I have started to experience a lot of pain during sex. I started on Nuvaring three months ago. After the first week I got my first UTI. I was told that it was not related to the Ring. Other than the UTI everything was fine and sex was a good as it had always been. 4 weeks later I had my first yeast infection also told that it was not related to the Ring. Following a week of treatment for the yeast infection I attempted to have sex and it was so painful that we had to stop.

if it was the NuvaRing you would've gotten symptoms right away. If you're having rashes and it hurts down in your lower regions you need to get to a gyno asap it could be anything from a severe yeast infection to an STD. GL and I certainly hope it's nothing serious.
s as common as a yeast infection and you have to go to a doctor to have Flagyl prescribed and it goes away almost immediately.I too have a good smelling vagina normally and when it smelled all of a sudden like rotten meat I totally freaked out.It is caused by common bacteria entering the vagina and it's not an STD.
The area itchs and it almost feels like a yeast infection, but there is no odor. I have been on Nuvaring for several years. I know I do not have an STD beause I have been to the OBGYN twice. I had switched to a birth control called the nuvaring which i dont recommend by the way, and all of the sudden i start feeling nauseaous after eating, so i finally get back on Yaz, I still feel nauseaous after eating and now i have a discharge that looks like a yeast infection but i have no other symptoms of a yeast infection. I decided to take my birth control, called nuvaring, out just in case that was what was causing the irritation. In the past, I have treated about 6 yeast infections through prescription and over the counter medications. I have also used home remedies such as yogurt, garlic, and baking soda to relief the itching. I’m not sure if this is another yeast infection, or some sort of reaction I have having to my birth control, the nuvaring.
Seven months ago my boyfriend and I began having sex, and about two weeks later I started my period but noticed that I was having major pain and itching internally and externally towards the end of my period. I went to the OB/GYN and I did have a yeast infection for the first time ever. I wasn't on any birth control, nor taking any antibiotics, not pregnant, and the pap came back normal with no diseases.
Have your partner use a condom as yeast can go back and forth. Douse a tampon in tree tea oil and insert. Take a salt bath. And keep regularly taking the probiotics.
And if it continues, you need to look into things like having a weakened immune system. Take a good multi vitamin daily. And the other thing to look into is diabetes if this chronic condition continues.

it just depends on the person it can give u yeast infections i use to get them alot but i use the nuvaring now n haven't got one i use non scented soaps i love the nuvaring so far
I took the pill she gave for the yeast infection and got monistat and have put cream on it and any pain I have had has gone away within the last 24 hours. I know the sores are still there, but they are smaller. Am I right to assume that a combo of all of the above has just lead to the most painful yeast infection ever? Or should I be worried about it being herpes since apparently unless you ask for it people don't usually get tested for it in a regular std check?
Reason I ask is because I have had on and off abdominal cramping, very dull, and last night my partner and I had rough sex and I bled more than I’m comfort with or usually do. It was very bright red, not pinkish and I continued to bleed for a couple hours after. I did perform oral on him as well. I’ve also had “strep” twice in the last month and it happens to come a couple days after I have slept with him or given him oral. I also just got over a yeast infection a couple days ago.
Various reasons for recurrent or persistent fungal infection are incomplete treatment treatment resistance, co-existing dermatitis, diabetes and low immunity. Diagnosis can be confirmed only after pelvic examination and swab samples of the discharge and cervix swabs. Treatment depends on the same. im 28 rys old, female and married. i've been suffering a yeast infection for almost 2 months now due to antibiotics. first the doctor gave me 7 day vaginal cream clotrimazole. But then, i still have the burning sensation after 7 days treatment. so i went to another doctor, and she gave me diflucan 150mg one pill only.i took it for the past 7 days. she said i would not have sex for 1 week. it will remains in my body for many days. but how come, i still have the burning sensation?
