Avatar n tn my son is now 2 yrs 9 months old.he is 12 kgs and 91 cm height now.he is not putting on weight.during his 1 st year his weight gain was good and he as about 10 kgs by 12 months.after that he was with that weight for 1 yr. now he came to 12 kgs.he is very active and naughty.but i am very much worried about his weight gain.he is just in the 10 th percentile in his growth chart. please advice me.
Avatar n tn I pretty much eat the same, or maybe just a little bit more, as I did before for now. I usually eat fairly healthy anyways, but I have been more conscious about making sure I get more fruits/veggies. Today, I snacked on quaker oatmeal squares when I felt nauseated - and that symptom just started today - ugh.

743476 tn?1236614823 this will not ruin your life and actually, if your friends are your real friends they will understand and help you through this. if you dont take care of yourself now, it can affect you in the future. we (my boyfriend and myself) are in college now and he is actually doing much better than in high school. checking your blood sugar before eating is so important so if you dont eat right at this present moment, please be sure you are checking blood sugar.

5235065 tn?1369072032 I have been dealing with that for 6 weeks now, unfortunately, there is no cure. I have found if i nibble on candy all day it keeps the sick feeling to a minimum. I eat hot tamales or sour candies all day. I hope you feel better soon!
Avatar m tn Lentils, all kind of pulses, beans, peas, fresh or dried... then soaked and cooked. Chick peas I sprout now and then. Tempeh, tofu, miso, Dark rye bread, Danish style. Brown rice and other whole grains. All kinds of fruit in moderation. Yofu (Tofu yogurt) and chocolate tofu pudding dates and other dry fruit. herbal teas filtered water Virgin Coconut Oil, Virgin Olive Oil, and Virgin Sesame Oil Celtic sea salt chili And I have started eating nice French raw cheeses again.
417564 tn?1287982827 I stopped getting proper nutrition but kept up with the massive amounts of vitamins. I used supplements...but it would really take alot. I simply did not feel like eating, so I listened to my body and I did not eat...I drank water, I did everything else right. As our counselor said...I am no doctor. Vitamins are very hard on your stomach...especially coming off methadone because you lack proper gut function. Nutrition is of equal importance.
Avatar f tn re getting, etc. Now, most almond milk products are very high in sugar, so you might want to check that unless you're making your own, and some people don't do well on dairy products like whey, but assuming none of this is a big problem that's a pretty healthful shake for most people. But while shakes are great, is this something you want to continue for the rest of your life, or do you want to go back to eating?
Avatar m tn Only want to say, those foods are used successfully by bodybuilders, bu they aren't good for you. Now, bodybuilders will consume pretty much anything that gives them big muscles, but those shakes and potatoes and all that pasta will help you gain weight because of the high sugar metabolism, but if you aren't lifting weights to exhaustion they won't do anything but give you flab.

Avatar f tn Tx is something else, what works for 1 person wont work for another. Your lucky, I say that because I LOVE to eat sweets. I bake cakes, cookies and cupcakes as a side job and love to eat any leftover batter. I have a sugar high for hours but that was part of baking. Now I'm afraid to do that because of any sx that can keep me in bed. Trial and error. thanks for your input.

Avatar m tn for weight maintenance, I should consume about 2.000 calories. As it is now, I eat about 1.500-1.800, which means that if I don't change this, I will keep losing weight. Right now I think I am at a minimum healthy weight for my body frame (my BMI is around 19). I should add that I am not one of those naturally skinny girls - I have a medium frame and right now my ribs, my hip and shoulder bons can be seen through my skin. My question is: what should I eat during a day?
