Avatar f tn But am confused about the nutrition fact they write in the box of food (rice for example) they say nutrition facts for 100 g but is it like 100g of boiled rice or the uncooked product ? I guess there's a difference because when you use dry product you need for example two cups but if you use cooked rice you may need a cup ... Since it sucked water and its heavier so .. Any thoughts or maybe am dumb lol ! Thank you .

Avatar n tn Apparently my body was totally fine with liverwurst (which i would never crave or eat) and white breads... ezekial bread made me sicker than anything and goodbye rainbow light prenatals... haha. I don't think your being over sensitive.. if you are staving off your morning sickness and still eating mostly healthy you are doing awesome and should keep it up. Good luck you are doing great and I think anything in moderation can be countered by nutrient dense food!

The only reason they might cause bloating is because they are chock full of fiber and if you aren't used to eating a lot fiber, it can cause you to bloat. Broccoli is a goitrogen, which can interfere with thyroid function, but only when eaten raw. Cooking foods that are considered goitrogens, takes away the goitrogenic properties. You mention gluten in your title, then rye vs white bread.

I would just eat healthy foods, and if you want to snack try to keep it healthy as well, such as apples, pineapple, watermelon, pears, cantaloupe, etc. You could also eat veggies and such if you like those as well.

Avatar f tn I use Mountain Bread rice wraps which is 70% rice flour and a lesser amount of wheat flour. It is SO much better than than full wheat wraps. So much lighter and delicious. I wrap ham and cheese inside and then cook it on the frypan to make the bread nice and crunchy. I don't have an intolerance to wheat anyway but I still don't eat a lot of wheat.

Fiber is perfect for us who have pcos, eating more fiber...atleast 20-30 grams a day will help you stay fuller longer...therefore not eating as much. Lots of fresh (or canned or frozen) veggies as well as fresh fruit (or frozen or canned). Keep plenty of water with you at all times. I keep a 1 Liter bottle of Poland Spring water on my desk at all times, and I drink that throughout the day (and yes I refil it sometimes 3 times a day!!).
