nuvaring symptoms

Thank you so much for the advice. I already have two kids so I know what it feels like but the nuvaring also has similar symptoms. I'm gonna take a test next week to confirm. How long were you on the nuvaring when you became pregnant?

The nuvaring always made me have weird symptoms. I swear I thought I was pregnant all the time. I never was. But if you had unprotected sex and then put it in... well you had unprotected sex. Birth control isn't going to work until a week after you put it in which is why they say to double up the method. Best thing to do is wait until you're supposed to take it out and take a pregnancy test. Or take one now since you would have had sex 2 weeks ago and it should be pretty accurate.

Needless to say I forgot it in my car for a few days had intercourse with hubby then remembered I had not put in my nuvaring... dumb me I know!!! Now for almost a week ive been having pregnancy symptoms.. like double the intensity I had with both my children. Ive been readin online and it says to effectivly switch from implant to nuvaring it needs to be in for 7 days before implant removal.

Is pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, sensitive nipples, nausea, constipation, cramping, fatigue, increased urination) a side effect from stoping nuva ring? I had a normal period Dec. 18-22 and am not expecting my period until the 17 of jan. but my symptoms started the 24th of dec. I stopped nuvaring on dec. 15th. I have tried resting, drinking gingerale, drinking less fluids, eating more ruffage.

So when my boyfriend and I have sex it hurts. At first it hurt just in certian positions, now it hurts all the time. It's a burning/stinging sort of hurt and I was wondering if the NuvaRing caused a rash in my vagina. I've been using the NuvaRing for about 8 months now so I don't know why I'd be having a reaction to it now..

I recently had unprotected sex with my new girlfriend who is on the Nuvaring birth control (however isn't any longer due to this problem) and a couple days later I noticed an intense burning sensation on my penis head and shaft. I started taking Benadryl from the advice from a Pharmacist, suspecting it was an allergic reaction to the Nuvaring. The Benadryl helped slightly but I cannot function on it since it really knocks me out.

i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that its just not showing up positive yet?

That is most likely why ur experiencing these symptoms. No one can tell u if ur pregnant. You need to wait for a missed period to test or see a doctor.

I am sorry to hear about your issues with nuvaring. I had started the nuvaring for perimenopause issues my gyn said would help. No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.

I guess I should start at the beginning. I was on Nuvaring and was always regular (even when not on BC), I stopped Nuvaring Oct of 2015 due to having bad migraines, my gyn and I wanted to see if it was the cause. Still had them, so in February of 2016 I restarted it. I had a period the last week of Jan (was getting them every 2-3 weeks due to coming off of it). I had it again the week of Feb 2. I had protected sex Feb 5th and was still lightly bleeding then.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. It just ended Sunday after beginning one week before removing Nuvaring and only ending once Nuvaring was reinserted. i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere! i bought a test for the hell of it and it said PREGNANT! i was in complete shock because i had been on the nuvaring for a while! i used at end of JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and found out i was pregnant in october!!!
