i have an adapta DR pacemaker, and was implanted little over 3 years ago. from time to time i get a burning sensation around my lead and pacemaker connection, with this i will have a pain from that area to my shoulder. my wires/leads stick out under my skin a little more then rest of my pacemaker, but i dont know if this is common since my pacemaker is placed on my right side of chest.

So I am on a TON of cardiac meds, and mostly paced... does that make me any more likely to have strange cardiac responses to other stimuli. I do notice that trying to stretch my left arm across my body feels like it squishes the pacemaker a bit, but if i move my arm down a few inches it feels fine. When I do any exercise that really contracts the muscle that my pacemaker lies under, I pay attention to how it feels and stop or switch positions if it feels like it is putting too much pressure on the pacemaker.
