231441 tn?1333892766 Generally allergy to egg is due to the white portion and not due to the yolk. However you have started egg pretty early. The yolk is too heavy for your little one to digest now. Wait till she is eight months plus. Then also introduce a boiled egg’s yolk, just a small bite to start with. Once she is comfortable with the taste and the item, slowly you can increase the portions to a whole egg yolk at a time. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.
9214378 tn?1408881584 Egg yolks contain about three times the amount of omega-6 to omega-3, so I have always said if you are going to give eggs, give three egg whites to one egg yolk, so the balance becomes stable and beneficial. Egg whites have (obviously) far more omega-3, but they are also high in cholesterol, so feeding too much is not good for a dog's heart or cirulatory system. A much better source of omega-3 is salmon oil, as this has many beneficial properties and is easy to digest.
Avatar n tn It is unsafe to take only 800-900 calories! You need more calories to keep up with energy requirements and nutritional needs. See my original post. Just take your time with this program and do it right! What is the rush anyway? I think your gym instructor is a little too aggressive! You are a female, right? The needs for fat are higher in females so I don't see the point of only egg whites.
Avatar f tn I was wondering at what to put the nutritional value of food over the amount of calories they contain. For example, I regulate my calories fairly closely and usually am always well under the daily recommended amount, but there are some days that I feel like I am hungry all day. As a general rule, I enjoy eating raw mixed nuts as a snack, but they tend to be high in calories.
Avatar f tn I eat egg sandwiches all the time with the yoke. But I make sure the white part of my egg is cooked all the way. Is egg yoke okay too eat?
Avatar n tn Juice covers a lot -- virtually anything can be juiced if you're doing this yourself. Fruit juices contain a lot of sugar, but can also be powerful antioxidants, but vegetable juices can be very valuable. Wheatgrass juice is great. So this depends on what you mean by nutritional juices. Most important, avoid anything that's not organic. When you juice anything, you use a lot of it, and that enhances the amount of harmful chemicals that exist on whatever you're juicing.
Avatar n tn Some people will be allergic to proteins in both the egg white and the egg yolk. Egg yolk allergies may be somewhat more common in adults. A small number of people who are allergic to eggs will develop an allergy to chicken or other poultry meats. So I guess the best treatment is to avoid eggs.
Avatar f tn ve also developed a reaction to egg yolk since giving birth. Egg white is okay, but I get significant stomach cramping with egg yolk. I'm not sure if the egg and alcohol reactions are related. Thank you in advance.
Avatar f tn eggs, egg whites, lean breakfast meats, Greek yogurt, smoothies with protein powder. LUNCH OR DINNER: salmon, chicken breasts, extra-lean ground turkey, extra-lean ground beef, turkey or chicken sausage, lean beef , tuna, cod, shrimp, tofu. SNACKS: Nuts and seeds, roasted edamame beans, protein bars (pick bars with at least 10 grams of protein and no more than 30 grams of carbs), protein shakes.
8793709 tn?1409594060 I do the same as you, except that when hubby gets home I turn the stove back on to reheat it instead of microwave. I believe that even if it loses a little bit of the nutritional value, it's still healthier and cheaper than ordering or eating out.
Avatar f tn OMG! LOL! I totally forgot I posted this. Desperate times call for desperate measures... well I'm not too sure it worked just yet. It's a pain in the bum trying to get it in unless you have a turkey baster (which I do not). I didn't even tell DH about it. I'm actually a VERY modest person IRL and I just let my crazy side go wild on this forum! LOL! I couldn't tell him without being utterly embarassed. I don't even know that I got ANY in but I know I was ovulating.
Avatar m tn In case your Hemoglobin is low, you can have iron rich foods like liver, lean red meats, beans like kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils, iron fortified whole grains, green vegetables like spinach, tofu, broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, chicken, nuts, egg yolk and dry fruits. You can also have iron supplements along with these foods after consulting your physician. Hope that this information helps and hope that you will get better soon.
325405 tn?1262290178 I think if you freeze it, you would take away from the nutritional value. You could get the same nutritional value from eating bean sprouts on a salad. Would be easier for you.
1417802 tn?1282173063 Sorry to hear about your treatment not being effective.are you going to be treating again with the new DAA"s that are going to be coming out soon? There are many elixir"s and supplements people are taking for nutritional value and some it seems have value in regards to keeping liver counts (enzyme )readings lower. If the Hepa feels their is no harm ,and markers don"t rise..then yes nothing to lose Keep us informed and good luck.. Will.
Avatar n tn She is completely ignorant of any nutritional education and is therefore denying her son any nutritional value. She is also putting him at an extremely high risk for obesity, which in turn comes with all sorts of health issues. Cheese is high in sodium and can create high blood pressure--yes, even in children--especially if the other main part of his diet is salty chips. Eggs are high in cholesterol, and I doubt she is only feeding him egg whites.
1771524 tn?1324630658 (1). Sounds weird "asking out loud" but when checking for CM is the egg white stuff you see when you wipe & inspect or do u put a hand inspection to the cervix to check for CM??? (2). Egg White to indicate O is when it's present or starts going away when you should "try"? (3). Egg White: like a chicken egg when you separate the yolk that clear sticky stuff for cooking "egg whites" THAT's what you're looking for when looking for O time right? (4).
Avatar f tn As long as your eggs are pasteurized you will be fine.
Avatar m tn egg yolk is a source of vit d3, but why is it doctors saying avoid egg yolk if you have fatty liver...
Avatar n tn Buggie is right. That happened to me at 10 weeks but unfortunately I didn't have a baby, the sac all was there, its called a blighted ovum when the egg doesn't develop. Hope you will be Good. Hope I get a good egg next go!
Avatar f tn Ok im worried. The technician could only see egg yolk sac. I'm just hoping it's still too early.
Avatar f tn I'm 42 and 6-7 weeks pregnant. Ultrasound 2 weeks ago showed enlarged yolk sac (5mm) and very small fetal pole with no cardiac activity. Tech called it a missed miscarriage. I went in last week to confirm the loss, and the fetal pole had grown to 6w1d and had heart rate of 122, but the yolk sac measured 8mm. My OB said that with normal cardiac activity, she doesn't worry about yolk sac size; however, my RE said it's likely a bad sign.
