You can find protein in meat, fish, eggs, nuts which would make a brill meal if you combined some of them together... like tuna, wholegrain rice with a mixed salad and pine nuts.

They are usually covered by insurance if you have it and can very helpful about reading labels and making smart food choices and learning to count carbs etc. As far as cook books etc just google diabetic cookbooks and you will get a million.

Then if needed you can follow up with a neuro oncologist and many other good resources. If it does turn out to be cancer, I would go see a nutritionist and go see Dr. Friedman and Duke University cancer center in Raliegh NC. The best that I know of. Avatar n tn Hi Charley, Was he diagnosed with Celiac Disease? If biopsy showed an allergy to wheat, is he on a gluten free diet, or have you only removed wheat? Gluten is in a TON of stuff that may or may not be on the packaging. Celiac disease is something that will not be outgrown. It is a lifelong disease. It is entirely possible that he is getting glutenized from something inconspicuous. Does he see a dietician or nutritionist to help you manage the "allergy"? They can be very helpful.

After the month I was symptom free. No headaches, great energy, and the muscle aches have subsided. I've been maintaining the proper diet, sleep, walking and moderation on alcohol. Was the diet plan your doctor gave you created with your input and have you discussed your concerns with him? I think it's very important to be able to communicate with our health providers, although I know very well that sometimes it's difficult.
