Hi please can you help me. i don't know where else to try my 5 yr old is in main stream school see's a speach thearapist has done since she was 2 but we don't seem to be getting anywhere. she says about ten words in total but has not said any new words for about a yr now. she understands everything. has trouble reading at school because of her speech difficulties and writing is a huge problem. i'm really worried about her falling behind in school. please any ideas?
i am 15 years old and the one of the smallest in my whole school, i only weigh 40 KG and ive tried so much to put weight on but i just cant.
I live in Denmark, and I have been studying business economic and philosophy at Copenhagen business school for almost a year. One year ago I attended group therapy, so I know a few tricks of the trade, but I need an equal mined individual for "around the clock" support and understanding.
I do understand your issues with weight...I, too have been fighting the midlife bulge! I started suffering with literally uncontrollable weight gain, right about the time I was diagnosed with Fibro/CFS. I'm not too sure if there is any medical evidence that it is related, but I gotta blame this on something? LOL
I would recommend that you see a Nutritionist to see if there is something different you can do with your diet.
s meal plan every week and look for healthy, new foods to try. If need be most colleges have staff dietitian or nutritionist. A nutritionist may be able to help you set up a meal plan.
Hello! Welcome to MedHelp and thank you for posting on our forums. I'm sorry for the delay in response. This is a great question as so many and especially women eventually deal with this issue. Working with your doctor is always best and a doctor should listen to their patients. Perhaps they will still hold the idea that prescription medication is best to take, they can also be aware of your desire to avoid that and to use natural methods instead.
You could join the military or a trade such as welding or go to school... I think that the fasted way to a high paying career is through a trades union like union ironworkers and so on. Not to sound sexist, but as a woman I chose school, which is taking many years and it will pay off but if I had the muscle to bust rods I'd do it because it is high paying right away and increases after you become a journeyman, plus you can retire and they offer good benefits.
Will your parents help pay for continuing education for you and your boyfriend if you get married (i.e., community college or trade school - something that will help get you started off in a career path?)
Do both of you plan to graduate from high school?
Who will take care of your baby while you prepare for adult responsibilities?
I have not gained weight in the last 20years. I weigh the same since I was in high school. I would like a few curves here and there. My Dr's say I am perfectly healthy, but in my heart I know there is something wrong.

Did I understand that you've already started the Wellbutrin? Are you still on the Paxil as well?
My own personal opinion is that it indeed MAY help you...but a good number of people have a hard time tolerating Wellbutrin for one reason or another. Of COURSE everyone is different, and it may be FINE for you, just something to keep in mind.
If not, can he go get one? community college or trade school? Electricians and plumbers make lots of money--- yes, they work hard though and I don't know if your husband has any desire to do that. But if he checks it out--- they have all kinds of grant money and tuition assistance to help pay for it. I'd seriously consider that it he isn't working, he needs to be in a trade training program.
and this is what I'd worry about rather than gifts.
usually when i get home from school i eat alot like 5 snack and then tea. on school days i say i eat 500cal [not including all my snacks] inclusing snacks probably 1000cal or more? my sister didnt eat for a few months and she has a perfect body! is there any one that can give me tips on how to fast, or on how to lose weight FAST?
I have my goals to where i would like to take my life but when it comes down to it i just cant seem to get anything done. When I was 7th grade and accouple times in high school my teachers asked my if i was on any meds like riddlin. I asked my parents about it and they were against the idea because of the side effect etc. Now that I'm older and my life seems like a puzzle i cant put together, I wanna get some help for this.
i am a high school student and i have been in numerous sports football basketball wrestling track powerlifting and i have seen results since freshman year but i am now a junior and i am still big and i literrally eat like a veggitarian and i still see my face is chubby my stomach chest, etc what can i do? any dieting tips ? excersice tips i can do on my own?
Also, it is a good idea to think about how you are going to support yourself once the baby is here. Government programs are great helpers but you have to have a long term plan. School, college, trade school are essential so that you can pay your own bills and make your own way and be financially independent which should be a goal. These programs will run out eventually unless the switch to people supporting themselves happens relatively in short order --- they are meant to be temporary.
