo to contact your doctor and alert him to any serious matter in your case. You can call your doctor's associates and ask to speak with them. 2. you might need a better doctor.
Avatar f tn I ordered Medavir On March24th. Its has been 2 weeks now. I never recieved package and when I track my packge, It only shows that "electronic shipping info was recieved on March24th." and no further scan transaction.. I called them 4 times and left message but nobody called me back. I couldn't talk to main office because they only provide order department phone number.
Avatar f tn Here are a couple of links to artivles which discuss the pros and cons of silicone versus saline implants. They deal with safety and the feel compared to real breast tissue, but don't go into the comfort factor, so they may not provide the information you are seeking. They also do not deal with the gummy bear implants, so you would have to research those separately: http://www.breastimplantinfo.org/augment_4faq10.html http://www.drdonnica.com/guests/00012319.
Avatar f tn Just retrieved a phone message from my Dr's asst. from early last week that I had some abnormal 24 week lab results and that he would like to see me a week early. Last Monday I stopped by the lab and left town. I called in on Thur. and was asked to come in for another blood draw as soon as I get back...didn't know that there was any problem. Usually have results faxed to me. So this news was a surprise to me tonight.
Avatar n tn I have been a pediatric dental assistant for over 8 years. we sedate 3-4 patients a day in our office(between 3 doctors). We use two medications to sedate our little ones. Chloral Hydrate and Vistaril is what we use. Age 1 to 10 years old. These medications are concious sedation meds. They have a very high index of safety because it is done based on a range of weights. Making it hard to over sed. Unless you just don't go by the guidelines.

Avatar f tn In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!
