He prescribed nystatin triamcinolone acetonide and I used it twice a day as instructed. I noticed a small difference of it getting better, but it is not gone. Every once in a while I feel a sharp pain there. What should I do? I am willing to do anything to get rid of this. Should I keep putting the nystatin triamcinolone acetonide on? I would appreciate your input.
I’ve had what appears to be balanitis for 8 months now. I’m uncircumcised. I’ve tried ketoconaznole, triamcinolone, hydrocortisone, nystatin& triamcinolone. Also used basic lotions etc. basically nothing has worked. The most recent dermatologist I saw said that I have balanitis that turned into dermal hyper sensitivity/ a sensitized skin. He prescribed desonide ointment that didn’t work and also prednisone. Gave me some epiceram cream as well.
I used some gloves (Nitrile Exam Gloves) and i had a bad irritation because of that. I stoped used the gloves anymore and I went to the doctor. He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%.
Ask the Pharmacist at the drug store you got them from, if they were prescribed call and ask the Doctor ...
i then decided to go to see a doctor few months ago. He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
I had a reoccurring fungal infection on the tip of my penis that I believe has been cured through oral fluconazole. Part of the treatment was Nystatin/Triamcinolone. For a time I also used Ciplopirox but it made the skin very waxy looking so I stopped that treatment. Now the underside of the Penis is pink in color and sex/rubbing in my underwear aggravates the condition, causing it to burn for a short period and get more red in color.

i went to the doctors office and she said it really didnt look like an std, she gave me nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. it hasnt let up yet. so i went to the health department and got all the std tests they havent come back yet. but the doctor that looks at all the stds there said she didnt think it was an std either. im just wondering what this could be and how to get rid of it.

ok ive been using the the nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream for almost 2 weeks and no real sign of clearing up. most of my std tests have come back and were negative. occasionally it looks as if its cleared alot but not for long. i started washing with antibacterial soap also thought maybe that would help. it really has no symtems at all except for the redness, it doesnt hurt, burn, or itch except for the occasional itch but nothing prolonged.

I went to my gyno with severe irritation on my genitals, and burning urination. Initial diagnosis was a yeast infection as well as a bladder infection. She prescribed me diflucan, an antibiotic, and nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. I wasn't able to immediately pick up the medications, and didn't begin treatment for another 10 hours or so. I was wondering if this could be caused by the skin of my penis being dried out. the skin seems to be much dryer than it used to be, as well as having what appears to be creases on the head of the penis.
I then went to my doctor for help and he advised at first it was yeast. So he prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide. At first it burned like hell so doctor suggested Lotrimin. So I tried lotrimin for a month, and it got worse. I tried Monistat, it didn't help but only temporary relief. I then tried lamisil, which seemed promising but eventually the irritation got worse and burned more. So I went back to the Nystatin and am currently on my 3rd week of use.
