8255052 tn?1399861806 I'm the first on the waiting list for my induction for monday! They told me I will get a phone call over the weekend if 1 of 5 ladies go into labor so I can have there spot on monday! Omg waiting for other ladies to go into labor?? Hell I want to go in to labor! Lmao I hope one of us pop before monday!
Avatar n tn Foreign bodies are also potential risks, and safety aspects need to be considered on an individual basis. Interaction of the magnetic and radio frequency fields with such objects can lead to trauma due to movement of the object in the magnetic field, thermal injury from radio-frequency induction heating of the object. If there were a problem, it would be due to induction heating.
Avatar f tn It appears that I'll be waiting around even longer for my little one now if he doesn't make an appearance before hand on his own. I'm really upset that once again, my doctor can't keep their word. My induction was supposed to be scheduled for this coming Friday but now it won't be until the 21st...she claims they are too busy until then at the hospital. I'm really upset.
448723 tn?1301454958 That is a bummer! But try and remember their making these choices for the safety of you and your baby. They wouldn't delay the induction unless they thought it was the best thing for you both. So hang in there, she'll be here before ya know it! Keep us posted!
Avatar f tn t predict when a mom will naturally go into labor and since an induction is scheduled the hospital needs to have safety as the first goal. Unless you need an induction for a medical reason you have to be somewhat flexible as labor and delivery is never a predictable situation. I am sure you would much rather have a nurse's attention then hang out at the hospital unnecessarily. Hang in there and from experience I am sure they will get you in as soon as possible!
Avatar f tn s own, im 40wks but i know you can carry safety to 42,and i had a ultrasound yesterday they said baby looks great everything looks great, so why the hell is she trying to push her ways on me, the first thing she said upon walking in is "i can't believe imma have to induce you", never spoke not one word with me to see what i was thinking about induction, which im against if not necessary, but doing the dilation and effacment check i felt her swipe her finger around it hurt pretty go
Avatar f tn The 26th if when he'd set an induction date.
Avatar n tn The reason they do not let you eat is because there is a possibility for c section with any induction and you shouldnt have food in ur stomach during surgery. Hopefully u wont have one but its just a safety precaution just in case. I know how u feel. My induction took 3 DAYS, and I was STARVING too. Good luck hun, itll be worth it.
Avatar f tn With my first child, I was induced and hopefully they'll induced me again because I don't want to be walking in a store and my water breaks Lol, it'll be embarrassing. But when you get induced, you have to fast all might just in case they have to do an emergency csection.
3062962 tn?1406743961 Well, just got a call from my doctor's office. Doctor went ahead and scheduled an induction for tonight. Cervadil starting at 8 and then pitocin in the morning. Wish me luck!
9790167 tn?1405909589 But with my, I will be 39 weeks on thurs and my midwife is encouraging an induction do to my endometriosis, my spine, and my hips. 6628393 tn?1398789276 So I called the doctors office to ask about what doctors work at L&D on which day so that if I have a choice of days that I can pick the doctor I would want and not be stressed and unhappy with the one I dont want. Well I didnt really get anywhere but they did say if my cervix is ready and good that the night before induction I would get the gel in my cervix. With my last I had pitocin because my water broke. Does anyone have any experiences with the gel?
Avatar f tn Im amazed you got this far. Ur a fecking rock star. I'm miserable just being this big let alone the list of things that are not going your way. Dont leave the docs office until they agree. Most obs are happy to schedule. Tbh if I was in your shoes I'd be ringing the receptionist/midwife in ur ob office and asking for them to just book you in now for induction at ur next app. I'm sure your OB is already aware of most of your issues. Esp at 70% effaced and a healthy weight for bubs.
1068361 tn?1290628159 OMG! My dr. is worried about my blood pressure. She has scheduled an induction for tomorrow. Wish us luck!!! Sooo excited!!! Hoping and praying it works!
Avatar f tn My doctor decided we will be inducing next Monday due to high blood pressure & low platelet count. Im only 37w 4d. I have so many feeling going through me. I found myself tearing up 3-4 times before we even left the office. Any advice on what I should expect & all the extra prayers would be appreciated.
8975030 tn?1402144712 So, today they had me do a NST. Baby wasn't doing as good. Doctor made me eat and wait a hour to retest and she's doing better. I have an induction date for Tuesday. But I'm dilated to a 4 and he stretched my cervix so HOPEFULLY baby come this weekend.

Avatar f tn I did at 40 weeks because they told me I was having a ten pound baby. That was ten years ago. But aftergoing through that the first time I won't do it again. Im going to wait for mother nature to take its course. Good luck.
1533382 tn?1357962152 Thanks ladies! Yeah the hunger part really su.cks bad..I'm already shaking and weak and extra tired. So far idk if there's any change but no baby yet. Pitocin is up to 14 so were just waiting! Luckily, my dr is the on call dr all day today so if I go past office hours, she'll still be the one delivering me. Water isn't broken yet, she now mentioned something about 2pm...I just want it over with! I'm ready for my little girl!!
Avatar n tn That I will be seeing another dr that works in the same office this thursday. Can that dr give an ok for an induction?
Avatar n tn However, in saying that, if you have been advised to be induced then it is usually for the safety of your unborn child and that should rarely be questioned. Speak to whoever is suggesting the induction and ask what the repercussions would be if you decided to go full term. I'm being induced in a week and a half at 38 weeks and to be honest I can't wait. I'm so over being pregnant and just want my little man safely in my arms.
Avatar f tn 38 hours!!! Omg! Everyone told me induction means u will have a c-section.
Avatar f tn Ob was busy so said they would come back in a few hours to start induction. By the time they came I was already 4 cm at around 4 pm and they decided against induction since I was progressing. All the way until midnight I was trying to avoid pain medications but because I barely had any sleep from 2 previous nights I couldn't stay awake between contractions and I honestly thought I was losing it.
